He does what outdoor cats do in bringing their “catch” to their humans to let them know that they love them. Batman is so cute-and so sneaky😂

He’s leaving her the stuffies as gifts, to show her he loves her, and is a proud little hunter, watching over her at night.

Lucky he's an inside only cat. If he were allowed to roam outdoors, you would have a collection of (hopefully) dead animals at your door step. He is definitely an entertaining cat.

Just to make people aware, cats with those short legs suffer from a genetic deformity. Some cat breeders, who I would consider unethical, deliberately breed cats with this deformity because people think they are cute. But it is a genetic deformity. It brings no advantage to the cats and they do have some increased risks for certain medical conditions. And if two cats who have this gene breed together, it becomes lethal and the kittens will not survive. They only way they can breed them is by breeding one cat with the deformity with another cat without the deformity. IMHO, if you like cats, you should not get a cat like this if they are being bred intentionally.

The fact that Batman is selecting specific toys is pretty amazing. There's way more going on intelligence wise than we give them credit for. Amazing animals for sure.

I love seeing what animals get up to when they don't think anyone is watching. They have all these ideas and routines that are separate from humans.

My female cat, Violet has recently been bringing her toys downstairs into the bedroom and leaving them there for us. I thank her and cuddle her. She's 11 years old and just started doing it a few months ago out of nowhere.

My cat Sassy would go”hunt” for her catnip toys at night and we’d wake in the morning to find a line of toys leading into our bedroom. I’d ask her if she did that, and she’d purr and demand cuddles in return. Then I’d redistribute the toys in various places so she could hunt them again. That’s cats showing you appreciation for feeding them, by bringing gifts to you in the night. đŸ˜»

He's probably really confused why you keep throwing away the twist ties he worked so hard to find you. "This is a gift, human! Take it!"

Aw he's so cute. Glad the gifts he brings you are toys and not dead mice or something. He's bringing you toys to play with, not something to "eat". He's adorable, he has good taste in toys.

    He’s bringing you gifts
expressing his love for you
I had an outside cat one time and I was constantly finding dead birds, snakes or whatever he would catch
on my front porch
it’s their way of saying I LOVE YOU
it’s a sign of great affection
it’s very cute!
