Good additions to your collection. I like Josefus. I have those on reissue. Laghonia isn't talked about much. I favor their 1970 album titled "Glue". Take care
I like Glue as well.. I have the 1999 and 2016 spanish resissue of it.. i need that 1970 OG in a VG or better condition :)
Rachel sent me!
Nice.. thanks.. good job going head to head with rob.. fun to watch.. good job keeping it civil
We brewed Olympia, Hamms and Lucky Lager at the Miller brewery in Irwindale. All three beers were actually the same recipe with different packaging.
We used to buy $2.99 6 packs of Hamms in high school.. Olympia was $3.99. I didn't know same recipe!
Nice work, Im enjoying your content. Os Mutantes used custom fuzz pedals created by the guitar player's brother who was an electronics wiz. Peace
I'm having a hard time getting a clean OG of that 1st Os Mutantes.
Nice haul! See you again maybe on the next trip. Human Head has a ton of Fela going up on the wall next to
I saw that.. i'll patiently wait for that big shipment from Brazil to arrive :)
You picked up some great records. Surprisingly I picked up originals of Toad Hall and Neighb’rhood Childr’n in Bakersfield.
I haven't played those yet.. looking forward to it. Did you get that Gandalf reissue?
@@VinylPiper Not yet.
Never easy to find Brazilian stuff. Good shit!
Thanks Chance.. yeah.. finding the Brazilian stuff in great shape has been tough.. still can't find a 1st Os Mutante in VG+ or better.. yes.. lot's of them on Discogs from Brazil but I find the grading to not be what is stated :(
@@VinylPiper that's a real tough pull. I know a guy that found a Portugese one last year, and that was the first I'd seen in hand - ever. Go get 'em, Tiger!
Wow you did real well, particularly at Human Head which does indeed specialize in Brazilian. I sold a later press of the s/t Gal Costa (the non psych cover one) and am just now in the process of upgrading to the '69 original. Some great finds there. Intrigued by that Laghonia, don't know it. Have the original Neighborhood Children which is a favorite of the genre. Well done Chris!
I love the Gal album, both the psych cover and the music.. really good stuff. the Laghonia OG on MAG is the top of my Peruvian want list.. right next to Tarkus.
Nice to watch a bit of a video that Maslof is not in
It's a free world, don't click if you don't want to watch something.
Beautiful. Really hard to find those Brazilian lps in great condition like that so you must be over the moon!! I do have OS Mutantes first and second lp (OG monos) if interested let me know and I will send you the details. Cheers Jimmy
I would be interested. Can u message me on instagram at vinylpiper??
You have grabbed some Brazilian stuff tough to find in VG+ or in better condition. Great acquisitions, no doubt about it. I have a reissue of Etcetera, by Laghonia, on the Vinilissimo label from Spain. Great sounding record, in gatefold sleeve, just like the original. I have never seen an OG copy, which must be really pricey. Very nice pick ups.
That is a great label!!
Great video! I know next to nothing about South American prob but need to learn more. My brother travels to Columbia about 5 times a year and told me he sees records all the time!
Have him look for 1. Christopher 1970 on Metromedia Records. 2. Alice In Chains Dirt 1992 on Columbia 3. La Revolución De Emiliano Zapata on Polydor 1971. All three are Colombian pressings. Those are in my wants :)
Jamul is pronounced Ha Mul
Thanks for that. I've never seen this album before. Haven't listened to it yet but will soon.
