Bissell may have crappy customer service at times, but as far as I know and as far as my many tests have gone, Bissell is the leader in near all carpet washer and spot cleaners. With a good shampoo solution and proper maintenance these things are beasts
Definitely.
I just got my Big Green yesterday. I’ve had positive results so far. Your video reinforces the choice I made as well.
Fantastic. My big green is 7 years old, going strong!
Isn't t there a newer/updated version of is the black on I'm seeing a completely different model
Yes. The big green pet.
I love it when you take on these videos!!! 🎉🎉❤❤
Great. I have a mega carpet stain spray comparison planned. Its a very complex project with over a dozen products to test.
@@VacMaster1991 awesome!!
I have the BG10 variant of that Bissell. We just call it Big Bertha. Over about 4.5 years of ownership, the BG10 has more than paid for itself and is a must-have if you've got kids and or pets.
Yes agreed. I have had mine for 7 years. It's still working like new
Wow!The Bissell did a great job.
Yes it did.
I found a cure for those Dyson canister dander clinging woes and blocked passages of fine particulate. It works well and is antistatic. First take your canister and remove it from the bin. Tap it over the garbage to really get most of the particulate out. Cut a section of bounce sheet and put it in the bin ( cut it to what ever size it takes so that it at times cyclones around the bin). Replace the canister back in place. Start vacuuming. It's amazing how it reduces static cling and keeps those canister cyclones clean and the screen ( whether ball or cordless). After 20 minutes of vacuuming I've noticed all the fine particulate at the bottom of the bin and on the bounce sheet. By one light tap the bounce sheet drops the fine particulate to the bottom and the sheet can be reused a few times. It works amazing ( Don't let Dyson know😂😂😂)
Interesting. If my bin gets dirty I use a small leaf blower.
Excellent Video ✨
Thanks

This video is perfect helping with my decision. I’m going Big Green. Thank you
Glad I could help
I've had my Bissell Big Green for almost 6 years, and I love it.
I got mine in early 2017. Still going strong
I just ordered mine after renting once. Well worth buying.
Yep. The big green is a cleaning monster
May I ask where you purchased yours ? I've been seeing terrible reviews on Amazon.
I honestly can't remember. It's been so long
Thanks for the comparison. I have the old rug doctor that they used to rent out. It’s just to heavy. I have gone through 2 of the smaller rug doctors that were ok. Getting ready to buy another when I found your video. I think I’ll buy the bissell. I see they have 2 in the big green. One slightly more expensive. I will get the one with the hose. Appreciate your taking the time to compare them. Thank you.
Glad I could help! The big green is fantastic
The bissell is definitely a winner
The video says yes.
Just bought the big green pro yesterday , TY for this review. How does it do next to baseboards (filtration stains ) ? and recommended solution ? TY
It doesn't get super close to edges. Use the hose and some carpet spray to clean edges.
Unrelated to this video but will you be reviewing the Shark carpet cleaner or comparing it to the Hoover Smart wash ? Currently trying to decide between those 2.
I will sometime. I have other video priorities right now.
What was your thoughts on the older Rug Doctor Might Pro or Might Pro X3 machine vs the newer Rug Doctor machines that are available now?
I have never had one before.
How long does it take for a bedroom rug to dry with only a ceiling fan and open window?
It shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 hours
@@VacMaster1991 thanks
Bissell has whiten the carpet
Yep
Can I use another ingredient in the machine, for example vinegar?
@@v.n.8550 definitely not. Use carpet cleaner solution only
@@VacMaster1991 there would be a problem with the machine or the carpet
Thanks
Yes. Vinegar is an acid and could damage the machine and your carpet.
@@VacMaster1991 thanks very much
But... which is the better built and longer lasting machine that won't be problematic?
The big green is definitely built better. Mine is 7 years old and going strong
Hoover??...why not use zep?
I have had zep carpet shampoo before. It's super foamy and doesn't work as well as good brands like Hoover, Bissell, or Rug Doctor.
That's probably because you're not using it correctly,I use 2 cups or 16 oz and I've had great results, try using more next time, never follow the manufacturers recommendations because they're full of shit and Don't know how to properly dilute shit
I think weight of the machine makes a big difference
They are both very heavy. Over 40lb.
Why u went faster on the green 😳
@@finest2063 it's easier to push. Bu quite a lot.
Bissel is made in china, sadly. Rug doctor in USA. Going for the rug doc
Pretty sure the Rug dr is made in China too
Rug doctor made in Mexico also
