There's a major flaw to your premise: Mythical Pokémon are a special group of Legendary Pokémon; not all Legends are Mythical, but all Mythics are Legendary.
"Legendaries" are capturable in-game while mythicals are not. Some mythicals become catchable later down the line in other titles. There is no capturable Bug-type legendary.
@@LeggerrrAndroid Partially right; Mythical Pokémon are are a subset of Legendary Pokémon that are generally not capturable in the mainline games during their debut title(s) without some sort of external interaction. They are still Legendary Pokémon, a status which reflects their power and/or role, but they are so uncommon that their very existence is questioned; a portion of the populace believes these Legendary Pokémon aren't real, and are nothing more than myths used to explain various unknown sightings or events. Genesect is a Mythical Pokémon, which means it is also a Legendary Pokémon.
@@TheWikiFool We're arguing semantics, but the point remains that there is no catchable legendary bug-type pokemon. Ultra Beasts don't count, even if there's circumstances where they've been classified as legendary or non-legendary. There's still a genuine argument that there is no "traditional" bug-type legendary pokemon. Genesect is a mythical. It is only obtainable through events and Mystery Gift. The added "legendary" does not help categorize this.
@@TheWikiFool How is it not? The video goes over both Genesect and the Ultra Beasts. It even goes over others. That's clearly the point here, even if not explicitly stated.
Mythicals ARE Legendaries! I don't care what anyone says, it's just a fact. Therefore, Genesect IS a Legendary. Plus, the Ultra Beasts totally count as Legendaries.
You can't catch mythicals in-game until generations later. It's better to use terms to separate the two instead of meaninglessly putting them together because "legendary" sounds cool.
Gamefreak added a literal dragonfly that was the most free dragon bug type and the snail legendary isnt a bug Y💀
