No no Harry, you’re wrong, we do want to know about the truck.
I'm with you lads, more truck content. If you guys don't know them, hop over to Bad Obsession Motorsport's channel and find their series about them working on an old Ford Cargo mobile library, it's excellent :)
“You don’t wanna know about the truck” Actually Harry, yes we do.
Great truck I have the exact same model 1999 man 8.163, does 82 mph as last year before compulsory speed limiters, you can do a perfect handbrake turn in one as they fitted vented disc rear brakes to this model ( the brake discs never have surface rust even if left for a few weeks so must be great quality) and it has never broken down in 6 years, as it handles and brakes so well I called in mental Mandy the man the 7.5 ton truck gti, they will never make a truck so simple and reliable, looks good with my most race and championship winning Alfa 164 racecar on the back, only 280hp but quicker than an m4 from 0-140mph junction 11 traffic lights m27 if your a white m4 owner you know, seriously harry could not have bought a better more reliable 7.5t truck, Shane it has the 56 limiter but erm the speedo might not work when he finds it
One of the best Lamborghinis I’ve ever seen. Dream machine.
A Harry's Garage & Tyrrell's Classics Workshop collaboration is the best thing to happen on CZcams.
Nahhh ol Cleeter getting the Freedom Factory is the best thing to ever happen on CZcams
Beautiful car, but if I was to be a bit picky, the harsh corner radius’s on the sunroof are not drawn from any other sections of glass found on the near by windows. I’d try and tie in the glass a bit better by adding some faint faux heater lines to make it nod to rear windshield. Just a thought. Love your work
How many more secret vehicles does Harry have. More on the truck please
Doderio Larkisso He spent more on the rebuild than I can spend on a car, however what a car. it now looks stunning
@@jonathanbeale3978 well, it's just a line from fast & furious 1..i will also never be able to afford something like this but that doesn't take the fun out of watching Harry enjoy his rebuilt Espada
Great car, brilliant roof. Ever since I was a kid, I thought it one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and I still do.
Wow Iain really is an absolute master, he's at that level where if I needed a classic restored I'd ship it to the UK just for him to work on. He's fantastic, passionate and an absolute wealth of knowledge
Amongst all that exotic metal, the car I was most thrilled to see..... was the SD1.
yeah me too. i had a reasonable nick '85 2600s ages ago, wonder what a tyrrell v8 is worth...🙉
I'm happy, to be not the only one looking at the SD 1.
It was, and it is, a very beautiful car.
I didn’t really care about the truck, until you said I didn’t want to know about the truck. I won’t sleep now. As an aside, I’ve been waiting to see Harry’s face when he gets this beast back. Worth the wait.
@@MLB9000 I’ve just put a Rolls Royce silver Spur in for strip back and repaint. I’ll send you a picture of my face in three or four months.
Harry: You don’t want to know about the the truck
Us: Tell us about the truck!
Harry, thank's for introducing us to Iain and now his channel as well. Now go out and use it.
To be honest Harry, the cost of the rebuild was far less than I would have imagined .Having spent many years rebuilding our vintage Rolls-Royce engine on a very tight budget with half the number of cylinders it strikes me as incredible value !.Your enthusiasm and excitement is great to witness, hope it brings many happy miles of smiles !.
Tickle to the cost if you are able to get the work done and pay for it... BRAVO, and sharing it with us all.
I'm pretty sure that Harry would have been charged "Mates Rates" for the rebuild.
I love your car and thanks for introducing Iain Tyrrell to my world. I appreciate that!
Just finishing the series on the Espada now. It's been so enjoyable and extremely educational throughout. Fairplay to Iain and the lads.
Tyrell is a craftsman ... a master of automotive preservation
Love Harrys genuine gratitude of receiving the piston. Shows the measure of the man, also Harry, we love the truck.
K Man settle down pet, he bought a used Truck thats 20 years old. It’s not like he got one off showroom last week
@K Man Scania from Sweden is the best! Connected to SAAB-Scania, connected to SAAB-JAS Gripen fighter jet....
@@TheAslakVind
Isn't it a MAN truck though?
Actually I just Wiki'd it and they're part of the same group too!
Everything is so connected now! FS!
