- Kevin and Sandra prove Internet dating can lead to true love, and now they are ready to wed. Sandra’s mom, Aggie, is a Jewish-Hungarian rebel who loves to party. Kevin’s mom, Shirley-Anne, is all about tradition and keeping the faith. It’s Hollywood glam vs. kosher observance as Aggie pushes for a boozy red-carpet soiree, while Shirley-Anne fights for a Synagogue wedding and buttoned-down brunch.
A must-see wedding show with a fantastic twist, In Law Wedding Wars is the all-new series where soon-to-be-weds hand over total control of their big day to one of their mothers! How things turn out is anyone’s guess. But with family tension and tantrums aplenty, will this story have a fairy tale ending? Hosted by wedding planner extraordinaire, Gina Sole.

I wish they would give the couple a third option, where the wedding planner tries to combines the two themes. I feel this would make it to where the moms have to work together and there is now power trips to be had. Like they could've had the traditional wedding then then an old Hollywood themed party w/ a buffet with options for everyone.
I agree
Agreed most could easily be blended with focus more to winner. Like this could have traditional ceremony with classic music then Hollywood reception with kosher options so everyone can eat. Bride could have 2 dresses or removal balero to cover for ceremony
True.
But that's what they end up doing anyway, they blend different cultures at the end of the day, otherwise these weddings simply will not happen. I think the winner takes all talk at the beginning is just for the entertainment ( which I think is a waste of time since they end up blending both visions at the end)
Yes that way both would be represented
Than it would be a complete different production …..it would be nice though!
Ladies, always steer clear of a Mama’s boy!😂
Run Kevin, RUN!
The mothers need to understand this is not their wedding!
Oh for goodness sake... I don't understand why they can't mix a little bit of both. And if my husband were a traditional jewish I would like to add some of his likings at the wedding to make him happy.
Absolutely ❤
When the bride‘s mom said that the grooms mother’s wedding fantasy would’ve been the most boring wedding ever I had to laugh. Clearly she has never been to a mennonite wedding!!!
Sandra's mother is hilarious.
I prefer a simple small ceremony, a meaningful wedding. Love should be most important, not staging a play.
Totally agree. It is not an event, it is a WEDDING. The bride and her mother forget that.
Good for you, others want to celebrate. Its what works for each couple. Jewish weddings usually give Italian weddings a run in size, food and dancing.
Agree100% ❤❤❤
I think having Moms in charge of your wedding, no matter how different their vision is, may be better than having just the Groom decide like on the "Don't Tell The Bride" series.
It's a good thing that the bride's mother won. She knows what her daughter likes and she's hilarious too.
This is so staged it's comical
😂😂😂 yes, I agree. The bride happens to have on the same color belt as the jacket. Once you watch a few episodes you can see how staged it is..... But, I keep watching 😊
Nah I think they're just being toxic
This worked out beautifully. The most important component of a marriage is the ceremony. The reception should be a party. Idk why these mothers can't respect each other's feelings from the beginning. Congratulations to all.
Because it is a tv show and drama brings the audience. If there is no war they would have to change the name.
@@gwens5093 That was more of a rhetorical musing...
@Eni Beni I'm referring to the ceremony, not the relationship. If religion is important to one of the people getting married, I believe that their wishes should be honored. I was married by a Judge. If my husband had felt strongly that he wanted clergy involved, that would have been fine. Personally, I'm not a proponent of organized religion, and I still respect those you are connected to it.
This bride is so demanding and over the top! Demanding to be tucked in bed every night… that is something little kids need, NOT grown women. smh. I am surprised that he went through with the marriage, but I wish them all the best.
I just started watching....feeling so sorry for the groom. All the ladies is overboard
Sometimes older people forget that their kids are in a different generation and have their own visions.
They should've given the option to have the rabbi share his idea of the combination of the two.
I'm sorry, but the bride's mother is hilarious. Her one-liners are something else. I see where her daughter gets it from. She deserves her own show.
Omg I love Aggie she is so fun. I understand tradition but it wasn't what the couple wanted at all. The groom just wanted to make his mother happy.
The groom is a mama's boy and I feel sorry for the bride. At the onset he didn't want traditional and should of been firm but respectful to his mom because his mom isn't his wife.
She's hilarious, and she's in tune with what her daughter likes. The groom is a mama's boy, and his mother's idea says "Whose funeral is it?" I'm sorry, but it says that and I agree with the bride.
