I know I'm late to this but I gotta say having Bey with Scharnhorst and Burke as inspiration making it an accuracy build slays other dds

Another great Video! For my German Destroyers I like to run the Von Spee build. Von Spee is my operating captain for the Torpedo Safari perk which increases the torp distance( have him Max lvl and Legendary 3). For inspirations I use Bey and Jerzy( Bey is Max rank/legendary 2 and Jerzy is rank 15/ legendary 1). As a result I have a Torp distance of 9.8k and a detection of 4.7-4.9 depending on which German destroyer I’m using from tier 5-7.

The beginning were difficult as you had a Jervis, a KUTUZOV , and an Atago I. Your flank.
I wonder if it would be more interesting to use Maiden to reduce turrets reverse and gun reload ?
Also thank you for mentioning that tid bit of covering your DD when they request fire support.

I wanted this one so i bought but a lot wait your review to buy.
Thou this ship is lack in dpm but it's a fun ship to troll. The good hydro allowed you to sneak up other destroyer in their smoke and that 150 mm caliber AP can surprise other cruiser when they show their broadside.

Is it worth spending the resources ? I have the vt-61 should I buy z-39 ? Is it worth it ? Is it the best tier 6 like the vt 61 ? For their 5 . Thanks love the vids. Been watching the destroyer vids and now I’m wrecking them !
My friend told me about this while I was at work. I hauled home and bought it immediately. Its a Z23 at T6 and I LOVE my shiny new DDs
Also running Leviathan is probably your best perk if you have excess standard battle booster flags
i like mine just having problems fight the fletcher and lighting
@@xaviermathis5391 those are gun boats brother and one tier higher tben you not gonna beat them in a straight up fight especially a fletcher. you need to take advantage of your 5km+ sonar range on them.

Yay! Another german destroyer!
Highly recommend using burke. Really makes all german ships more playable from an anti destroyer role. Running sims and burke on Erich bey. I'd like to think I do fairly well with that combo

I play the PC version. What happens when you have a Swedish DD, which has no smoke but has good concealment at 7.0 with a torp and gun range at 10.0, How would you play that?

Ok so I main DDs, after a break I come back and see this thing z39 forsale... Imho the T61 makes the z39 redundant. T61 torp reload is 47 seconds with my Commander setup for bey swirs and Tyrwitt I believe. Its 90 second base torp reload on z39...
I think the Sonar on the Z-39 is the real game changer but ya I have the T-61 as well. It's excellent.
I recently got this thing. Its great. I personally like it better than the Maas.

🤔 So it is mainly a gunboat? Though I still think t61 🥺 is the better tier for tier especially the 90 seconds trops reload on z39 is too much for me. What is your commander setup btw? I see u have some sixth sense to detect nearby ship 🤔🤔🤔
None of the German Captains have Twist and Track which shows the direction of the nearest ship. What you saw was an indicator when long range incoming fire is headed your way. Gives you a chance to turn and avoid the shots

Bey has twist and track. The commander build is in the opening seconds of the game

Yep
Its a very powerful ship and imo the Cossack and Kidd aren't worth it as soon as I read 4x1 I changed my mind about buying either. If CVs were part of the game I'd consider those two because increased AA defense but running with 4 less torps then everyone else is like fighting with an arm tied behind your back

I'd rather they did quality of life updates but we all know that's never gonna happen

Bad buy. Only redeeming quality is stealth. Guns are pretty useless when confronted by other destroyers. If you own a t61 you might regret the ressources spent on this one.
