I luv clips like this, showing Paul's comedic side. I think, when you look back at some of these clips were he gets a chance to speak, he could have been an actor, he has real charisma. This must have been near when Dennis joined the group, cuz he looks a little unsure or uncomfortable.
TCB only happened 6 months later I think. You can tell he was like, “What the hell am I doing?” 😂😂

I could never get tired of gawking at these gifted guys sing and dance. They are so smooth and delightful to watch. I love Eddie and Dennis' reaction at about 0.38 and Eddie at 2.51!! After Paul's heart-piercing rendition and poured his heart into "For Once In My Life" that impossibly tugs at one's heart-strings it's wonderful to see him have great fun here. I love him and Blue dancing together.

They really could sing anything! From Pop to Rock to Soul to Jazz. Even the show tunes. This was inborn talent, regardless of what Motown claimed in that it had to groom them.
Why don't record execs and singers today believe in this form of entertainment?

On this song Hello Young Lovers Paul Willams was in rare Form the Heart and Soul of the group how in the HELL could the other members let this happen Group means to look out for each other not to kick them to the side when probems comes up!!!!

I loved this version so much I had to go out and by the temptations In a Mellow Mood album. Of course it's not a live version, but its still the temptations singing as only they can sing

You are very observant brandonbear, this was Dennis's first performance with the Temptations and the first time they appeared with out David Ruffin

Dennis did the impossible and replaced the great David Ruffin without the group missing a beat. I love both equally - it's too bad they couldn't have found a better replacement for Diana Ross.

I'll say it again I think to get rid of Paul Willams was a BIG mistake the one that should have stayed with the Distants was Otis a man that never lead a song nor had the voice to do so called the shots how could that be? the other 4 members should have voted him OUT. The group should have been Eddie,Paul, David, Melvin and Dennis. that would have been a GROUP!!!! 5 lead singers how about THAT?

Otis was perfect he added flavor and yes he could sing lead.
