- TESLA SMASH BYD New Battery just 15min Charging!
The adoption of EVs has been steadily rising, but one persistent hurdle still needs to be solved - lengthy charging times.
For many potential buyers, the prospect of waiting hours for a charge has dampened enthusiasm, tethering EVs to a niche market label. However, things may be about to change as Tesla just introduced a groundbreaking battery, giving even fast-rising giants like BYD a run for their money. The company, long recognized for its innovation in the automotive industry, has announced a breakthrough in battery technology that promises to cut down charging times to just 15 minutes drastically. Tesla now sees a future where electric cars can charge as quickly as stopping for a coffee. But when can we expect to see cars fitted with the new batteries rolling out? And how will this affect other automakers?

Yes, coming sooooon.
Same day as the Roadster actually.
😂😂
Don't forget the robo taxis 😂
Long charging time is actually beneficial for EV sales. It takes people's mind off the dozens of other problems that come with EVs.
I like your Humor Alex
😂
Elon is amazing. Remember what he said in 2019:
_1 million Robotaxis by year 2020_
How did that work out?
But still Elon is Elon 🚀
@@TechTeamCommunity If Elon is involved, I will not trust my life on FSD. Now downgraded to Supervised.
yeah but plenty of brain dead lefties worshipping climate change will still think he is a god
And the effects of charging this fast are??? How long does the battery last.
We will find out
This 15 minute charge will be from 30% to 80% so yes this is a reality. I drive long distance so electric is no good for me.
About as believable as the distance they claim their vehicles travel on a charge.
Yea what ever. BYD have a EV that goes 285 on a charge and it cost less than 12K. And that’s brand new. What are you going to do Tesla
Maybe google BYD and broken axles. I don't think BYD is there. They can make toys but not long lasting toys.
@@MiquelGorbiviUS For 12k, I would buy a toy. Just as a 2nd car for the wife.
who cares??? Its all shit anyway
12k? sure, because the Chinese people are paying you to take it off their hands. Massive subsidies and poor quality, that's what 12k gets you.
@@DerekDavis213 Well maybe go up and down the driveway. Just not on regular street because when axles break, its not for the wife
100kWh in 15 min requires 400kW per car.
How will charging stations deliver this kind of power?
Elon has a solution for every problem it’s Elon
More like 280kW per car (10 -> 80% ... 70kWh to fill). But it's always possible to limit the power output if everybody is charging at the same time.
More batteries of course. Batteries to charge the batteries baby!
@@TechTeamCommunity so basically this wont happen...its Elon
@@leontraverse4720 Haha good one
the sooner ev's are a thing of the past, the better. I wouldnt own one even if it was free
I would.... well for as long as it takes me to sell it. 🤣
Getting there but still too long. And isn't it true that the faster you charge a battery the less good it does the health of the battery
BYD is a dumpster fire
Hype
Tesla is toast 🔥
🤝🏽
promising promise has a use by date when reality catches fantasy'
repetitive waffle.
Nio here going from 7 min to 3-4 minutes in battery swap right this moment an this is just roumors and bragging instead of doing so and also faster charging mean lower battery life soo
If Tesla is so good, why need to impose tariff on Chinese EV???
I think that is due to Chinese cars being subsidised giving them an unfair advantage.
@@dodgywheelsandropeywiring5697 What is the subsidy given? They borrow money from the bank with higher interest rate than Japan's automakers. Chinese government does NOT tariff Europe or US car brands. Tesla, VW, Toyota, Mercedes all have factories in China and they never complained about special treatment to Chinese brands. These subsidy, overcapacity, national security, blah blah blah are the things that really impressed me on how good the US in inventing busit as excuses for protectionism.
@@L110508 It's not a subsidy given to you, it's taken from the Chinese tax payer as far as I'm aware making it cheaper for you and putting others out of business. They don't have to tariff other manufacturers when they subsidise their own and screw over other companies. That's not to say I don't like any Chinese cars, I quite like the Ora Cat but the reason they're cheaper is generally because they ARE cheaper and funded by the Chinese people.
It is not protectionism, it's hostile.
@@dodgywheelsandropeywiring5697 That's an allegation without any clear proof. Like I said, VW, Tesla, Mercedes, Toyota, etc all have factories in China. They never complained about Chinese brands have better treatment. And Tesla itself could make cheaper car in China than in America. So when you accuse someone, you better prepare some proofs.
I haven't accused anyone, if you read my first comment I said "I think". That isn't the same as saying I know, but it is my suspicion after watching "The China Show".
Ha what a load of garbage.
Why ?
@@TechTeamCommunity it's another Tesla/Musk load of crap....
