For cloudstrike you can see the guardians shields broke meaning they were above half health at least.

If precious scars heals when sliding or wtv (not needing to actually revive the normal method) then it is actually good. But the overshields are soooo dependent on how tough it is. The overshields only lasts for a certain duration due to the readout saying "upon revives"
I wonder if one teammate causing damage with Salvation's Grip helps another teammate's No Time To Explain perk to activate?..Or atleast in some form or fashion?🤔 Wouldn't be a bad combo!!

If you think hunter shift is op and not an over shield whenever the hell you want, then you don’t know what it’s like to be a hunter being chased by a Titan with one eyed mask and trying to shield/shoulder/hammer strike you and have the lock on so magnetized. This shits all gonna be dope as hell
dude there could be a hunter with an over shield chasing me, a warlock. if you use one of the mods for class abilities to have a over shield for a few seconds no one stands a chance. imagine a teleporting semi-invincible hunter with a shot gun that can get the teleport back every ten seconds. meanwhile i'm over here with a nEcRoTiC MeLeE. Ezra Trotter as someone who used to main warlock, movement is key my dude! I’ve gotten pretty good against shotguns by just staying in the air when close by then dropping down at a distance and spraying them. But I will admit, they did warlocks dirty with these exotic

I'm a Titan main and for years i've found Resilience near worthless. But with Icefall Mantle i can FINALLY be the tank i've always wanted to be. The Behemoth subclass will really fit it's name.

You know that the two guys dying to the cloudstrike storm where relatively high in health because the red sort of aura around them when they took damage is the effect that happens when your shield is broken.

I think the poison melee will probably be most effective in mid tree Voidwalker since their melee does so much damage. Warlock apes rise up

I love the way the new Titan helmet takes inspiration from the japanese practice of fixing broken objects with gold along the cracks, really ties into the theme of the exotic being an amped-up revive

I can only imagine that cross as he's watching this is a like a kid in a candy store. Drooling over the build potential. Can no time to explain work together with getaway artist for double turrents, how deadly are the hunter knives and where is monte when you need him. Stronghold and new exotic sword let me at it. Mrs. Aztecross will wake up in the middle of the night listening to him processing the potential of the exotics yet to be revealed, and I do not blame him these exotics look amazing. Can't wait for the build videos cross.
@Jonathan Davis You can also activate the turret from precision hits, not just hits against frozen enemies. So it will work with Arc Soul.
They say in the vidoc you can actually stack getaway artist and no time to explain at the same time.

Imagine reloading your gun instantly after warping! I guess my point was that I hope it doesnt have a slow animation or start up like blink. Blink is sluggish and I'd prefer a dodge over blink. If its more like instant transmission, thats pretty OP.

The launcher might be the raid exotic. The reason is that in the last cutscene for Shadowkeep the [Darkness] calls itself our salvation

it might not be released right away and might be added in a later season. dont remember if they said it will launch with beyond light or not.
Anshul Agrawal no Luke smith said that it was one of the exotics coming with beyond light when they revealed it, and the goal was “reveal beyond light exotic”
They probably only showed off the random world drop exotics, we have no idea what quests we’ll get or what the raid has in store

Precious Scars got that Skorri Artifact animation from D1 that granted a super recharge rate for allies once your super was charged.
Man November can't come quick enough to get my hands on all these unique exotics especially the Icefall Mantle
When the hunter uses the shift ability there are particles the way he's going like minecraft invisibility and if you look closely you can see his shadow when he's moving

Shane Infinity it’s tied to the hunter dodge ability so why would it only work on stasis sub-class? That being said this exotic is likely going to get nerfed because every and I mean every hunter will be using this and only this in crucible. Imagine a lobby full of teleporting hunters.

