And they say Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover 😏
Well, when you put it that way!!!
LMAO!
Ikr
Not even close compared with this masterpiece
They definitely would have whopped thanos.
forget Hittler, forget Internet, Queen was the most important thing that happened in the past century.
dude, I'm a fan, but not in this level haha
That wasnt the best thing that happened last century , it was the best thing ever happened.

7:10: "Goodnight, Freddie. We love you." - Roger Taylor
😭
You can see him almost burst into tears after he said that. I remember an interview he gave 4 years after Freddie's death saying he still hadn't got over it. Really touching.
@@jamieross8586 I feel safe in saying that there wasn't a dry eye backstage that night.
Brian May said in an interview that when they were walking back to the stage someone stopped him forgot who it was but he told Brian to turn around and look at the crowd this is something we will probably never see again ... that really hit me
Yeah, I saw that in the Queen Adam Lambert special they had last year, at the beginning.
Whoever had told him that was absolutely correct, all the major Superstar performers we have lost and we have not gotten a tribute like Freddie did.
I know it was the bands decision to celebrate his life like this, but I can't think of anyone else who has gotten a send off like Freddie did that night.
The end of this concert where they all came out was just pure celebration of a man who loves life and performing.
It was Joe Elliott of Def Leppard. A great friend of Brian May, and an admirer of Queen. What a fantastic moment! You can see Joe and Brian side by side at 7:23 (Joe is in the white shirt)!
Chester Bennington deserved something similar in scope to this
3:17 Freddie was in the crowd the whole time!
Jjajjajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja 😂
Nos engañó a todos XD
Yes❤❤❤
I love how Roger throws the drum sticks at the end of the song
Maybe in that very moment he probably thought it was over and throwing the sticks was him saying he’s done.
3:16 FREDDIE IS STILL ALIVE!
The guy in purple with a cap on behind Freddie is sitting on my shoulders. He sat on my shoulders for part of this song and turned round and told me how incredible it looked during WATC. I couldn't sit on his shoulders because he'd walked into a lamp post along Empire Way and hurt his knee! They showed this clip of Freddie and Steve on the breakfast news the next morning.
Ha! Caught that as well!
OMG he looks just like Freddie
32 years ago today we lost a beautiful soul. I love you Freddie. I was 1 when you died.
People need to understand it takes a very strong and special person to stand on that stage in front of all of those fans and do this. She was truly iconic here.
6:22 Daltrey is such a fuckin' legend....see how he tells Roger, John & Brian to go to the front of the stage for their last bow. Spine chilling
I didn't appreciate the momentum and symbolism of having Liza do this when I watched it live as teenager.
I sure as heck appreciate it now.
...songs by Queen were always meant to be as a group involvement. Lisa's performance was perfect for the occasion: on her own not fully established during the duration of the song, therefore the cast fully supporting her/singing the song, her contribution fully expressing Queen's legacy.
4:43 this flag hurts my heart. WE WILL MIS YOU FREDDIE
Queen Forever You're so correct! Emotionally yes!
When I saw it, I cried :(
Queen Forever
I immediately knew which one you’re referring to without even having to go back and look

Freddie's death still hurting my heart until now😢
Kryon Grainger mine too
I love the way George hugs Liza...sweet and tender...this tribute will remain in our souls forever!!!
Watched this show live on the telly at the time. I remember seeing this at the end really left a lump in my throat. It was so final. The end of Queen. It was moving, brilliant and totally devastating all at the same time. Only a band like Queen had that rare art. Interesting to note that out of all the mega stars that have passed away since this concert that not one of them got the massive send off which Freddie Mercury got. This type of concert will never be repeated.
Yea no doubt, this was all Brian, Roger and John's idea, their tribute to their brother.
It was a glorious concert and a fitting tribute and celebration of some legendary music by Queen and the bands/artists that performed their own music.
Only Freddie could sell out a stadium and not physically be there.
I watched it live on MTV and I was 12 years old. I cried during this entire ending.
It's one of the reasons to me why I could never want to see Queen these days because it's not Queen. Hasn't been Queen since August of 1986 from their final show with Freddie from the final tour. I had seen this clip at the end of the tribute show and I too broke down and cried so hard, my heart broke for the band again even though it's been so many years since Freddie's been gone. What's amazing is that it may have been a different stage setup but the area still looked the same when they did the show in 92, point being Freddie's footsteps were on that stage without a doubt. Excuse my rambling guys, I just get so emotional talking about this. I had literally just watched the Bohemian Rhapsody performance from Wembley Stadium in 1986 when they were there the last time and also We Are The Champions, if anyone were to go back and watch that last performance from then 6 years earlier, I swear I could almost feel he knew what was going on, the way he was singing, the way he just carried himself on that stage, I just have that feeling like he knew, does anyone understand? Please tell me someone knows what I'm talking about.
@@BlackAngus555 I believe he kind of had an idea he was sick, it didnt fully realize it was HIV until after the 86 concert, he had an interview on TV and the reporter asked him something about coming back again and he said yes if I'm still around.
A healthy person doesnt say that and I believe he slipped up, knew he was in trouble as far as health was concerned but not knowing officially.
Apparently after one of the concerts, not sure if it was Wembley 86 or maybe in Belgium or somewhere, that after the concert he was more tired than usual and they were all gonna go out and party and he sat down and said he cant do it anymore.
Same ☹️
Llore como niño chiquito cuando Roger dijo:
BUENAS NOCHES FREDDIE TE AMAMOS 😭
LIZA!!!!! Now THAT is a star!!! The ONLY person that could have possibly ended that show and she did it with class, with love, with glamor and just a touch of camp.....just like Freddie and
Freddy adoraba a Liza Minelli.
❤🎉🎉🎉
"GOD NIGHT FREDDIE, WE LOVE YOU" 😢😢😢😭:(

