I hope carriers aren't a thing but people forget that AA is useful still since there are Spotting Planes.
The Cossack and the Kidd are gun boats so the AA helps quickly eliminate spotting planes, allowing concealment to set up salvos.
This ship did peek my interest when it came out,mostly for the looks,personally I’m pretty mediocre with destroyers and my best destroyer is t5 all be it I’m working up to the German and Japanese t5 destroyers while I have the icarus and gnevy.btw Spartan I can’t wait for you to finish the french cruiser line.Im currently on the la galissoniere but I really enjoy the ship,the fireeee,and am working towards the Algerie along with the hipper

Sparton my dude z-39 is a little monster of a tin can , when played right it can really mess up the enemy team , and when you run into another destroyer you can bloody def stick em 😊😂

I mean on PC there not bad. Idk how as a dd you deal with them on console since you can't turn your AA guns off. And there's no universal concealment skill/module for DD.
And no DAAF consumable to help shoot planes down. All of which PC has. So ya they have to do some serious work to add CV to legends
They just should make 2 game modes🤔

The devs had said that they haven’t made a decision on whether they’ll add carriers or not. They said that they wanted to balance the other 3 classes before they put in a 4th class. They said they’d let us know by Q2 2020 at the earliest
I just had my best game in a dd so far in my akatsuki. 4 kills 100000 dmg almost a kraken but kill got stolen on the last sec. My god I'm starting to love destroyers...
Played my first Standard Battle in months earlier in my Isokaze, we won, killed 2 ships and I basically harried the Red Kamikaze till our team killed him!!!
Nice i prefer standard battles for the challenge as AI are too easy

I don’t feel like the maps are large enough for carriers .
The maps are actually the same size as in PC but the spawn points are closer

Maps not big enough for PC I gather from comments I have read, so same size is probably still too small.
@@kurtru5selcrowe607 if you check the starting positions on pc there is usually a ship in the shipyard at the top of the map that’s how far back they are

Yeah notice more AA guns on ships lately so looks like carriers will be in the game.....probably just after some of the ships in bureau been completed, it's the Subs on pc version that will probably kill off WoW legends though...just seen a video of a pc player and 4 battleships were bots in his team.
I'm hoping them removing AA rating means we never get carriers. Subs look like an absolute joke and I hope I never encounter either

1 2x turret in front. 2 1x turrets in back. Upgraded AA mount improvments removed one. Does this come stock with 2 in front if ship upgrade for Hull is left undone?

No joke, Spartan. If Carriers come to legends, likely starting at tier 3, that means everything tier 2 and up will be obsolete. It's official, fun will be gone!!

Since you're going with a torpedo build I would use the skill that increases torpedo range.
P.s. I really really hope aircraft carriers aren't coming anytime soon. Good news is I don't think they are.

@@nidelcarter3568 their gameplay is lame. If the gameplay was like Battlestations:Midway/Pacific it wouldn't be that bad (and the same goes for submarine gameplay). But World of Warships is nothing like that game.
I am of the mind, if it ain't broke don't fix it. The game is amazing the way it is. It has the tried-and-true triangle combat system(eg. rock, paper, scissors). I believe if carriers were such a great part of the pc version then they would have made the jump to console.
From my experience, most of the people that keep begging Wargaming for carriers seem to be casual players. The grass is always greener, people always want what they don't have.
Wargaming is all about finding new ways to monetize their game, so if Wargaming hasn't put carriers in the game there's probably a damn good reason lol

From my understanding, most German warships are considered girls except for the Bismarck because german command thought it would be insulting to its presence and power. If there are any others refered to as male, I couldn’t find it 😅
Graff Spee and Admiral Hipper are both named after commanders

Iv gone for bey as my commander just for twist and track with sims as an inspiration got mine up to 22,000 hit points. Way better than the cossack! And please no carriers it will ruin the game
The expense of the higher tiers already makes this game difficult enough. Console does not have to have the same as PC!

