Is it just me or does Donna seem like she's on a permanent Acid Trip!!! Baahahaha!!... She has more energy than a damn Toddler eating candy!!! Ohhh Lawt-A-Mercy!!! I need a Nap after watching THIS Episode!! Donna done worn me out!! Hahahaha 😅
It came together because of Paulette. I would feel so much safer around her structure and maturity. Pam probably turned out well because she was forced into an adult role as a child. Donna needs a daycare.
A person can not expect people to pay thousands of dollars to fly to Guiana for a couple days ⁉️
I agree, this young lady is the way she is thanks to herself! I feel bad for the Groom’s Mother as she’s the one who pulled it off. Makes sense now why the bride was so upset before flying to her destination, she knew her Momma couldn’t and WOULDN’T put it together. Hope the Groom’s Mom gets the credit because we all see who made it successful
Maybe she has undiagnosed ADD? Whatever she has keeps her from focusing on real decisions.

Donna is fun and did well to put up with ALL Paulette's peevishness
Paulette did well with deciding what compromises would be made, it was more classy and made everyone happy.
On the other hand, she didn't do well when she decided to have a religious wedding and ethnic wedding.
She is too centered on herself, her preferences, her needs...It's egocentric.
Religion, culture, ethnicity...shouldn't be imposed. It's considered very disrespectful to people, cultures, religions, ethnicities, etc.People can easily get uncomfortable. People can easily get offended.
Also, when she lost, she was worried about telling everybody that she has lost....Shebis too ambitious and childrish.

The brides mother is absolutely ridiculous and annoying!! She’s behaving like a clown wth?? She needs psychological intervention. What a nightmare!! I feel sorry for the grooms mother who’s a really classy and intelligent woman

in all the episodes I watch...the mothers hardly think about what there kids would like..its my vision. .that's it
In Paulette's defense her son DOES want a Guyanese wedding and want to Guyana to get married. Plus at least Paulette is organized and responsible, which is better than nothing.

I like the idea of the show--helping a young couple put together a wedding. I don't like all of the negative energy. If this was happening to me I would say to just elope or choose not to get married. It would be nice to see 2 mothers actually co-operate for the sake of their children. It always feels as if the mother's don't care about their children. They are always selfish, belligerent & obnoxious. What if they actually cared abut what their kids might want? What if the "winner" wanted to have the "loser" feel respected & included? What if the kids could relax a bit & not be terrified of what is being created?

The groom wasn't honest in his decision. He knew what the bride mother wanted.
Exactly. He literally said "I want a traditional Guyanese wedding" at the beginning and his mom delivered just that. I would not have been okay with choosing the party designed by an 8 year old who was never allowed to have candy.
If there's a wedding planner that is supposed to execute "the vision," how come there's no one on her staff to do the work?!

I agree - the bride's beauty shows best in a simple gown, too much decor leads to that the dress is the main object, not the bride.
I liked the 2nd one better. She seemed to like it too in the blindfold.
I think that girl would look amazing in a potato sack she’s beautiful. That being said I thought the first one was kinda ugly and didn’t do her frame justice. The second def fit a bit better IMO

Madness! The bride"' mother didn't pull off a thing! The grooms mother did all the work and it would have been even more tacky if she didn't help. The dress and the rum cake as well as the messages in the bottle were the only things that were good about this weeding. What a mess!

I am absolutely disgusted that in the internet age, no-one on this show bothered to look at where Guyana is. It's NOT a freaking island! It is on the northern part of South America! Donna is way too irresponsible and childish! Paulette should have let the hotel bake the cake! They would definitely have iced it!

Okay, tell me that these couples are truly taken aback when they hear one of their mom's is going to plan the weddings. This is one reason that these "reality" shows are pretty rediculous and have many facets of "fakeness and irritants"

Probably divorced by now! My parents have been married 60 years! Me, 9, together for 17 years and now getting divorced! Life is wonderful again! I wont get hit anymore....I will say they are a beautiful couple!!

I. Would've. Eloped. The fact Donna was being so nonchalant about the wedding preparations (and everyone's feelings about those ugly mask); would make me think she doesn't want to see me get married. It's like she's just wanting a reason to party.