THE MOST EPIC ROCK CONCERT IN HISTORY!!!
The ending Makes me both happy and cry.
Liza Minnelli in the middle of the Band made me think that Freddie was smiling from above..
8:17 "Thank you, beautiful people...good night, God bless you!"
*The Show Must Go One*
We will never forges Freddie and remember that you are
*THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD💪*
Look at how they're all smiling. All those badass rock legends, some of them you rarely see with genuinly smile. That's the power Queen held over people.
Bloody hell, I'm not even a Queen fan and I am in tears.
Oh wow-never seen this but heard about it. How appropriate that Liza came out-I know I was surprised when I found out that Freddie was a massive fan of hers and especially her stage presence. She was great and looked great.
WOW! So unusual to see Liza Minelli take the lead in a rock concert. She does such a great job even though this may seem may out of genre. Freddie Mercury would have been so elated. Both Liza and Freddie will always be superstars.
"There can be only one" Freddie Mercury
judy would have been proud of liza x
the way how Roger play his drum as if his giving his emotion to Freddie.
Wow, Liza takes it over the top at this once in a lifetime amazing event...
4:17 George why you too far let me come to you...love this moment between Liza and Goerge
It’s great to see the crowd embracing the moment and not sticking a phone in the air!
Freddie: what’s that noise dear ?
God: look down
Freddie: ....*visibly overwhelmed but happy, now crying*
God: what’s wrong?
Freddie: I’m still alive....Queen is still alive
I feel ali-hi-hive
Queen will always be alive!!!
Best tribute ever. George on top form and Lisa so charismatic.

Thank you, but it’s LIZA. And that’s my hair.
Best performance by Liza ever!❤

Oh Dear Lord she is so Gorgeous
It kinda surprisingly works. I say surprising cos rock and Liza dont often mix unless I'm wrong. But it's a great take of Champions. Freddie would be proud. And seeing Freddie in his king of queen outfit at the end was wonderful
"Goodbye Freddie, we will miss you."
Liza Minnelli one of my favourite's
My favourit
Goodbye Freddie- You'll forever stay in my heart, and in my music. God bless you all Queen.
Impresionante!
when george stood with brian in the end really melted my heart
That hurt me in a place that has never been hurt before
Gosh, she’s an entertainer...very few out there!
7:30 God save the Queen
God didn’t save our Queen :’(

Liza leading Rock royalty in tribute to Freddy and to Queen . Magnificent !!!
Bawling. 😭😭😭 So very grateful that Brian and Roger continue to perform for new fans. Miss you, John, but we respect your wish for privacy.
Hands up and waving in the air, just like Live Aid, Freddie still has them in the palm of his hand.
This is so amazing!! Liza is a legend!!!

It's hard to imagine that Queen were standing at more or less the same spot only seven years earlier than this and played the hell out of everyone. Especially Deaky seems so much older in this video than at Live Aid, while he only got seven years older. As if Freddie's death took a piece of John with him, which I'm sure John felt like, may still feel like even today...
It took everything from poor John, practically was done after this, I know he officially left in 97 but you can tell here this was his final performance that had his whole heart in it.
This is such a sad moment, Freddie Mercury would of been proud of this performance, I can imagine after everyone left the stage, Freddie’s ghost appear and he would of said farewell to everyone, we lost him, Eric Carr, David Bowie, Ronnie James Dio, Alan Lancaster, Dusty hill, Lemmy Kilmister, Joey Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, Johnny Ramone and more, R.I.P
If anyone can do this song it's Liza. She is just bigger than life just like Freddy.
Yes, she did sing very good!!!❤❤❤❤
Yes Liza, yes gurl! This was beautiful XX
A queen for the Queen
Liza the Rock Star! Love it!!
7:31 that loud pop says it all, the man was already dead by then but everyone still cheered when he was on the jumbotron
Look at Deacon taking in the crowd at 6:42 onwards - Although he did play live a couple of times after this, it's like he knows he's done and really is saying goodbye!
The miracle that came out of Freddie' passing was that people's attitude to HIV began to seriously change.
❤Freddie
Always makes me cry
Same😔
There are some things you just can’t explain: Freddie died a month before my 3rd birthday, I only heard about Queen when I was about 5 or 6 and my uncle introduced me to their music, I never knew about Freddie while he was alive, and still this brings me to tears every time...
Acid Sons that's the power of music
All SUPERSTARS in their own right . They ALL REALIZE LIZA MINNELLI occupies AIR RARER THAN THEIRS !
She did an awesome job! Freddie would have loved it! I can see her cheering her on!
Sorry for ruining the fun but she was a terrible choice for this song
@@user-ky5tp7fz1h well, that's just like, you know...your opinion man.
@@dec23 ofc
@@user-ky5tp7fz1h No she wasn't. Of all stars and performers. This song is actually the sort of dramatic , life affirming song she would sing. The admiration Mercury held for her stemmed from that sort of material and conversely there's something of a tribute in him tackling the sort of songs which could have suited those great dramatic somewhat campy cabaret-broadway stars he adored and was influenced by. She is herself a strong dramatic over the top performer with a flamboyant rollercoaster of a life to match and she was the perfect choice to sing an "I'm a survivor" sort of anthem.
Grande liza, expectacular
Thanks Freddy. You are a legend!! ❤️💗❤️ The true legend!
I still think they were way beyond The Beatles
I can’t help but boil up at the end with that Freddie flashback :(

yeah Freddie... we will NEVER forget you...
This is the best concert tributes
Freddie in heaven: ,,That was really good, my darlings!"
Young girls today : I want to be a queen when I grow up
Freddie : we are not a queen, we ARE Queen.
