나의 아저씨는 진짜.. 봐도봐도 아이유의 연기력에 감탄.. 작품성에 감탄..
어렸을 때 그리고 20대 후반 30대 초반까지 나는 늘 위로 받고자 하는 마음을 갖고 살았는데 그런 마음을 갖고 산다는 게 정말 삶을 힘들게 하더라구요 힘든 일이 없어도 힘들고 작은 말에 상처 받고 위축되고. 그런데 어느 날 나는 위로 받지 않아도 되는 사람이라는 걸 깨닫고 나서부터 스스로를 사랑할 수 있게 됐어요 사랑하게 되니 상처 받지 않게 됐고요 당당한 나 자신을 보듬아주고 아껴주고 소중하게 사랑해줘야 돼요
내가아마 나이가 더 많을것같네요. 그런데 금도솔님 글보고 위로받고 갑니다. 이제부터라도 제자신을 사랑해주어야겠습니다. 새해 복 많이 받으세요.

Yooo what the hell. IU is absolutely brilliant in this role. She shines with every scene without being over the top. I really appreciate all the effort she puts in the subtlety of her acting. In fact it’s what makes her character so gritty while retaining her warmth in such a harsh cold world. Damn damn I don’t even mind in the slightest that there is no inkling of a love line. Dare I say there may not be a need at all.

Jianna Estoesta you are definitely right, not all drama needs to have a the main characters fall in love. Drama like this, it’s more like a one sided love. He’s a married man, why would she want to start an affair with a married man, also, her character is becoming fond of him because for the fact that he genuinely puts out a helping hand to a lonely girl, who is caring for her ill grandma, if any, her boss admires her for that..and so forth. IU is brilliant portraying such a character like this one.
Jianna Estoesta unfortunately she is getting hate in korea bcs of the concept her a girl in mid twenties falling for a middle aged man which is a no no there and rhey keep saying she doean't have the face of a main lead and she can't act things i can't get

No. It's because someone who she betrayed and used actually cares for her and while she is spying/listening to him after growing affection for him, she realizes that he is truly a good person who cares about her and stands up for her. Why are you making things up?
I can relate
This can be seen in so many different angles. I take it as her anguish and guilt over killing his dad and she's under the impression that nobody understood that she did what she had to do under those circumstances. Finally someone did and it felt like a rush of cold water being poured to a thirsty soul.

What you said is also true, but she betrayed him with the fact that she wanted Dong hoon to be happy. it might be because you didn't watch the entire drama

깠어도 내게는 영원한명작이예요^^ 이건근본적인 사랑애기같아요. 가족, 친구, 사람에대한예의에대한 이야기를 이렇게 담담하게풀어낸 멋진드라마^^

Believe it or not, i never liked IU's character in her previous dramas though i like the real intraverted character of her.
This drama is just wow, i am not sure which word i can use to describe its beauty. Perhaps, mesmerizing. Storyline of each characters is so unique and fresh. Hats off.

I would kill anyone who hurts my family." that's when Ji An finally lets the tears she had been holding back for so long go, as she realises her ahjussi understands her and her pain. Someone that understands her. That's all she ever needed. Just a beautiful scene, I cried.

what is amazing is , ahjussi said his line in the position that he is ADULT STRANGER fro jian. he is not her friend, her lover and her family,,, but he said and act that far to stand up for her . i never found adult stranger like that in my workplace
i really need more than only 16 episodes of this beautiful drama and overall more about ahjussi and Ji An

Koh Angela internationally yes but in korea no as many middle aged man keep pestering young girls in early twenties to date them and kind of harass them so netisens sees this as a sort of claiming it's fine and encourage it so they are so against it

I think Jian doesn't want him knows she was killed a person. Cuz he always stand right next to her. But when bad guy shout to Ahjussi ("Cuz she killed my father. She killed my dad. She killed him!")Jian stopped running, and turn around and trying to go back cuz she think he will be avoid her as other people like afraid as Ahjussi's wife because Jian was killed a person.But, when Ahjussi said "I will kill too... If someone hit my family, I will kill too". I think she cried Ahjussi's saying because he was the first person who understand and protect her. like a family.
Park Dong Hoon : If I was her, I'll kill him too. I will kill.. whoever beat my family member.

We all know how strong Lee Ji An is. She didn’t shed a tear when she’s beaten up by Kwang Il that she broke her finger, her eyes swelled so bad, her body aches, BUT she cried so hard the moment she heard Park Dong Hoon “if i were her i would kill your father too, i would kill everyone who beat my family”. THIS IS SO HEARTBREAKING. All she needs is just SOMEONE who understands her, is ON HER SIDE, and finally she found that person. All this time she lives by labeled ‘murderer’ and that *one sentence* from Park Dong Hoon goes deep into her heart and hits her. Gosh I am crying a river.

IU crying act is so real that i can feel her pain as lee jian in me and i end up crying too, whether it's in producer as cindy, moonlover as haesoo or hotel del luna as jang manwol, each character had different personalities,with different story to cry and each had different way of crying scene done by her and every time she has very successfully portrayed her characters pain. IU has grown so much as an actress that only her eyes can even tell the story. I am really proud of her💜

예전에 봤을땐 어두워서 안보고 채널 돌렸었는데 지금은 유투브 찾아보고있... 아이유 이선균 다 멋져ㅠㅠ 내가 이선균같은 어른을 갖고싶지만 우선 그런 어른이어야겠지?
초반에 “40대 아저씨 그리고 20대 여자” 이 타이틀에서 오는 내가 느꼈던 단순한 둘의 불안정한 느낌이 여러 에피소드를 통해 그들을 바라보는 내시선의 변화, 그 카타르시스를 참 좋아함. 캐릭터들과 함께 같이 성장하는 기분이고 어떻게 울어야하는지도 잊을만큼 우울하고 힘들었던 나를 다시 펑펑 울게 만들어주는 아주 고마운 드라마💗

This drama is so great in the aspect that Ji-An is able to grow with a help of an actual adult role model that she can follow. She is so young still even through all this trouble. She is finally showing emotions and growing and I can't help but smile and cry that she is growing.