Iain is such a great guy. We couldn’t be happier sponsoring his channel!
What a fabulous looking car , can’t believe it is 50 years old . Infectious enthusiasm from both Harry and the craftsman who rebuilt the car back to perfection. The glass roof enhances the whole look of the car , it is a piece of automotive sculpture and to be able to look inside at the beautiful interior is amazing and what a wonderful burble from the engine.
Tyrrell Added Tax lol. I love how transparent Harry is with the finances, and also, despite his many millions, he's still cognizant of what he's spending.
@@friggincanvee He started and ran it for years before selling up, I think?
imagine harrys face of disappointment when he looks at the comments and 99% of them are about the lorry haha
Imagine my face of disappoinment when i notice that you didn't use capital letters at the start of the sentence and for the Harrys name.
@@zuti071 Well, since you are being so picky, you have put a small 'i' when that should be a capital letter.
Actually, I really wouldn't mind a video on the truck too 😊. Lambo looks great Harry. Congratulations on getting her back.
Thank God for people like Harry Metcalfe and Iain Tyrell bringing wonderful cars like this back to all their glory. Been facisnated by this rebuild, every installment. I wonder how Harry will like and live with the untinted Perspex..... pretty bright! What a lovely car.
Love the way Harry can't help himself by loving everything he talks about, including the truck!
he is really like a kid in a sweet shop every time he enters the Tyrrell's workshop.
I believe the proper expression is "Like a kid in a candy store". Get it right Harry!
Harry's Garage and Tyrell's Workshop are two of the most aspirational channels on CZcams, and all the better because Harry & Iain are such down to earth enthusiasts.
The interior, with the open roof, is gorgeous! The car looks and sounds amazing!
On a separate note, who are the 5 numpties that dislike this video? Harry is the nicest man on CZcams and he is driving the most unpretentious Lamborghini ever built.
I think Harry and Iain should have a fight to decide which of them is the nicest man on CZcams.
Inevitably there will be some car/lifestyle envy out there and remember that most people can’t afford £33k on a car never mind an engine rebuild but I guess it gives us all an insight into what owning a car like this might be like...
It's your opinion so I guess that is where the comment really sits. Unpretentious ? Are you kidding ? That's like suggesting a Jaguar E Type is quite a nice looking car.
@@graham6229 Nonsense. Most people wouldn't even know it's a Lamborghini, never mind think it is pretentious. It looks like an old classic car with a hole cut in the roof.
Imagine having your apprenticeship with a gent like Iain, the stuff dreams are made of!
That Espada is a thing of beauty. I just love Italian cars of the 70s.
The difference between their choice of transporter sums up why I get excited every time a video from Harry pops up and I can’t remember the last Shmee video I watched.
"I feel like a kid in a sweet shop" That's how I feel every time Harry posts a new video...
I can relate to that! I've just got my Lancia back after a twelve month hiatus, new engine and empty wallet, but who cares - it's back!
Congratulation Harry, waiting to hear the 8000 RPM soon I hope.
Iain looks like such a wonderful person. So awesome to see the craftsmanship once the restoration is finished.
Why does everyone in this video sound exactly like James may. I absolutely love it
12:49 'That's about 1500 rpm..' Thus speaks Jedi Carmaster Tyrrell - Feel the Force young Padwan Harry...
Exactly my thoughts Colin well said, and said it as if we all knew it was 1500rpm. Good on you Iain
The chemistry between you and Iain is magic. Iain and his crew are such perfectionists, I see even your rod holding up the bonnet has been straightened!!!
@@fxkraft1037 What a weird reply? Can't see how you arrived at that conclusion! Probably best not to ask
Despite this being a rare and lovely car, the discussion between these 2 enthusiasts recorded for us, was awkward, stuttering and low on information.
I've seen more magical chemistry between 2 pieces of fruit on my kitchen bench.
The way Harry says "My Espada", just radiates his love for this car :)
Harry's Like an Onion, just when you think, you know everything he has, a truck appears.
This has been my favourite CZcams car series ever! And I’m not a huge fan of this Lambo but I adore a V12 and a classic car that’s looked after! Harry is a proper car guy - not that anyone ever doubted that.
