i personally don't think the 12100f is a very smart choice because for 10$ more you can get a 5600 + you save money on a b450 so it's the same but you have 6 cores that perfom as well of better than the 4 cores on the 12100f. I know you are trying to go off meta but at this price i really don't think it's a good idea. Let me know what you think about that

I bought a sama version of this case. In total is was 65$ and was made for atx boards. it has the cool mirror fans and looked very similar.
intel's stock cooler looks so clean for blue and black builds tbh

These kind of case is very common in China Taobao, and usually come with no Fans. If using the 24cmx24xm MATX board, then 2 side fans need to be removed. The only intake fans can only be placed on top of the psu. These are super cheap dual glass panel cases, usually cost only $13-$16 come with no fans

The Okinos Aqua 3 on Amazon looks exactly the same but with a lower price and has turned out awesome in all of the builds I've used it for, both in black and white. Just beware, if you are wanting to install 2 bottom fans in the case, the motherboards usb3 header might also at the bottom which would make it near impossible to install those 2 bottom fans. luckily, they sell usb3 header extension cables that are super flexible which is what I've had to use to make it work in a few builds, and its only a few dollars
🙂👍 yes i have the case in black, works great, supports full size matx motherboards, personally I would not recommend installing fans on the bottom, the three fans that come with the case are more than enough, plus you have the cpu fan plus the two fans on the video card, so i dont see a need for installling more fans and making it much harder to build in it, none of my builds use bottom fans
@@MrSamadolfo I agree, I just install them at the bottom for aesthetics more than anything. Makes them sell quicker with the more evened out RGB

Hey Zach, I recently build a pc of my own. ( my 2nd build) I went from a 3060 to 6700xt and I was wondering if my new build is great or if it needs some uograde to it.
Here are the specs:

I did check the cpu and gpu bottleneck with a bottleneck calculator but I heard those are not accurate since this build will be mostly used for gaming. Any feedback would be great!

It is 5,500$ by itself. With the power adapter, USB C dock, gaming mouse, 60% gaming keyboard, case for the laptop, cases for the mice and keyboard and laptop cooling fan pad all of this including the laptop will be about 7,000$ USD. What are your thoughts? I need something portable for college work but I also want something very powerful to play games such as Cyberpunk at max settings at least 60fps.

Quick question on my pc build, I have one 140mm intake fan pulling air in from the top and one intake 120mm right side and exhaust fans pulling air out from the bottom and left side (both 120mm), since my build is a mini itx build its hard to change it now due to the flow direction of the cpu fan and theres no space for any more fans. I know its not ideal to have a fan intake air from the top but is this setup okay?
you have it backwards, intake is usually on the bottom, exhaust is the sides of the case and the top of the case, i would need to see a video of that to give u a better opinion, what are your temps looking at under gaming load, maybe it doesnt matter much 🙂

🙂 I have it, its meant for TWO FAN video cards, but if you want the case for a three fan video card then you have to step up to the Zalman P30 or Lian Li 011 Mini or any of the other clones that are coming out

Hey I have a good one for you. I'm balling on a budget with a ryzen 3. Waiting to upgrade currently. I have a 1080ti that just decided to not work anymore after having previous water damage. Is it worth it to just get another one because I have the block for it I'm not trying to spend a lot at the moment or should I just invest in a better one and upgrade along with the card
🙂 i don't know where you live but Microcenter sells the 1080ti and the RX 5700 XT for about the same price, the RX card runs a bit faster and on more modern architecture, personally I like the 1080ti if im doing an older retro invidia build but since your using a AMD platform why not use a Radeon video card with it? the RX 5600 XT is a bit slower but if its cheap then maybe, you also got the slower RX 6600, im assuming your ok with three fan video cards and your looking at legit name brand cards from Sapphire, PowerColor, XFX, and dont forget a Tier C 650w from the PSU TIER LIST

i am going to upgrade my pc and i have a very hard decision to make. Which cpu? My priority is on modded minecraft
atm i think the i7 14700 fits best for me based on comparison sites, but i dont know if i am missing something especially since minecraft is a bit "special" when it comes to performance. i saw that amd cpus have more cache. is that important for minecraft?
the money that the 7950x3d is the max i want to pay but only if its worth it.
and second question: do i have to upgrade my gpu? i have a 1070 and its far away from being fully used. is this going to change with the new cpu, especially when i use shaders or is it still enough?

hey ztt, I built a pc 8 months ago, and the gpu slot on the motherboard like the thing that locks it in broke, is this a damage or something? Will I need to change my motherboard?
it should be ok, just make sure u push the card all the way in, screw down the card with the case screws, then come back and push down on the card, maybe use a flashligh and look really close and make sure the card is plugged in evenly, other than that you should be ok, just remember to check it again anytime you touch the card or u bump the case

