Hello! This is referring to about the 3:20 point of the video... I depress the load gasket and it shoots water 6 to 8" into the air for less than a second, then just "burbles out". Should it be a continuous shooting fountain? Does this likely mean my pump is bad?
@jamesrobbins3233-Yes, the spray should be a continuous fountain of solution. If it (the pump) is performing at optimum psi, the spray will stay constant as opposed to bubbling/burbling out. Please keep in mind, if the flow indicator has any fissures or flaws, they may present upon replacement of the pump due to the pressure.-Amanda
My water flow indicator is not spinning and no water is flowing. The suction is working, and I don’t see any blockages when taking the parts apart (the parts that are meant to come apart when using / cleaning the machine). Any go-to check points you can recommend to troubleshooting ?
Thank you for the description that you provided! Because the spray is dependent upon the pump (to push the solution through), the flow indicator (indicates solution moving through unit and diverts it to either the bottom of machine or the top if the hose is connected), and the solenoid valve to open and allow the solution to exit the bottom of the machine; you will probably want to test your pump first. If you would like some guidance, please call us at 800-242-1378 ext. 2180 and we will be more than happy to walk you through testing your pump. It will take about 5 to 10 minutes of your time.-Amanda
After lending out my big green machine, it won’t spray from the floor, only from the hose attachment. Suction from both is fine. The flow indicator spins but nothing comes out the floor. I’m guessing it’s the solenoid. Is there anyway to “jump start” the solenoid from being stuck closed to the floor?
More than likely, you are correct about the solenoid valve being your culprit. However, once you replace the solenoid valve, you may find out the flow indicator was bad all along (or vice versa).-Amanda S.
The area/amount of solution coverage is not exact as it 100% depends upon the user and how much they saturate the carpet's surface. If you are heavy handed with the spray, you will run out a whole lot quicker! However, one tank should be enough for the average 65m2 (700 ft2) room-Amanda
When we start the machine the flow indicator spins but water comes up through the connect hose. Is this normal? Water does spray out and it does suck up water. Can this be fixed?
This is the flow indicator causing this issue. Part #1606811 will get you a new one. Once installed, make sure to double-check the spray function for both the hose and the bottom of unit to make sure you do not have another part that has been compromised as well-Amanda
If the machine is spraying out of the bottom of the machine but not out of the top through the hose, most likely it is just the flow indicator going bad. The flow indicator not only indicates the flow of solution running through the machine, it also diverts the water from the bottom of the machine to the top when the hose/tube are plugged in for use-Amanda
Probably hard water buildup if you didn't use distilled water. I used our tap and I suspect that's my problem somewhere on my machine. It happened with one of my steam cleaners too.
I won't know someone in Grand rapids is enjoying my $400 machine it's was dropped off at the wrong house Even though Amazon had the heads up It was on the wrong delivery truck
Or, you can choose to view it as, "They are going to ensure that my investment in this machine is going to pay off over the years because they are going to make sure I can fix anything that occurs if I have to". We truly have customers that have had these same units for years.-Amanda
I owned one and I do professional cleaning and done carpet cleaning also and I had this machine for more then 6 years never had an issue best investment I have done.
Very through and informative. Thank You
Thank you so much, problem is fixed. You rock!! 😊
This is awesome, thank you so much!

Should the solution spin wheel indicator always be spinning when on or only when trigger is depressed?
Would this machine clean tile and grout?
My flow indicator is not spinning nor is the brush and i cant spray water from the bottom. What can be the issue?

What about suction issues

How many m2 can you do with a tank? And how many m2 can you do for a day with it?

I’m having this same issue. Did you ever get a response?

How do I get the broken piece out of the pump because that’s what happened to mine
You will normally just replace the pump in its entirety. Part number 2037433-Amanda
What if the flow indicator is spinning but the lever isn't being pushed?
Then the flow indicator is bad and will also need replacing.-Amanda S.

Already know how to use a carpet shampooer
That explains why you’re here commenting

So basically the machine I paid $400 for has 3 parts that are poorly designed and won't last more than a few years. Thanks for the detailed info.

$400 is peanuts for a carpet extractor some bigger ones are like 2-5k
