She was guarded like a fly on a sticky paper but still managed to assist, and Rebound, and ok shooting. Not many play like her with great passing, and fast transitions which makes it FUN to watch.
CC's teammates are finally learning to keep their eyes up in anticipation of a great pass. Just like James Worthy once had to learn with the Lakers after getting bonked in the head a few times with passes from Magic.
I agree. There was a distinct change in the number of caught passes in this game, which caused a huge improvement in the flow of plays being competently executed. It was enough that the Fever managed to beat a higher-ranked team in an away game. That's not only going to be a major confidence booster for the team, it's also going to help a great deal with play-chemistry improving among the players.

One Second of seeing CC-22 impersonating Stephen Curry hooked me! The second second and I realized Caitlin Clark wasn't copying anybody!

Because what I know is based on clips showing her shooting half-court 3-pointers and making magical passes, reminiscent of Magic Johnson to Kareem when everyone in the stadium and home in front of their television KNEW the Sky-Hook was coming and nobody could stop it, I see patterns where the playing style of CC-22 is changing the team. Boston figured out that all she has to do is get below the basket, stick out a mitt and the basketball would appear in it.

Anyway, I think she is playing perfectly, playing her game and letting the team adjust to things like having a pass actually come to them, and supporting each others play. I think I see a team in name becoming a team in practice.

That was a great team effort by the Fever! They wouldn't have won if Kelsey Mitchell hadn't come alive in the second half. Temi Fagbenle is fast becoming one of my favorite players! She is extremely athletic and creative with the basketball. She is a good rim runner that Caitlin should be able to utilize. Aliyah Boston also had a solid game in the paint.

What good are 12 assists? That translates to a minimum of 24 points and max of 36. Take that off the score and the Fever lose. Assists are priceless.
Take away CC assists does not mean the team does not score on that possessions. Assist are a good measure to quantify a persons role, but sometimes they have no effect on the play or the shot but players like CC get credit for them anyway. Example, the fever is running a play where they pass the ball around the horn, one player is not thinking of shooting, she gets the ball and before she can pass it, her defender falls down, she shoots and makes the shot. Some stat guys will giver the assists, some will not, in CC case she will get that assist everytime.

When I was about 17 I was playing in a recreational League against a guy who was on my High School varsity basketball team.

That's also when I noticed how high the lights were up in the rafters. I mean this guy broke my ankles, my knee cap and my hip all-in-one motion; and made the shot too.
