    Thank you! This video practically saved my business. I didn't have a drill or patience for undoing all the screws BUT putting the machine on its side, then cleaning it out with a butter knife worked. I just cleaned a carpet and it suctioned like new.

    I WANT TO THANK YOU !! I have had My Bissell BG-10 since 2014, Has given me many years of cleaning. The suction stopped two days ago and I was about to toss it and get another. Lo and behold i got bored and found your video.....Today I plucked out about a Half pound of Dog Hair from not only the front ( as you explained ) but eveywhere in the Roller, Behind the roller caked in so thick I needed to use a light high pressure water bath and a screw driver underneath. I suppose I was being very lazy as I never thought to clean under there. Furthermore, I had an additional Problem........When I would shut off and store , there would be water , nasty water where it sat. I am assuming it was Water from all the clogged hair draining. After extensive cleaning.........This thing does not leak and picks up the water like it was new. Thanks again so much !!

    Informative video.👍 NOTHING WRONG WITH IT except, in my opinion: Why do so many people still take cell phone videos with their phones upright? Why not turn the phone 90 degrees so the aspect ratio is full screen? When I see videos taken like this I think "this video must have been taken by an 11 year old" and I catch myself thinking that quite often. I liked the information but I am floored by the aspect ratio decision. HOWEVER, THANK YOU for not adding background music to your upload like SO MANY wanna-be CZcamsrs do. For that you get a LIKE! 👍

      Harry Hands, Thank you for the critique of the filming aspect! I am not of the social media generation and have never considered a career in filmmaking (I guess that is a good thing!) so I had never thought of that! We may give that a try in one of our next ones! -Amanda S.

    Bissell. Do you have any way of doing a video on replacing the vacuum motor? I replaced my carbon brushes on the motor and still it will not engage for the suction.

    I don't get suction out of the tube/brush attachment either - would this make any difference in that case?

    • @bissellcommercialcustomers4100
      @bissellcommercialcustomers4100  Před měsícem

      Because the hose is a separate piece, the answer is not. This area is not the problem. You will need to thoroughly clean your hose and tool, removing anything from both that might prevent appropriate working order.-Amanda S.

    What could be the cause of my big green machine if it’s not spraying

    • @bissellcommercialcustomers4100
      @bissellcommercialcustomers4100  Před 2 lety

      Annette, The suction function has absolutely nothing to do with the spray function. You will want to check your pump first as the spray will be controlled by 3 mechanical components (the pump, flow indicator, and the solenoid valve all work together to produce the solution flow). Please call us at 800-242-1378 ext 2180 and we will walk you through the testing steps to help you identify the culprit(s)-ASE

    • @LTSRIDE24
      @LTSRIDE24 Před 2 lety

      Start with the flow indicator $9 on Amazon & you can swap it out yourself in 15 minutes. Even if it's not your issue, it's cheap & you can return it or I'd suggest keeping it as a spare. This is a very common part that fails!
      My guess is that you have a solenoid issue. That will take around 30 minutes to replace & run you around $30.
      Good luck!

    How do u get the nozzle gasket back on

    • @bissellcommercialcustomers4100
      @bissellcommercialcustomers4100  Před 2 lety +1

      You place it back on top of the nozzle body, you line everything up again, and reattach the nozzle housing around it. The top of the nozzle body should "lock" it into place for you with the top of the rubber portion peaking out to seal onto the tank once it has been placed.

    Always check the upper housing if there is suction after dissembling the nozzle. After replacing the blown-out foot motor I had to replace the vacuum motor for no water suction.

    Good information, but please, lay down a mat when working on the machine, especially a customers.
    I was 🫣😬🫣😬 every time something was moved!
    I would never lay a machine directly on cement & regardless of how careful you are, you're guaranteed to leave scratches.

      CS, Thank you for your input. However, our facility does not offer this as an option for my video purposes. And please do not ever worry as we do not use customer units in our videos. All units used in our videos are actually specific to our Customer Service Department for tear down and demo purposes. We appreciate your concern and simply ensure that we do our best to make the most out of what we have available to us.-Amanda S.

    Why in the world would there be so many damn screws? This is not a user-friendly operation. I will never buy Bissell again. I have always had the competition but thought I would try Bissell. I bought 2 different models and they both are not user friendly. Horrible.
