Yeah British and Japanese Bbs are very good with Removing DDs with a single salvo of HE

@@SpartanElite43 I have not gone through the british line yet but japense he smacks I removed a yaduchi with my iowa using he. Have you ever got citidals with he before I don't remember what ship I was using but had he loaded and got citidals
Exactly the best kind of feeling. I deleted a full health chapayev and Jarvis in one salvo each still died but the rush one gets was worth it.
@@Incrediblebowlesmodels you can citadel things like the Omaha, danae and emerald anything with very little armour can still be citadelled with HE from a BB if you hit right
The reload time...it actually does make sense, but not for balance or anything like that. It's verisimilitude. The Brit quad 14" turrets had reload issues. This was exotic technology for the time and it entailed tradeoffs with shell handling in exchange for more firepower on a shorter citadel so you could add more armor. Triples had the same issues vs. doubles, but by the time of WW2 that was mostly--mostly--worked out. Quads were a different story.
Yeah I figured it was something like that as you see twin turrets are usually easier to reload than trips and trips easier than quads so it makes sense.

@@CharlieyT95 Oh ha really? The stat is only like 66 or something, which isn’t too high. Also if you want ridiculous AA on a British ship at T6, just get Cheshire, it completely melts planes. 🤷♂️

@@CharlieyT95 I got my current record for planes shot down yesterday with 27 and a bunch more with at least 20 in the Cheshire since I bought it yesterday, so yeah, it’s pretty good.
@@sirsporty6556 Yeah I wasn't expecting Cheshire to have such good AA. Same thing as Vanguard they just tears through planes

I catadeled a BB with HE from Nelson the other day. It was great.
That's why I love the Orion. Being able to delete cruisers with HE citadels
I’ve been experimenting with different builds and I concur that Azur Lane Nelson is the way to go regarding the primary commander slot along with Cunningham...BUT...what I did was add du Fournet (France)for additional HE pyromania, and I immediately noticed an improvement in setting fires.
First HE salvo destroyed a full health destroyer. Second salvo started two fires on a Sinop which burned for awhile setting me up for
a citadel/kill with an AP salvo.
This ship can be quite effective if used this way. The Duke of York appears to be designed as a proverbial hell-fire blow torch 1st, and AP 2nd.
I don’t see much love for the Jack-of-all-trade commanders lately and yet they are available to be utilized.

Hey spartan, did you know duke of york has a secret trait of improved AP angles like american heavy cruisers? You might not see it on heavy armor angles due to her lack of pen, low caliber guns, and AP fuse time. but It’s good to know because it may come in handy.

I had a dd follow me around the entire map earlier (can't remember which map) in my Colorado. Legit from one end to the other. Popping his smoke next to me any time I stopped or slowed down. It was nice having a solid escort like that and I DID hit my highest damage game on that one but wtf. His smoke kept messing my acquisition up and he was useless besides 😂😂

It doesn’t show in the stats, but the AA difference between the two will be substantial. On PC, the KGV is more susceptible to planes.
Yeah I was thinking the same but because I don't have a reference I just left that out.
Why does the KGV have a 4.5 second faster reload?
Got Lyon yestarday and it’s op bro it destroys battle ships like nothing if you can aim 16 French magical so with a very good ballistic trajectory apparently destroys hex Mexico’s king George queen Elizabeth warspite fuso nagato and Colorado lol it’s sooo good
I wish you could of done a little history of the ship since it was with the hms hood when it was sunk by the kms Bismarck and the kms Prince Eugen

I’ve been buying a few ships recently and I have one question would you recommend the Scharnhorst or this ship and I also noticed that you obliterated the Scharnhorst with the Duke of york

Big sad for me as well.
I just realized we have so many things that change our guns and how they affect but we have nothing to really change how other people's guns affect our arms except for reduced damage can we have something that increases the likelihood of a ricochet on your own ship farmer I don't know if it would be overpowered but I feel like you could balance it even if it was because you still have he you always have he and like we can always minimize the damage for he but we don't really have anything to minimize damage on a p shells other than like just all around minimizing the damage of other people's shells or increasing the dispersion when they're aiming at us but like I want to actually do something about AP damage cuz there's certain ships that I just need a few more degrees of angle so I can get like that back gun to fire but if I do that they can make it through my armor and it won't be a ricochet anymore so if they could just give a skill that could allow me to do that that way I can get all guns on target without taking a s*** ton of damage that would be the best I mainly thinking about certain ships for example like the US line battleships have good side armor but like not good enough where it just bounces everything as well as the later German battleships like they have good side armor and good frontal armor but if you want to really use like your real guns on the Bismarck you can get citadel by other battleships pretty damn easily long as they are at long range so I just want to be able to you know get all the guns fighting without having that much damage being done to me and instantly sending me back to Port although I will admit it's one of the higher tier skill gaps that is at for the German battleships because a lot of the noobs will get all the guns fine and then realize oh snap I'm back at the port

Sounds like based on relode time alone KGV beats Duke of york. Like the camo, however nelson has a 30 sec reload time and does more damage both he and ap.
Hopefully we can get the Battle of North Cape map

@@joelgallegos09 she’s doing alright for now, not squeezing too much damage out of her just yet but hopefully I’ll get a grip on how to play what is essentially an oversized cruiser 😂
@@connoroneill9406 You have to play a semi long - mid range with her using her high speed to your advantage in kiting away or towards only show broadside when necessary. I have her at 37.2 knots and I avg 90-130k a game.

@@TeddyTurtle-qk1jf I mean, doesn’t really make sense I’ll be honest with you, if you notice, the tech tree ships are all classes of ship, the premiums are all specific ships that are historically known for one thing or another
Today, I learned that my Warspite guns can be taken out... Got really sad as I was tanking rounds and my number 2 turret just died... (Also, Hi Spartan!!)
Yep any guns or modules such as AA or Torps can be destroyed

It has better AP shells than the KGV. I bought the Duke and there is a difference
The hydro however is just a waste due to there being only one charge and if im correct the Duke also has better accuracy
@@joelgallegos09 fair points tho I could tell between the port stats other that the reload being worse and hydro to which didn't impress me nor just this over the kg5 imo.

Speaking as that now we have two KGV class battleships I really doubt it.
Wg at most only do two ships of the same class one lead ship and one famous only exception is the south-Dakota class BBs or if the third is converted like Yamato musashi and shinano (CV)

I have used the AP and it is decent but the HE gives just as much damage per salvo and sets fires so unless it is a cruiser or a flat broadside of a BB I will be using HE

Increases the dmg of both shell types in the circle but the downside is dispersion takes a small hit.
