I made one for a kitten that i had for 3 days, and my god, the tears won't stop! But i knew i couldn't keep her and made sure that she was going to a better home, so that was a constant motivation as well. The tears won't stop either way.

I couldn’t do it, I’m 21 and I have 7 cats. I’m really good at the rescuing and nursing part of the process, but once it’s time to consider finding a permanent home for the kitten, I just end up keeping it. How can I give it up after hours of bonding. I’m likely to get more since I can’t bring myself to just raise them and put them up for adoption.
This kitten hasn't the slightest idea of what failure is, only alternative methods of success. What a beautiful soul.

You just have to love how animals just accept whatever body issue is dealt to them. After that they NEVER even notice it. What a gift they are.

Special needs kittens are a whole other joy, when there’s lots of medical bills then I can see where it’s stressful… but healthy kittys with differences are just extra fun. I rescued a kitten with wobbly kitty syndrome and she is the light of my life, even though she throws *extra* litter all over my room. Perfectly healthy but the constant wobbling like a drunken sailor is wayyy funnier than it should be 😂🥰
My cat is VERY aware that he's missing a leg and an eye tho.
Nick Douglas they do change the way they go about day to day activities, my kitty is a bit more cautious and is easily spooked. I take great efforts to make her feel as safe as I can ❤️

I think it’s amazing that she didn’t just set him on the cat tree, but actually taught him to climb. That’s such a big difference; actually empowering the kitty to learn and explore on his own, rather then be dependent on people to move him around. That’s how you set a kitty up for success.
That's why I dont like it when owners force their animals to stay inside they become too dependent on the owners its crazy and I always get told its safer but think of it like they're a kid wanting to go outside you'd never have a problem with it but when it comes to animals people are quick to trap them inside its gross. If animals want to be outside they should be allowed out and I dont mean every animal some prefer inside
Except it's not *about* what you're talking about, really. It's about other things, the foremost being 1 the safety & *longevity* of the cats,
& 2, the impact the mighty little hunters have on other local animal populations. Cats are awesome; they're also territorial af & enjoy dealing death like it's a hand of poker. Keep'em inside when you can; everyone'll live longer, happier lives.

I just realized I was clapping and cheering at every little milestone. You both took a life that could have been sad and made it a most beautiful life filled with love and wonder and joy. Well done to you two and baby kitten.
Scotty never knew he had a handicap, he figured all cats were made like this so it wasn't ever an issue with him. He's in a very, very good place with scout and their dad. Both so adorable.
Scottie is purr-fect. Grandma just knows what to do. She is a miracle worker.

Nikki is kind and amazing and her grandma making Scottie that little boot how sweet is she too. In my opinion you can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat their animals. This was a great video.

What a great story. From rags to riches !! This kitty deserves to be pampered and spoiled, now he has it all. Nobody knows how his foot got deformed, perhaps he was born that way, but now he's safe in his new home w/ his "dad" and even a kitty playmate. Couldn't have asked for more ! Compliments to all those out there that foster animals in hopes of giving them a chance to thrive, they deserve it.

My Jolene came to the house with a deformed/folded front paw. It was a bloody stump, so I decided I would keep feeding her and slowly acclimate her to coming inside. She howled in fear for a while, then she realized her "safe" corner on the sofa was sanctuary. 18 months later her paw is healed, and she is the loving and happy girl. She gets bossy with the other cats, but she loves them. She and the two younger kitties race through the house, with Jolene's stump banging on the hardwood floors, but it does not hurt her. While I didn't really want five cats (Marlene is 11 and Betty is 5 or 6 and has a chronic autoimmune disease), my life and heart are extremely full. God bless Scottie, Nikki and all the foster kittens. Y'all are good people.
As humans we have so much to learn from these beautiful animals. I can't imagine life without these selfless people who care for animals. We give up on humans with a disability can you imagine if this sweet little kitten was in the wrong hands. ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU.

I got a tripod who last his back leg back when he was about 2.5 months, he has learned so quickly how to get around. He's approaching 7 months now and climbs up the cat tree that we got no problem.
I looked after a couple of tripod-cats while out in Cyprus...very similar looking black and white cats, one missing a back left, one missing a back right leg (were caught in a chicken-wire fence as kittens).
They are faster than their 4-legged buddies, and doesn't stop them from doing anything (apart from scratching behind one of their ears)
The kitty cats look like bookends.

i have never seen a tripod kitty that couldn't everything four leg kitties do. He is so sweet. After watching the whole video I fell in love with the foster mama and Moses too. You are amazing people and it is because of you I hold out hope for animals that suffer. If just a little bit of your love and kindness towards a little kitten could rub off on one person then that is how you change the world one cuddly kitty at a time.