I can appreciate the Espada and I bet it’s ace to drive but looks wise it’s not for me
The interior of the Espada is absolutely gorgeous , love the new roof too .
The engine and bay look fantastic. The roof looks more “factory” than before. The tint level matches the glass - with the new surround it looks like it belongs. The bill is just that. A bill. These videos have shown where the money was spent. An owner doing the right thing for his car through the knowledge, skills and care of a team of craftsmen? That, as they say, is priceless.
I watched Iain's test/ engine bed-in drive and he's clearly pleased with the results of the work. He also has a thing for the Espada, so he's clearly a man of taste :)
£28000 plus tax is a Great deal for so much Car love from Mr Tyrrell. The Espada will provide the most viewed video ever. Thanks Harry.
What an incredible man Iain is to re build something like that. Absolutely wonderful to see. I cant imagine the total value of that car as a classic. What a noise! Love the SD1 in the background too.
Yes it's an expensive car and that kind of restoration isn't cheap either, but that smile on Harry's face when he jumped in for the first time is the very definition of "worth it". Happy for you mate!
It's great to know such craftsmen are still around to rebuild such a superb engine
I want to know about the Truck.
I have one of those but in dropside configuration for my scaffolding business, ask away and I'll answer!
@@bradford_shaun_murray I live quite near. It is at the Airbus Factory in Broughton, Chester
Dear Mr M, I have been watching your videos with great interest over the last few months, and wanted to thank you for the detailed, passionate, honest reviews of cars. Your detailed overview of your personal collection is the by far the most interesting. Your reviews of your collection including the ownership experience, the costs and the emotional connection (you clearly demonstrate this) to your vehicles definitely rubs off on me. I feel a part of your journey (without the bills!), and for that, I thank you. Wishing you the very best. Shamen.
Drop everything! It's Iain and Harry's Lamborghini show...
Been so looking forward to see the look on Harry`s face when he get reunited with his beloved Espada. As expected it was a beautiful moment. Both Harry`s & Iain`s channels are pure gold. I don`t need a TV licence because I`m happy to watch this stuff all day, every day........Thank you You Tube 👌👌👍👍
F***ing fantastic! I love it! That glass roof is my favorite part! And that v12 sounds absolutely amazing! More Espada videos, and even a road trip please!! I love this car!
You can feel Harry's excitement and why wouldn't you be excited. Picking up any car from Tyrrells Workshop would be a treat, but a Lamborghini Espada even more so.
Harry's joy at having the Espada back is priceless. Oh, and the progress payments for the engine rebuild is such a sensible idea - soften the blow!
Believe it or not: My joy would be priceless as well, if i got an Espada! (Freshly rebuild)
28k sure doesn't seem bad at all considering all the things addressed in the refurb
Love the old Rover Vitesse 3.5L. Awesome!
2:50 Yes, Yes I do wanna hear about The Truck.
If you ever bring that car to Australia you've got an added feature now you've installed the glass roof.
Simply place a leg of lamb on the passenger seat and in two hours it will be cooked to perfection.
What a privilege to have Iain Tyrrell work on your car and what a great job he did.
I enjoyed this so, so much. What a spectacular way to end a weekend. This was like joining a few mates for a chat about cars. Thank you.
Obviously after a bill like that it might not be any time soon but I would love to see the Arctic Rolls get some love in Tyrrells workshop
Your joy is infectious- thank you Harry and respect to Iain and his wonderful team.
wow, cant believe this amazing series on the espada is over, what a trip! Thanks to all involved in this fantastic feature. Craftsmanship is amazing, couldn't have gone to anyone better
Congratulations on the collection of the Espada! We've been along for the journey through the videos all these months/years and through it we share your joy.
That interior is certainly deserving of the extra view. Just beautiful.
Congrats on the reborn Espada! One of my favorite cars ever... The finishing of the glass top is beautifully done, and the car looks even more amazing now. Top, top work and a great example of classic car stewardship! Cheers from Canada.
Fantastic video. I’m 63 now, and I liked that car forever as long as I’ve seen one for the first time in 1972. I always thought it was the nicest exotic supercar ever built. I always loved the front and the headlights.
