  • 36 years after working on his first client’s Lamborghini, something truly wonderful happened for Iain. Ferruccio Lamborghini’s one personal Countach was sent specially, long- distance, to his workshop. Iain has been given permission to exclusively share this unique car. Apart from some brief footage on a CBS News report in 1987, this is a world-first. All of the filming was done pre-Covid restrictions. A huge thanks to Olivier Nameche and the new owner for facilitating this video. Thanks to Liam too- you know who you are!
Thank you once again to everyone for the overwhelming reception of these videos and for all the support of likes, subscribes and wonderful comments.
Iain's recording of Frank Sinatra's iconic track, "Come Fly With Me", is available to stream or purchase on various sites now including iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Deezer. A huge thanks to legendary guitarist/composer/music producer Steve Wright for collaborating with Iain on this.
Here is the song link:- ad.idmusic.co/ComeFlyWithMe
This video was brought to you by Aston Lark - www.astonlark.com/tyrrellswor...
In association with A House of Cars - ahouseofcars.com/
    Filmed and edited by Whipp3dCream - whipp3dcream.com/
With thanks to Tim Shepherd for the field recordings and Mike Mctigue for the historic photo digitisation and additional drone photography.

Wonderful original Lamborghini Countach S by Ferrucio Lamborghini, Mr. Tyrrel's explanations are priceless. It always struck me that all Lamborghini Countach used the same door locks as all Mercedes Benz models from the 60s, 70s and 80s, such as: the W110, W111, W112, W113, W108, W109, W113, W107, W114, W115, W116, W123, W126, etc.

What a pure delight that this gentleman has commenced sharing his experiences here, as if being immersed profoundly. Wonderful, just wonderful 👌

@@64Alvis The engine bay cover looked insecure on the camera side. A Countach was always said to have all the aerodynamics of a brick.
Paulo Martini (F1 driver in the 1980s/90s) got his, without a wing, up to 196mph. No doubt a modified car.

I've had a Countach on a wall in my home ever since the early 80's. They will always hold a special place in my heart. I got to sit in one in the early 80's at a dealership in southern Florida and it really left an impression.

Same here. I got to sit a black one in Melbourne about 14 years ago (at a Car show) Funny thing is, it was a Ferrari event for a children's charity. I was all decked out in my Ferrari gear, but when I saw that black Countach (with a brownish-red interior) , I said to "hell with these Ferraris!". I hung around the car for about 30 mins and was drooling so much that the owner came up to me and said "do you wanna sit inside?" "I said "yeah! ever since I was 10!" Great Success ;-) My wife video taped it (on camcorder- no smartphones back then!) I still have the tape, i'll need to convert to digital format.

Now the first 25mins were good but hold on just a minute. The last two minutes are the best ever. Obviously the new owner has another Lambo. Seeing these two being driven properly is something that could quite possibly never ever be seen or heard again.