Bring on carriers and subs for Legends. I am sure they will bring carriers for the PS5 and Xbox equivalent. Would be nice if Wargaming added keyboard and mouse support like Warthunder for consoles.
Tessting these subs on PC at the moment. Fun...not so for BB"s.

yeah it was.. but still watchable and understandable
KMS DD AP is so good you can do massive chunks of damage to DD and consistent damage to them with the 127mm if they show you the side. The 150mm are great for chunking any BB or CA/CL that gives you side and at semi close range you can citadel them. There a lot harder to use since you HE is so weak you have try and get the sides of ships to smack them with your AP
I played for 2.5 hours tonight and couldnt even complete my bureau challenges because my teams, all night, were a bunch of monkeys =/ I was last one alive 80% of my matches. Any tips on how to counter bad teammates? I try to play more passive, doesnt work. I try to play more aggressive. Doesnt work. So frustrating!
For bureau I highly recommend doing them in AI battles much easier and quicker

What would be the point of adding Carriers, if only the Premium (Payed) Destroyers have the best AA? Either they Buff AA entirely or make Carriers Tier 6/7

Only time will tell. They are a tough game mechanic to balance but they are coming so we can only wait to find out.
@@SpartanElite43 thank you for the reply I hope that they won't break the game it will probably change the meta tho from everybody using destroyers to everybody trying to use carriers and then nobody protecting the carriers but as you said time will tell on that
@@Incrediblebowlesmodels Carriers will almost certainly be limited to no more than 2 per side maybe even a single carrier per team. So queue times for carriers will likely be high. They are so powerful that even a single carrier can tip the balance of a game considerably.

Personally, I don't find the Premium DDs to really be much of an improvement over their Tech Tree equivalent. Got all Tech Tree Tier 6 DDs except Russians and my only Tier 7 is the Fletcher....all fine Ships but the gameplay at Tiers 6 and 7 is really disappointing and find Tiers 3 to 5 way more fun and BBs that actually fight!!!

@@SpartanElite43 I use the Cv's In the PC version..always get up to 4 kills when I cross the target with my planes.. Would be different I think in console version since the maps r smaller..

Nice game Spartan! Have you ever tried out the torpedo Safari with Spee? It will increase your range up to 9.8k. I prefer that over the reload time. Also if you’re bored check out my channel for a few 6 kill over 100k games I’ve had.

Well honestly I don't mind carriers I was long as there balanced and believe it or not once upon a time they were on PC until there were many many cry babies and then wargaming got mad and literally Buffed to Oblivion the Nerf tituba living and then Buffett again like what? But they clearly stated in the may stream that whenever new content is coming they want to make sure it's balanced and not broken and so far they've been good at it's including the Russian ships but in my belief is they should do a test with aircraft carriers, like with the dude with the test of legendary to your last year such as let's say Enterprise everybody doing a challenge gets the enterprising could use her in game and see how will that go once that happens you can collect a feedback and do some tweaks and then they could release the carriers which am I guess being a new class I think it will be two countries having them and then in a while later the UK that is why they picked USA Japan in UK win the game came out because those are the only three nations with any carriers with service in the first half of the 20th century which disc game is based off of and the Germans will they have the Graf Zeppelin 85% complete so that could be a premium but they need to do a test first public text I really like that and they should do it again every time they going to add something very new
Guns are not Op plus the the torpedoes are lacking.
I sunk 7 torpedoes into a JB in which it sailed by fighting on, terrible is a much better DD in the same tier that is also a premium

Cruisers are next to useless without aircraft to shoot down. Practically the only reason cruisers are viable is to screen other ships from air attack

Think carriers will make people play as a team because they will have too at at point. If you go out by yourself you'll die by herself. Stop playing world of warships like Call of Duty 1st person shooter.

Carriers will force teams to be TEAMS.
BB players will begging cruisers to hang around for the AA protection.
Jean Barts cant just park in the back and lob shells all day OR YOLO across the map.
All of a sudden my Baltimore is going to be in demand by BB players.
Or spoken like someone who already gets focused and has no team mates and suddenly a carrier would allow a player to sit in the back and carry a match.... with planes that don't care about flak... sounds fun.
Carriers will not suddenly make these potatoes become teammates it simply means that players who already have to deal with being the only ship vs entire enemy teams will have to deal with the most broken class in ships period

You're right, carriers won't fix Potatoes that lots of people are teamed up with.
But it sure as hell will fix the "I'm just gonna park my BB on the edge of the map and Nuke any Cruiser that comes into range cuz they can't do shiat back.
People will start Divisioning up or at least make somewhat of a team.
I know with planes my Baltimore will in demand by Iowa's and others.
DD's are going to have a hard go at it.
@@kefka1911 Balti only has to fear 16 inch guns now and with extended range you can get 19km range and hit BBs back with plunging AP citadels
Kefka carriers will be sometime off unless they want to kill this game before xmas

I feel ripped off the game doesn't have these as a bonus F-U Surprise to YOLOING ships.
Carriers are the reason I quit playing on PC. They ruin the game.
