The irony of city police saying you can be arrested on federal property, a place they don't actually have jurisdiction (if that post office actually is, they just throw that word out). Some USPS are under federal jurisdiction and you can sue local police big time for an (unlawful) arrest outside of their jurisdiction.

People think security cameras in public places are different because they can't be posted online however that's completely false. Anyone of us can FOIA request any of those cams footage for a small fee and we can post it online wherever we'd like so what's the difference? 😂😂😂 People can say there's no audio and sure they'd have that on their side however anyone in ear shot of you can easily remember exactly what you said so I guess they'll have to only go in public places when no one else is there lol good luck with that.

It would be great to inform them that they have no jurisdiction on federal property unless they have a written agreement with the postmaster. You did get them to admit under threat of arrest that you would leave the premises, but I feel like it was a missed opportunity to properly educate everyone in that building
