    Thank you Ben. I really found this presentation informative and interesting. I particular liked the fact that you included the roses that pollinators were drawn toward, as well as the roses that produced amazing rose hips in the autumn.

    Great video Ben. I really look forward to purchasing "Bring me sunshine" in 2024. I purchased Elizabeth a few days ago and might have to rethink on the location. Might need more space.

      Both of them coming up to a large size is a really good thing. In my opinion please do hang in there for bring me Sunshine. It is absolutely stunning and won’t disappoint

    Are they all small climbers, except QOS? How does it work with 3-7 of the same kind, won't it be a lot of sticks, ropes and/or obelisks?

      All of these roses are shrubs, but in my opinion, all make large in formal shapes in need of support. How are you support them is up to you

  • @chrisanthony4971
    @chrisanthony4971 Před 10 měsíci

    The lack ascending an extraordinary rose - in my garden already over 8 foot and its very strong, not actually needing any support despite its height. The only one in this list that I have struggled with is tottering by gently - sadly plagued by disease (I have 4 in different spots and they have all suffered).

    Do you think you could plant multiple Kew Gardens in a large planter which is 4.8 metres long to create a hedge like statement?

    • @the_gardenerben
      @the_gardenerben  Před 4 měsíci

      You most certainly could yes as long as it’s deep enough at least 70cm deep you could you could plant them as close as 50 cm apart

      @@the_gardenerben thank you so much for all you help. I love your videos. How wide would you make the planter? If you had to choose between Kew Gardens and tottering by gently for this sort of a hedge which would it be? Or could you alternate them?
