Love to watch you play,win or lose. I have built some of these ships (plastic models). The digital forms seem to be pretty accurate. I have the Arizona on the shelf now. It is a funny thought that in my youth I had friends that would play these kind of games with models in a back yard,each side had a base to defend! Used rubber band guns and differrent size fish weights for salvos! That was the sixties! Now that the digital age is here,you can play sitting in air conditioning and not destroy your favorite model!

Not it technically isn’t a battlecruiser or a pocket battleship. It’s technically a panzershiff, or armored ship. This was the German designation during the reichsmarine and in the following weirmar Republic for Battleship. It was built to replace the German pre dreadnoughts which had comparable armament and size and weight. However it was faster, this is why the British called it a pocket battleship.
I love this ship too. I saw all the talk before it was released about how it sucks on pc and it’s an experts ship, not forgiving at all (as if any cruisers are) etc and I bought it anyways. I love it being tier 5 too, that’s like a sweet spot for gameplay.
It is good at being the pusher just gotta watch going broadside

I use the Sharnhorst as a battering ram! The thing is meant to go balls deep! I adjusted my commander to be a blend of tank and accuracy. Last night I killed 2 Amagis by charging them and torping them. The secondaries light them on fire and the torps floor them out.
I may have to revisit the Scharnhorst
Still love this ship. I set her up for speed and agility. You have to remember that she’s a cruiser with small battleship guns and good torpedoes. Try to stay away from gunfights with battleships, and hunt down cruisers. I’ve had tons of really good games in her, but if you show your broadside much, you will be deleted like any other cruiser.

I like this ship. Its not OP but you can have some fun with it.
I run an AP damage accuracy build.( Lutjens and Scot) Muller as primary.
It needs some max speed so it can bug out if its to hot.
Quad torps is nice but I don't like putting anything into it.
Great review! I was strongly considering buying this ship, but I've fallen behind on the grind for Tirpitz, so I'll more than likely have to pay out the remainder of the challenge. Only so many doubloons to go around.

You can be aggressive just gotta watch out for those 203mm guns
Farragut only has 2x4 torpedoes and it has a long reload time compared to the other DDs of its tier, like 88 seconds I think.
has faster firing guns snd great fro ambushes the torps do decent damage
@@zzirSnipzz1 her torps are slow and their range is shorter than her detection range so in order to use them you have to get spotted.
Her guns make her a great DD killer but her torps are really only good for BB ambushes.
@@Volksgenossen ambush, or shoot torps at a bb thats coming towards you they will run into them have done that two years ago, even took out a kongo by using islands to get my emerald into range and he ran into a giant torp salvo

i have to add that the most dangerous thing you encounter with the Graf Spee are DDs with long range torpedos! Thats why i use Lütjens as a commander. I tried Müller but i always got torped and with Lütjens that does not happen that often anymore because you can increase your sonar range +1200m for torpedos.

Ok the bow on is not always a bad thing against DD's Torpedo Beats is a thing even in a BB and sometimes the idea is picking how many torps you do end up eating.

Too be honest I'm just about to try it then to save for upgrades, great video nice German ship, I don't have a premium account so won't be getting it yet, I did pay for a battleship game on mobile until they did a update once and made the rockets etc look cartoon ish.
This game looks great, can be better in graphics, but it's ok

You made this video a while ago so I hope you see my comment....try this build and tell me what you think. I use a unorthodox build with this ship and im loving it so far. Run otto ciliax on it yes I understand he is a battleship commander, but man the secondaries aren't that bad so I use ottos secondary buffs with hipper as a inspiration taking your secondarys to 6.1km which isn't bad at tier 5... and other inspiration being john jellicoe to further buff your heal ..then I use all of ottos survivability skills....a good days work,firefighter,and master mechanic, with will to rebuild as a legend skill.....I do the same thing you do I rush and shove it right down their faces, with otto you become very very tanky with really decent secondary action you should try it man really really fun......i have a couple unorthodox builds but im only willing to share this one lol the others are to op and I dont want them nerfed lol.
I may get this ship..as the kreigsmarine are the only ship lines i have success with. Idk if that's a thing.
Like i thought i was just bad at destroyers cause i kept dying in the japan line destroyers while having really good games in the german destroyers..i think the battering ram play style is what the german ships tend to be about and i think that is my play style..all the ships can take hits and i love to brawl.
It's all about finding what works for you! Fun fact is that varies for everyone
Im not sure if you tried the german destroyers yet would be interested to see ur take.
My impression to me is they can do alittle of everything while being able to take some hits.
The concealment is pretty good too. My current tier is at 99.
Edit: actually u mention the bigger health pool in one of ur videos which is how i decided to give em a shot.

Kamikaze for destroyer, Atlanta/Graf Spee for cruiser, Battleships could be several though I've not got them all, Warspite, Texas, Arizona, or Scharhorst all are good

Probably a low tier ship like tier 4 omaha or konigsberg
Scharnhorst has been the best for me. Usually average between 300k to over 500k a game sometimes lol
Andreas Müller Atlanta works for me. Easily do 300-400k

I am beginning to think that all the fun is at tier 5. I play my Belfast for cash. But games with six T7s when you are a T6 cruiser can be brutal.

The problem with his prenounciation is that says it as if it was 'SPE' it's 'SPEE' his prenounciation is to short. Fun fact the Graf Spee was the last ship in the class and the first sunk in the class(then Deutschland(Lützow) and last the Admiral Scheer).Hope you like water on the Spee,it's got quite a bit of salt.

I personally like the De Grasse, but if you want a premium worth the money go with Warspite. Very accurate and quite nimble for a battleship.

The Graf and SH guns were never big enough. Believe they were not even a 12 inch gun. Compared to the 12 14 and 16 inch guns they went up against. See you in a match soon foolproofscroll
283mm just lack the punch needed to hurt BBs consistently
In WWI, the Germans had quite good 11in guns (283mm)...the ballistics were a close match to the u.s. and British 12inch...
The Panzerschiffe (literally "armored ships") of the Deutschland class were intended to operate on their own, and outgun what they couldn't outrun. They encounter a convoy with a cruiser covering force, they can engage...they encounter one of the Revenge class with 8 15inch guns...they ring up 28 knots and look for a different convoy...
They created quite a stir in the Royal Navy, since the only ships that could catch them AND outgun them were the Hood, Renown, and Repulse...
Air power and torpedoes altered the equation in the war, but before it started, these 3 ships were quite a theoretical challenge for the RN...

Is a heavy cruiser not a battle cruiser
Battle Cruisers Historically were Cruisers Armed with Battleship Caliber guns so Basically 10 inch guns and bigger but not as much armor as battleships because they were built for speed and firepower and had to compromise
