My underrated picks: Resolute Watchdog, Font of Agonies, Gutterbones, Mirror March! Heck, even Spear Spewer! This set had so many good cards for Commander, I'm still picking things out that work fantastically that no one has ever heard of!

Captive audience was my favorite card of the set because I like dropping massive spells that do big stuff. I opened a box of allegiance that had a foil and non foil captive audience. In the end the box sucked 2 shocks and like 3 mythical but at least I got my favorite card in foil!
Unbreakable formation is one of my pet cards, i put it in a lot of my decks :) fortunately i got some copies when they were cheap
Electrodominance is a great way to flash in a permanent while possibly killing a threat.
Dovin, Grand Arbiter is a planeswalker that I think might be good? In a flyers deck, Dovin can very quickly get a lot of loyalty, and his ult is not game breaking but is solid.
Ethereal Absolution is a steal at bulk prices and super solid.

Before watching, I knew Smothering Tithe was going to be the first card. It's bonkers!
I have a TON of smothering tithe.... it was like in almost every other booster I opened in this set. happy day.

On the topic of enchantments matter colors/commanders not touching red.
Mathas is the typical curses commander but mardu/curses could use a dedicated commander.
Boros has Tiana, Ship's Caretaker, which cares about Equipment, yes, but also Auras. Although there's 0 card draw on the commander, Tiana does allow value via the GY.
Valduk, Keeper of the Flame is straight up mono-red and similarly to Tiana, he cares about Auras and Equipment. Sadly there's no value or card draw to him, only aggro burn elemental stuffs.
Off of the "enchantment commanders touching red" topic, we also have Abzan. And Abzan just got Tayam, which makes for a very interesting and quite open ended enchantment commander. I built mine toolbox style and it's quite oppressive (much like Karametra decks).
But even though we have those commanders in Boros, Mono-Red, and Abzan, we still could use a mardu and Abzan enchantments matter commander. Both colors have reasons to have those commanders, especially Abzan since it has all the selesnya enchantments matter pieces.

I opened FIVE Prime Speaker Vannifars in my booster box. And I still haven't found a use for her.
Toss her in a Muldrotha deck. She does well for me.
She makes herself a target, but with Big Mama, you have recursion on a stick.
Smothering Tithe would be a 30 dollar rare if it were not reprinted in a few of the extra products that were printed

Haunt of High Tower - "Whenever a card is put into an opponent's graveyard from anywhere". Does casting an instant or sorcery count as a card going into a graveyard, or does that only apply to permanents/milled cards?
If the card hits the graveyard then it counts. So yes the instants, sorcery, and fetchlands all count.
Yep, instant and sorceries count too. So will niche cases when a card gets put into a graveyard from exile (mimic vat and some eldrazi stuff comes to mind). Literally anywhere.
