I had this problem with my 320i e90 and had no idea it could be fixed this way! some dumb shit quoted me $680 to have a new AUX input installed.. I literally just tried this and it is fixed and working absolutely perfect!!! thank you so much or this upload your an absolute legend man!
I had to fix mine and it was painful but the secret is to plug in the USB port before you plug in the round audio port. I did not pull the side panel apart but I used tweezers and a pen to stabilize the aux Jack because it’s impossible to maneuver and pull up through the opening.
I got a new aux cord with a adapter to the I phone so the aux cord has two of the same ends. What I’m trying to get here is that no music comes out and it says “press memory key”
I wanted to comment on your GT AIR video but the comments are turned off… How do the 2 intercoms compare? Which one is preferable? I already own cardo and ive just bought a gt air 2. I really dont want to buy the sena - reviews arent great. Considering you have real world experience with both in the exact helmet, what are your thoughts?
Do anyone know what the big section for which is above(in this video) or left of Car Cigarette socket and Cup holder ? I know I can click the volume-like button to remove it but I don't what it is used for ?
Hi, my aux port and charger port stopped working but it has not fallen as shown in the video. I have a bmw 328i 2009. Advice? I know its not the speakers bc the radio still works 🥺 just not the aux or the charger port. Help

I bought an fm module that plugs into the cigarette lighter and you set the station(like sat radio). It also has a usb for charging and usb for flash drive to play. The sound isn’t as good as the radio(not sure why) but iirc it’s cheaper than a new switch.
robert kelly , it is to turn on A/C or heat to the cup holder in there. So in summer you can cool off a can of soda. Or in winter keep it hot. I is on, O is off. 🤔🙄😄

Somebody recommended using a zip tie around the lip of the aux jack itself to artificially fatten it to prevent it from being able to fall inwards.
That's a great idea, maybe I'll do that on mine. I was just going to hot-glue it in place because Its easy.

You can try a small screwdriver to undo the first clip once you get a feel for the clip design with your finger.

On the radio, you have to press the "AUDIO" button I think is what it is called. Then change it to "AUX"
