Great point, Arthur. You hardly see guys wearing nice watches anymore, so that would definitely be an underrated item with a big impact.
I agree with respect to fun socks, unless your dressed very casual then it’s not to bad . However, I would add dress socks should be knee high. Nothing look worse is when a man crosses his legs and you can see his skin.

Falke ist von der Qualität her super. Optisch gefallen mir Mes Chausettes Rouge noch etwas besser und die fühlen sich noch hochwertiger an, sind preislich aber recht nah dran.

I think the safest and most traditional option would be knee-high socks, but I usually go for mid-calf socks (especially for a warmer climate like Bangkok). They should be long enough to not expose any of your calf when seated.

@Lukas_Schanderl Thanks to the semiconductor and AI industries, the economy has been doing pretty well lately, but with long hours and low pay.
As for the weather, let's put it this way. We've been wearing summer clothes since about April until October/November. Functional fabrics tend to be the clothing of choice in Taiwan, which makes the men here less fashionable.
I would add, in addition to not allowing your calf to be visible, over-the-calf socks also stay up better, meaning you don't have the sloppy look of socks bunched around your ankles, and you're not constantly having to pull them up. Some guys can wear mid-calf socks all day without them slipping down, some can't. Sock garters can also help with that, but I find it's easier to just wear OTC socks. The main thing is to cover your bare legs, so whatever length works best for you on that.