This poor guy is in for a lifetime of nagging
This does not bode well for their future.Sorry for the guy.
I mean the hoopa yes but shouldnt have given her anything else.
Shirley was on a mission from day 1
Gina shouldn't have given her anything other than the chuppah. As soon as that happened, Shirley Anne wanted to see what she could get away with from the first 15 minutes. As soon as she heard that Aggie was sick, she stepped up, but she was trying to see how she could override. Was Aggie probably fibbing about being sick because she didn't like the possibility of Shirley Anne getting her way? Maybe.
Getting married in a synagogue or shul is actually specifically NOT a Jewish custom. Specifically because it is a Christian custom we try to avoid getting married in a shul. The best way traditionally is outdoors under a chupa. If it’s indoors it’s usually under a specially made open skylight that is above the chuppah
Rabbi Grover,spot on!
His idea was genius. I guarantee he knows the family inside and out, and he knows that the groom's mom is a bulldog. Also, his one-liners weren't too bad.
Being Jewish this hurt my brain. So many things were done wrong and so many things were described wrong. Glad to see Jewish weddings shown on the show but make it correct
One of the best episodes yet
Where are the fathers in all this?
Their ideas probably really suck.
The bride is a total 🤬
He is make a BIG MISTAKE to marry her... Good luck
Yes, her vibe came across as witchy.
I agree. The bride is so much like her Mom.
I could never not be part of my wedding
Lol the rabbi 😅😅😅😅😅
loved this episode
I just started watching ….This has “break up the family” all over it.
Aggie got sick she is allergic to work.
She was probably fibbing because she didn't want to see Kevin's mom getting her way. Maybe she was, maybe she wasn't.
This is another dress from what her mother choose
I love the reality Rabbi
Scripted but entertaining
The bride is acting like a bridezilla. But in the end, everyone came together and enjoyed each others ideas.
its her day and of course shes gonna act like that.
WOW. Brave move for Bride and Groom!
The fact that they allow concessions when the “losing” moms throw fits is infuriating. Makes it unwatchable…such a shame.
Damn poor guy.... Sorry to say but this girl is scary 😱 to deal with
The guy Kevin went is funny.
Not only a bridezilla but also a b.!
Can’t find any updates for any of these couples from show in 2011
The food all looks so yummy shes just mad shes not the boss
I do not think this marriage will last the bride is such a domineering person marriage is give and take she is so spoilt
I couldn't hand over the arrangements and my dress to anyone, even for '15' minutes of fame as they say...
where tf do they find these ppl, I LOVE these couples. all of them. even the moms. Aggie sent me, shes too much I love her. I agree its kinda messed up theres only two options
Well i like the bride, she's the truth...
I love that bride cover her shoulders to show respect to her husband Jewish faith
I love Aggie.
She's her own species.
Every one wants his parents way.
I wanted to say the acting is terrible. I can't believe them.
That wedding dress is horrible.
violins how sleepfull
Just go down to the courthouse and get married. Have a vow renewal later.
The best relations with your mother in laws is to live far far away from each other.👍😊
The groom needs a say
That's the worst wedding dress ever🤣
Hopefully grandchildren are not in their future!
Bride's mom out of order, she only played power games...not to forward one step to the groom's mom...ugly behavior...for the dress she went to her daughter...
this bride is trying to be something more than selfish ... and not knowing the word “ giving the benefit of the doubts ”..
Shame on this bride ...!!!
so disrespect....
I hate branch weddings
Respect peoples religions and cultures
ios kosher. mamas boy whimp
He is a mama's boy.
I dont think that was fair to the mom they chose
lilys are for death
I'm sorry, but Shirley Anne's vision says "Who died?"
Most scripted really show that I have ever seen
Clearly the planner isn't comfortable with the Jewish religion and its traditions. Watch her face when she listens to the groom's mother...
Why is the bride wearing that awful tan jacket on top of her dress? Wtf???
His mom is a nightmare
Her vision looks like it's for a funeral. It really does say, "Who died?"
RUN KEVIN RUN!!!
The bride need to be a respectful at the groom mom
The bride is so fake omg and treats her husband awful I hope she changes
Dress with long slèeves and high neck. So old fashioned. Not for this bride.
dont marry him!!!!!!!!!1
Sandra's so pretty
She needs to sack her hairdresser
The bride looks like a man!