Have you seen the IONZ KZ-V Mini Aether pc case very cheap and looks good i dont have it myself but might be a cool option thats similar to this
yes looks cute, just be aware that its meant for extra short and simple motherboards for example ASRock A520M-HDV AMD AM4
6600M is an interesting GPU. The CPU is also an option if you're building a budget PC. Personally i prefer the AM4 options. I really dig the look of this PC. Thank you for not doing the standard rgb rainbow puke that some creators seem to always do.
Hi guys, I still have a Ryzen 3800x with a RTX 3060 12gb. I'm thinking about getting a Ryzen 5700x3d for a bit more fps in current games. Or should I rather install a Rx6800xt or something similar? Only one of the two would work at the moment. FHD is currently still the resolution. MB is the MSI B550 Gaming plus. Thank you scjon now for your advice

🙂 most matx cases traditionally supported three standoff holes across, its only recently that china is coming out with these weird two standoff cases and two standoff china clone motherboards, ive seen already three more content creators here on youtube complaining about this new trend cause almost nobody knows about it and nobody is talking about it, its kinda funny 😅
This same case comes with 5 argb fan and goes for about 30 bucks and I got it to fit a full sized matx board but had to get a bit chicky.
What do yall think? Worth it for 30 bucks..?

depends on you, price and availability and where u are at, just guessing i imagine u need an am5 motherboard and either an 8 core 3D chip or step up to the 16 core 3D chip, but we are talking about quite a bunch of money of course

Good morning, I have z210 workstation with i5 2400 with 12gb RAM 128 ssd no graphic card , windows 10 . I am super low on money to even buy headphones anyway what cheap things should start getting for games to work ? I don't care about rgb or the looks just performance. Also new to computer so I am trying to learn things
Id try to get a graphics card in there so you can atleast play games. You should be mindful if your powersupply has pcie pins otherwise you will need an adapter which is kind of a firehazard. An 2nd gen i5 sadly bottlenecks a gtx 1060 but you can still just use one to at least play some games. Hope this helps!

🙂 update the bios and upgrade the cpu to a Ryzen 7 3D chip, next check your power supply and make sure u have a Tier C or better PSU TIER LIST, then next 32gb 3600 DDR4 Ram

I have a question i would like to build a gaming pc but my budget is pretty limited. should i use the rtx 3050 eagle or the msi and what cpu should i use to not get a bottle neck and what mother board should i use. basicaly i want to build a pc with eithter the rtx 3050 eagle or the 3050 msi and what would work with it beacause i wnet looking for what i would need on a website and the website did not specify like how much power do i need to power this or will this motherboard be able to have this cpu in it so im just asking for some help like which cpu to use what kind of power supply should i get etc
Hit the PSU calculators that the power supply manufacturers have to recommend how much power you require. 3050 is only 130 watts. Could get away with 500 watts, or you can future proof with something like a 650 watt. If on a budget grab 5 2600. The latest version of Ryzen will only give you incremental games. Love the 2nd hand market for parts. Will always get much more performance for your $$$. AM4 2nd hand board....DDR4 cheap now and you are good to go.

The giga eagle is 213mm long VS the MSI Gaming is 278mm long, so it depends on how small of a case you intend to use? The power supply all you need is a Tier C power supply from the PSU TIER LIST of 450w 80white 80bronze but if its not much more money I would step up to a 650w psu just in case u want to try out bigger video cards. This card is pretty slooooow so u can pair it with a new or older cpu motherboard combo.

🙂 depending on the motherboard and case you can configure it the way you like, with two or three m.2 SSD, then sata cables running to some 2.5 SSD or 3.5 Hard Drives

The power cables that plug into a video card? It depends on the power supply you buy, usually the bigger the watts the more cables come with it.

Unless you are into video creation the 64gb may be overkill. Would start with 32gb and perhaps save that RAM money, or put it into NVME. Amazing 1tb does not go that far these days. Have 4 nvme in my current system. You will never regret having more storage. Can always add another 32gb if you really need it.
you only need 32gb of ddr5 ram but get the fastest speed that you are sure is supported by the motherboard. And why are you using a small MATX motherboard? do you have no room for a normal size board and case?
Hi Zach, I have a B550 Pro Ryzen 5 5650G RTX 3070 and 16 GB RAM 3600mhz, I'm worried my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU but I'm also not sure what to even look at when I would want to upgrade. Can I get your opinion please? I do 1440p gaming mostly but on games like Helldivers I'm struggling a bit with a constant frame rate - constantly dipping under 60 fps (medium settings) when there's alot happening (I know this could be the game as well but that's why I'm here asking if it could be my CPU :) )

Hey, Zach I would recommend the X3 Mesh case from Montech. It comes with 6 RGB fans and is extremely high quality for the 65 dollar price. I used it on my 1.5k dollar build and its fans work perfectly fine and look great. The case itself also looks pretty decent for 65$
The X3 Mesh are using fans that use Molex Connectors, most cases are moving over to the more universal standard, the fans have TWO wires, one wire is for the fan speed and the second wire is a three hole argb plug, on the back of the case somewhere they have mounted an argb controller circuit board and you plug in all the fans into it, you control the colors with the reset button and as an option you can control it with the motherboard software if you plug in it into the motherboard, check out the recent Montech Case reviews if your interested in knowing more =)

