Great list! I've found Desdemona does really well in a vase. It lasts for days. While the blooms are smaller it goes well with other roses in a mixed bouquet.

The moment I saw the red rose and you said it's Munstead Wood, it really made my day!

Fantastic as always Ben. I'd love to see a demo of how you de-thorn with secateurs.

Update on the US DA website: The Lady Emma Hamilton is expected back in stock in 2023; Heathcliff, L D Braithwaite, Shropshire Lad, Evelyn, The Dark Lady, Falstaff, Sweet Juliet, & Pat Austin have all been discontinued and no longer show the “Expected back in stock 2023” note on their pages.

Also can you cut when they are more bud like and have them open inside?

Here in the USA zone 6 I have had very good luck with first-year Tess of the d'Urbervilles. She lasts for a week or more! I am thrilled with her. Wonderful scent as well.

It’s a lovely rose but aren’t the stems a little short to cut ?

My Tess has been very vigorous and blooming aggressively in a pot no less. Fragrance is not the strongest, but still very good. Been one of my better DAs so far and I have a good many. Thorns are brutal on my Tess though.

I tried to buy a Munstead Wood but unfortunately they no longer sell it.

You may be able to find at other retailers. It is very thorny so I don’t find it ideal for that reason.
