I own a Tissot Visodate with a silver dial on a Milanese strap. It's a dress watch and it's a birthday gift from my wife so nothing can beat it ❤️
That's a very beautiful watch and even better with a personal story attached :)
Another great video Lukas!
Thank you, Thom :)
i just requested this video 2-3 days back and voila! next on the list - 10 old money all season fragrances like terre de hermes etc. - idk why but i can tell you have a great fragrance collection as well haha. i love your content dude!
Thank you man :) Appreciate it.
Ha I have to admit I am a complete newbie to fragrances, but it's a topic I want to dive into deeper for sure.
A great video, my friend! Sorry it took me a while to get to it... You're making me want more watches! Lol. The Seiko Presage that we talked about before is still my favourite on the list- I love that brown colourway!
Thank you, Simon :)
I feel the same way. I'd love to get more into watches :)
Excellent choices Mr S. more content like this please ✨
Thank you so much :)
Your choice are quite good compared to other fashion CZcamsrs, like your German accent very soothing and nice spoken
Thank you :) Much appreciated
I have some old hand me down Swiss manual wind watches, like a Longines Flagship, Tissot Seaster Seven and a Antima 17 Jewels. I always wear the Antima (looks alot like the Gold Square watch @4:16), with a reddish brown after market leather strap, I find its the perfect watch to wear while wearing Chinos, shirt with the arms rolled up and a pair of brown derby shoes during the summer.
Thanks for sharing.
I just looked up the Antima, what a beautiful watch. Great choice 👌
I wear i Tissot 1853 with an emerald green background! I've gotten so many compliments for it and it's only for around 400 euro
That's a beautiful watch :) Great username btw.
Watch collected here. These are pretty good picks. I would add a tissot visodate to this list.
Thank you :)
You're right, the Visodate is a beautiful watch, thanks for sharing.
Pls do a «whats in my wardrobe» video, love you channel❤
Thank you very much :)
Great topic idea. I've put it on my video list :)
For a rectangle cased watch, such as the 29mm dolce, you would find those wear bigger on your wrist than the actual size suggest. For me, if the lug widths are 18mm up, its definitely great size for men. Some vintage men watches do have 16mm lug, but personally the straps are a little smaller for my taste. But if you like it, go for it.
That's great to know, thanks for sharing.
I should give it a try in a watch shop.
Very interestin choices.
Thank you :)
I think watches are something where you shouldnt go budget unless you reqlly think that specific model is exactly what you want.
Going for a high quality watch that lasts for generations is the goal in my opinion.
Needless to say I would consider the Tissot PRX for more sporty style.
I would consider the seiko tank as well as its close to the cartier tank and some find it looks even better so it's a very good quiet luxury watch.
Other than that the list is pretty complete.
Thanks for watching.
You make a very good point about the budget.
The Tissot PRX is actually the only watch I own at the moment. I agree that it's a fantastic sporty watch.
Correct, the Seiko Tank would have been a good addition to the list.
is it a sin to watch formal watches with linen shirts in summers and knitwear in winter? just want to make sure im not breaking any rule as i dont have the money to splurge on casual watches
I think it should be totally fine and definitely better than without a watch :) I know what you mean 😅 I only have 1 watch as well, due to budget constraints.
Nice elegant picks. Jomashop is legit but you won’t have manufacturer warranty, only a special jomashop warranty. So in case of problems it might be a bit more annoying. But that’s how they keep their prices so low.
Awesome, thanks for sharing :)
That explains the low prices.
Cannot thankyou enough just needed that
Thank you, Sarmad.
I''m not an expert in watch mechanics, so I mainly built the list around the looks of the watches.
Hope you'll like it .)
@@Lukas_Schanderlyes i did lukas❤
@@sarmad7120Awesome :) Thank you
I am watching this with my Casio tank. Do you think there is a risk of the leather strap snapping if I upgrade to real leather bracelet in the future?
That's also a great watch :) What strap do you have right now?
@@Lukas_Schanderl Mine is a metal strap. maybe because the plastic strap of my cheap Casio broke so many times when I was a kid, the first watch I bought after I got a job was this metal strap tank.
I'm thinking of upgrading to a Seiko tank, but I'm worried if the leather strap will repeat my childhood nightmare.
@@user-eb9kw9ks6vI never heard of a leather strap snapping. Of course the spring bars holding the watch on the strap could fail, but that can also happen with a metal bracelet. So don’t worry.
I think that should be totally fine.
The leather will slowly start to look worn in over time and at some point you might have to replace the straps, but I don't think they should snap.
Just got an omega ck859 literally no one knows it costs 10k cad vs my sub same price which everyone knows😂😂 real stealth wealth
That's a beautiful watch :) Great choice, Paul.
My first luxury watch was Seiko. Indeed that is the most convenient, comfortable and beautiful. However, the main issue with mechanical watch is that they are sleeping in the night as soon you go to your bed.
I changed with another Japanese watch Citizen which is very good too. Another watch I have is Tissot Visodate which is very nice and beautiful. But Tissot is mechanical and has same issue like my Seiko.
If your automatic watch stops running at night, when you take it off your wrist, you should service it. Most automatic watches have a power reserve of 40 hours or more.
Making up issues that don’t exist like
I never did it for my Tissot but did service for Seiko so many times. But result always not good. @@MarcSchmitz1979
The Tissot Visodate is a beautiful watch.
You noticed it becoming less and less accurate over time?
Yes, less accurate but not so much. I have Tissot Visodate since July 2015.@@Lukas_Schanderl
From a horological viewpoint, an automatic mechanical watch is more complex and generally has a higher level craftsmanship involved, many more tiny parts, like springs and gears. That makes the mechanical watch more expensive because of the skill required to create it. Quartz is a really cheap watch to make, and so is not worth nearly as much as a well crafted mechanical watch.
Thank you for sharing :) That's a great explanation
Those are dress watch, not a quiet luxury watch. Those are screaming poor watch.
Which affordable watches would you recommend instead?
@@Lukas_Schanderl luxury are not affordable. If that is affordable then it's not luxury.
Its quiet. The point is to hide your wealth but still look dapper.
@@soulboxphoto The point is quiet "luxury". Seiko is not luxury. The point is not to hide your wealth but just looks simple with high named brands. Like wearing a plain black shirt but Tom Ford brand. Your definition is wrong.
