I'm 75 and have started doing these exercises. I worked parallel bars in high school (50+ years ago) and it was easy then. Have mainly used weightlifting since then. WEIGHTLIFTING SUCKS. You won't realize how many muscles weightlifting MISSES until you start doing some gymnastics work like this. All those squats I used to do MEANT NOTHING when I started running and biking. It was as if I had never exercised my legs at all.
23 and started off and on training around late HS, you’re absolutely right about weightlifting sucking. I prefer gym rings, resistance bands, and parallel bar work. It’s all I’ll ever need along with mix of jumprope, running, walking, rucking, and my favorite: sprinting.
Thanks for an amazing video. Really motivational. I have recently uploaded a video on making these Parallettes at home. Next i'm going to try some of your moves on them !!!! Peace !!!
Q: Was looking on your website and you sell / recommend the Ultimate Body Press Parallettes. Found them on amazon but they have a metal (on your website) and wood version (cost $5 more). Which do you recommend? Thx in advance. Very excited about doing more of your guys awesome routinues!
Can you guys please do a tutorial on grip? Both a friend and I started training parallettes and both have thumb pain! Any tips or ideas with what we're doing wrong? Mine is only my dominant hand.

Google "Valkyrie Parallel Bars" for EXCELLENT Parallel bars. Just got mine through the post and they are by far the best. A little bit expensive but well worth it.
Is it only me or are these positions way too difficult for beginners? I consider myself quite fit and strong but these are very difficult or impossible for me as a beginner to parallettes. Do you have a video of easier moves to begin with?

Daniel Cuahuey no thats wrong. You cant start on any apparatus you want just because you feel like it. You need to build the prerequisite strength

Quick question. What would you recommend for a progression standard in each exercise? 10 reps? 15 reps?
Hey,
Hi guys,
- which parallettes do you recommend? which are the best one. Is wood better than metal?
Very good.
hey dude thanks. Where can I buy or build equipment like that.
If I had to choose between getting a pair of parallettes vs a set of dips bar such as the lebert equaliser, which would you suggest?
Oops also how many reps would you do? Thanks for ur responds ....from California !!
Just started these post cervical fusion surgery after being released from physical rehab. I thought I was strong... I was dead wrong.

Enjoy!!! ear2thabeat.com
I wish my right elbow would stop hurting from doing these things :(
Whoa! Steam engine!
My quads ache when I try the straddle sit. Why is that?
a bit late, but I saw somewhere it might be because of weak hip flexors, so your quads take over
songg???
And next month you will get full planche
I can't even do the basics...
the next step wont happen to me
would love to know the song.

i can just about keep my feet off the floor for ten seconds at a time.
Parallettes are so fucking expensive for no reason. The cheapest pair I could find was $40.

Definitely not for beginners, no way, how long have you gents been doing calisthenics, since your teens or before that even?
These can't be beginner exercises
"beginners"
This isn’t for beginners
These are NOT beginner exercises. Seriously!
It's parallette training for beginners. To start with serious parallette training you already need some basic strength.
Beginners? Don't think so
Beginners when it comes to Parallette Strength Training. Not in general.
GTFOH
Yes. Not suitable for beginners.
wow very secluded place Germany is notorious for caniballs and killers who consume human flesh you should be careful!!!!!!!