I don't think the Hunter's "shift" is as broken as it seems. For one, it replaces dodge, so it's still on that timer of AT LEAST nine seconds if you spec out mobility. Two, bungie has to implement a hitbox somewhere. The basic dodge ability doesn't have I-frames, I imagine shift will only break tracking and like Blink, has the trade off where the Hunter's radar will be disabled for a second or two. And three, Warlocks already have Blink as their actual ability jump and I don't see Blink being used that often in pvp, so I'm just going to call it non competitive for now. Especially compared to icarus dash spam.
I guess I just got annoyed that as soon as Hunters get a toolkit upgrade (the Hunter class is MEANT to be a massive toolkit class compared to Titan and Warlock), people immediately call them out on it. Remember the rage over the weighted throwing knife? So what if it OHK, it still has a lengthy windup, you have to aim, and you'd better hope you're not getting shot at the entire time. But titan shoulder charges and all are okay, and warlock hhsn is okay too.
Just accept that pvp will never be properly balanced to your own favour and the meta will always change. It's a broken power fantasy, so just try to have fun with what you've got.
Won’t have any of the trade offs that regular blink has because it’s literally ionic blink which has zero penalties. No hitboxes until they get out of the blink. So they can now blink shotgun. That’s why people are all over it rn
@@akhilinnampudi3314 Well, given that sandbox changes either roll in very quickly or months afterward, I'm sure it'll be tuned properly for pvp and all once there's enough talk about it. Between Shift (which forces Hunter to give up an exotic slot too) and constantly having frozen players because of Stasis, and the other broken guns/exotics in the game, I'm sure Shift is amongst the least worrying. I'd much rather deal with a Hunter shifting every nine seconds than, say, a OHK ability spam or everything else that makes pvp something you just groan and grow grey hairs over.
Edit: Not to mention, Titans are getting another exotic which gives them another free overshield, and pair that with void subclass that gives them overshield, damage, and faster reload on melee kill? I'm sure that will be fun. Warlocks are getting gauntlets that will deal DOT damage, like a discount Thorn, and I'm not about to watch the video again for the specifics, but imagine if it can stack with solar ranged melee? Or the void delayed detonation? This new wave of exotics are playing to Class strengths, so really, I don't see much point in complaining since every class will be getting pretty good exotics this time around.
Overshield YES!! now I can run like a maniac punching everything on my way, popping up overshield for a nonstop punchfest
About damn time they provided an answer to the barrier. I've been a Titan since before we even had them, when class abilities didn't exist. I was always a bit underwhelmed by the barrier, I mean sure it has its' uses but for me it was always a lackluster class ability. Now comes along these gloves that lets me turn my barrier into an overshield, a much needed toy to make that ability more useful overall. While barriers are good for locking down doorways and certain narrow lanes that's not always what's needed.
I feel like Cloudstrike would be a heavy sniper, looks too good to be a special. Also, I’m so excited for the Mask of Bakris. Otherwise everything looks so damn good, and the names are so cool

Because bottom tree isn't already heavily front-loaded into the super? Maybe the burn damage to melee energy portion, but honestly my first thought at that is "so I need to wear an exotic for my melee to be not quite garbage?" Because right now the bottom tree melee NEEDS Solar Plexus to not feel like trash in general, and it takes Ophidian + Solar Plexus to actually make it feel adequate in Crucible. Energy regen from its burn damage isn't going to change the fact that the melee on its own is garbage.
The Daybreak portion on the other hand sounds like it's intended for both trees as a boost to major and boss damage. Think budget Celestial Nighthawk. Particularly since bottom tree's super already one-shots most red mobs so extra + burn damage is wasted on those. The only place I could see the super portion really standing out is in crucible where it could potentially turn the usual 90% damage to players in supers to guaranteed one-shots to players in supers.
Quite frankly though, as one of the few remaining bottom tree players I'd rather have actual, genuine improvements be made to my base abilities (particularly neutral game) rather than a band-aid addition in the form of an exotic.
I agree with you. This feels like a paint job over a broken wall. Bottom tree has the worst neutral game in the whole solar tree and even if the super is pretty good with the tracking and energy on kill the slow mobility and lack of usefulness before it fills up is just so tedious. And the top tree doesn't need this exotic..

Unless its destiny 1’s with flame shield, melee is pretty useless you run exotics that benefits off of charged melee
I’m not enthused for either of the Warlock exotics. As one is a pointless super buffer and the other is just the Thorn but tied to a melee exotic.
Really glad to see Hereafter reimagined as Cloudstrike. Honestly makes my day. Between this, knife gloves, and scout buffs, Bungle might even have me getting this expansion lol.
Necrotic grip looks like a fun Exotic I can see myself pairing it up with Thorn and causing all kinds of chaos.