So the narrow matx is technically called flex-atx and the 9.6x9.6 is called uATX. But they both get marketed as m-atx for some reason.
yes its deception and causing alot of problems for new builders including experienced builders that assume that all matx is the same

🙂 yes the combination should be OK, the 6600 up to 6700 all use a single 8pin video card plug so thats fine with a 500 watt power supply, i assume that evga is an 80white or 80bronze stamp on it rite, if you get a bigger video card that uses TWO 8pin plugs then u should replace the power supply to a 650watt

Good I just wanted some advice, so I have a dell optiplex 790, CPU is I7-2600 a decade old cpu it has integrated graphics but it can't handle the latest version of Minecraft or valorant for that matter I wanted to get a gpu but in my case I have a tower case so I wanted to case swap it because I will need a better PSU for the gpu that will be added so what do you guys think?
FYI: I'm 18 and in the Philippines some parents doesn't want their kids to work like mine and I was willing to save up 22k Ph peso then sell this cpu so it can add to my savings.

yes I have a Sky Two, theres a whole bunch of shrunken clone models that are coming out now, the most recent one is Okinos Aqua 3, its lower and its shorter, it looks tiny next to the Sky Two 😊

Help! I need to find a micro atx mobo that would work with an i7-12700 non k chip! That would also fit a RTX 3070 EVGA XC3
So two dimm slots motherboards should be fine? Personally I dig shorter, more compact cases, so this case might be a gem.
the shorter motherboards that have only two holes across usually mean its really meant for non gaming use or lowest tier gaming use, usually its very stripped and no frills and the bios is limited and limited power inputs and outputs, but yes the size is useful if your the kind of person thats looking to build a small cute case such as the Okinos Aqua 3. And you can't really go on it only having two ram slots, you have to look at the motherboard spec sheet and look at the images because there are boards that are extra wide with only two ram slots. For examples on a proper short board look at the ASRock A520M-HDV AMD AM4 and another example of something extra short is ASRock B760M-HDV/M.2 Intel LGA 1700
Started with a Gigabyte AM4 "gaming" board in my first and only pre-built. The boards with two RAM slots do just fine, although not as high end. Would recommend going straight to 32gb these days, so in the case of board with only two DIMM slots you would want 2 x 16gb, unless a creator where you could push it to 64gb.

🙂 just depends what your building it for, if its going to be displayed in the living room or dining room or kitchen where all your guests and family can see it then I highly suggest you spend more money and get a really nice case for bragging, everyone will notice, and they don't really care what the specs are, but just depends what the situation is 😊
@@MrSamadolfo well name was GAMING, so performance is no1. U cant be doing it in expense of performance when ur budget is already very tight. In a 500$ build 50$ is big money (and it can be spent on better gpu for example while spending rest 30 for case).

Problem for Zach is he can't just make all his builds using the same parts every time. By reviewing this case he took a bullet for all of us pc builders so we don't get stuck in this situation.

I am thinking to make this build 5500 saves me very much money but then if you use b550 it has Pcie 4.0 and Rx 6600 also has Pcie 4.0 only just 5500 have Pcie 3.0 which creates imbalance I think I am sorry if I am wrong I am very new to pc build i have a very limited budget so I don't know what should I do b550+5600+6600 (Perfect Pcie 4.0 balance but my budget 😭😭) or b450+5500+6600 (while b450 has Pcie 3.0 it's perfect for 5500 but Rx 6600 might not be fully utilised as it has Pcie 4.0 that's what I am afraid of ) this saves me a lot of money tho it's just a mess I cant decide what to choose btw is it okay to put rx6600 in b450 ? Sounds not so good please help me any professional
🙂 don't worry broh, its been mentioned on other videos that PCIe 3 and 4 the difference is very little when you are using a Budget Video Card thats slow or old or an entry level video card. The difference might be noticeable with a 4080 but thats a $1000 video card. So if its cheaper for you the b450 5500 6600 then yes its ok. Yes the RX6600 works with most new motherboards for the last several years and yes it should work just fine in the b450. If you want to get fancy the monitor your suppose to buy is a monitor that supports 'AMD Freesync' but you should be able to use most monitors. Dont forget its good to have one hdmi cable and one displayport cable just in case one of the outputs is not working correctly u can try the other cable.
@@MrSamadolfo ohh wow thanks bud really I can't thank you enough btw now I have two builds in mind ryzen 5500+rx6600+b450 a good budget friendly then there is ryzen 3600+3060+b550 exceeds the budget a little bit i have to choose one let's see and yeah I already bough lg ultragear 24inch it doesn't have AMD freesync but it does have freesync premium option don't know about it