My backside tightened when the repair bill was estimated at $40,000US....I suppose that is not unreasonable for a car this valuable though. The joy you express at driving your car comes right through the screen - Well done Harry! - Hope you enjoy it for decades.
This is the most hideously beautiful car of the last 50 years. And what a project! Thanks for bringing it to our living rooms Harry!
"I feel like a kid in a sweet shop everytime I come here."
I know the feeling!
That incredible panoramic roof is everything
That was absolutely the most horrid thing to EVER do to a classic.. omg i just about vomited.. WHY?????????????
I can really relate to this. I had a Series 3 Espada for nearly 14 years and loved every mile I did in it.
Harry, the Espada looks amazing. An outstanding job by Iain and his team. Looking forward to hearing that engine at full chat. Congrats.
What a wonderful car. Thank god for companies like Tyrrell"s and people like Harry who keep these amazing machines going.
Got to love Harry spending the first 3 min talking about his truck. Classic!
I've been waiting for this! Too funny Ian says "please don't take this a reflection of our workmanship" hahahaha Ian you are a legend!
Harry, your excitement at seeing and driving the Espada after waiting a year was palpable and fun to experience with you during this difficult time.
The new glass roof is amazing.
Love the espada, loved the lorry but seeing Harry’s face when collecting it is priceless! Remembered the time I got to drive for the first time my AE86 after the restoration... what a joy!
I'm so pleased for you, Harry. Your face when you saw your Espada was priceless. Well done.👍
Please, more about the M.A.N.
Congrats Harry, getting your sweetheart back. Your enthusiasm is contagious.
Iain and his team certainly have worked their magic, love that the piston company sent you a spare for your desk, and I've not mentioned your truck.
Love T’s garage! He’s the man. Such perfection is getting lost. Wicked craftsman. Amazing ambition and passion for cars. Thank our lucky stars for peeps like him. Rare he is....
Great video, love this car. Love the sun roof and can't wait to here the engine opened up once run in. Hopefully we see a nice continental road trip in the Espada in the future, it's the perfect classic romantic V12 GT.
Can you feel his emotions? I DO ! ! ! Thank you Harry! Now, let`s wait for that roadtrip only he knows where to, woohoo!
This collaboration has brought me so much joy and excitement. In these difficult times your videos are a very welcome distraction to just relax, follow your progress and listening to you two talk about this wonderful car. Thank you Harry and Ian!
I don't even know where to begin about Harry. Someone this knowledgeable, wealthy and connected and he takes us along. And also he drives his cars, even the really valuable ones. There aren't many people on this level willing to bring us along, Jay Leno maybe...
It is amazing how that roof looks totally open when he is driving.
It would be awesome to sit in the back seat for a drive through the mountains. That roof is epic.
The roof did pop up with the cabin pressure when he shut the door. Hope it copes with the aero load at speed. Sure it's fine!
Fantastic, lovely to see the enthusiasm and excitement of Harry getting his car back...a lovely bit of sunshine in a crazy world.
Lovely Rover Vitesse and 456 in the background. Looks like a superb workshop 👍
Just unpretentious joy. Just knowing that your pride and joy has been fettled, tweeked and lovingly put together by a real expert would be enough. The Lambo looks and sounds just fabulous.
This is engineering, restoration and presentation as a new art form, natural depth and lovely to watch.
Jeez he’s got a truck now, I’m even more jealous
Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant moment... hope to see another one with revs above 7000 ! What a beautiful yet elegant car. Thanks again.
A fabulous car , that has , and will give great joy not only to Harry Metcalfe but those who have enjoyed its recent restoration . Looking forward to future adventures .
Great to see an SD1 Vitesse getting the Tyrrell treatment , still one of my all time favourite cars , great looking , practical and fantastic sounding highly tunable engine , just a shame BL made them . I`d have a well sorted one tomorrow though .
Just a pile onto all the other comments, I'm looking forward to the full truck walk around and review video!
The engine is better than factory new. Upgraded components with modern metallurgy and tolerances! A thing of beauty and a work of engineering art! What a sound!
Cool car! Well done.
Everything from Ian's Rebuild of the engine and to collecting the car has been epic. These are two salt of the earth guys who enjoy their cars. THank you to all involved. The piston.manufacturers Carrillo epic
