What's petty is your imagination, my friend. I'm pretty sure that Coach Sides was focused on winning the game and not CC's stats. That's for casuals to keep up with. Taking her out after the game was already won was a cautionary move to prevent injury. Had Clark stayed in and got injured, the same casuals that criticized Coach for taking her out would have been the same fickle group criticizing her for leaving her in the game. Some say the glass is half empty; others say the glass is half full. As for me, I simply can't overlook her poor shooting efficiency. No one is talking about the fact that she played all but one minute of the game and went 4-14 from the field for 28% and 2-10 from three for 20%. At some point shooting efficiency has to matter. Because of that, at the end of the day, I can only chalk her performance up as ok, my friend. †

As a former player and coach, I understand offense and point accumulation better than most fans. Unless you are talking about a specific player's performance, rebounds, assists and points account for a lot more than 45% when speaking of points. Lol Points make up more than 45% by themselves. After all, they are points the very thing you say they made up. Lol Maybe you are saying that CC's output accounted for 45% of the fevers points, but that wouldn't be accurate either. She missed out on 29 possible points and only scored 15. You might need to clarify what you meant, my friend. †

Angel has the best efficiency rating of any rookie. She has the best net rating of any rookie. She does all this while taking the lead responsibility of guarding the best players in the WNBA each night (Wilson, Stewart, Thomas, Collier, Hamby). All of these players are in the top 8 of the league. She does this knowing that it is going to make her tired. She does this knowing it will most likely put her in foul trouble. Meanwhile, Jewell Loyd was destroying the Fever and CC was nowhere to be found
Yes. Clark gets Diggens ( no offense to her) not Loyd. Clark hardly ever ( I need to think but zi believe it's never) gets the toughest player to guard. Despite Clark Mania I think people are realizing Reese is the superior player.
