BENGALURU, INDIA - This evening we’re going on an Indian street food tour in Bengaluru to eat a few extremely popular and unique street foods that are both tasty and affordable - for under $1!
Friends in the video:
→ Naman: / bangalorefoodbomb
→ Nabeel: Great transportation services in South India, Smile Travel: maps.app.goo.gl/2zHgCkFCevHxN...
→ Joel: @JoelsTastyRide
Here are all the places we went on this Indian street food tour:
Davanagere Hot Masala Mandakki Mirchi (maps.app.goo.gl/9zFvBQjbTCxwB...)
We tried Girmit Mirchi and Operation Mirchi, both of which included their speciality of fried green chilies. Price - 40 Rupees ($0.48 USD)
Ravi Bhelpuri (maps.app.goo.gl/C7QMqgrQvH8w8...) - This place has some of the best Indian street food chaats I’ve had in a long time. The tomato bhel, bhel puri, hesaru bele were all outstanding, bursting with flavor and spicy! Price - 60 Rupees ($0.72 USD)
Bengaluru Cafe (maps.app.goo.gl/kwju2jwxB3BNE...) - Naman then took us to an extremely popular food and hang out spot that’s known for all sorts of South Indian street foods and coffee. I tried their amazing vada with coconut chutney, idli, and butter masala dosa. Price - 35 Rupees ($0.42) for the vada.
Krishna's Cart (maps.app.goo.gl/iMZ1BNycnLSMC...) - Finally we went to another extremely famous dosa cart where they specialize in pink colored beetroot dosa. Again, an outstanding dosa and wonderful street food experience. Price - 50 Rupees ($0.62)
We’ve had many amazing street food experiences in Karnataka, and this was yet another delicious evening of food. From here we literally had to run to catch out flight back home to Bangkok!

The smiles of the people is so heartily and precious. When we complain that our lives are hard then we should see these people who are doing so much of hardwork and still having such beautiful smiles. The people were the real stars of this whole series of Karnataka. And so was the mesmerizing food
Yes fully agree!
@@MarkWiens Hey! Thank you for replying! Love your videos ❤
I love that we can travel the world through you Mark without actually “travelling the world” to experience food and culture. Thank you as always
Thank you so much!
@@MarkWiensreally disappointed man u didn't went to northeast india hands down india has one of the best pork nd beef dish in dis world but overshadowed by mainland Indian dishes see Gordon Ramsay or best food review show u hv missed alot u should've tried pork dish frm mizoram Manipur meitei style nagalnd arunachal sikkim nd Darjeeling style one
5:13 The explanation of the dish name "Operation Mirchi"🤣"That's an operation you look forward to!"
Where do these Indian “cooks” wash their hands when they go to the restroom, when you cannot even find soap at the facilities in more upscale businesses or airports in India?
Probably much precise, apt & attractive explaination compared to what Kripal Amanna was trying to explain every time!
Both Naman and Nabeel come across as genuine guys..... I could see anxiety in Naman's face that all should go well.... He won my heart
It's truly heartening to see you shining a spotlight on local roadside small shops and their delicious offerings on your channel. Your support means the world to them. Kudos to you, Mark, for your impactful work! Keep it up!❤
Thank you very much, appreciate your support!
Man, I keep saying this, I am Indian but a South African Indian and I've never seen or heard of majority of the Devine foods prepared by my brothers and sisters from India itself. Am so used to spicy foods, being an Indian, but I can only imagine the exotic flavours of the foods prepared there. Very creative and imaginative meals
😋👌
Welcome to visit India and experience the authentic Indian food.
Mark I’ve been following you for years, never did I imagine you’d be visiting my local street food vendors! You’ve covered our hidden gems that even local food bloggers haven’t. Thank you, made my day 🥲
Loving this series, Mark! Beautifully documented as always :D
Thank you very much, really appreciate it!
Mark's positivity is contagious n addictive.
India is Vegetarians Paradise ❤ Here you get to taste the world's best vegetarian food😋
😮😮😮
As a South Indian Hindu, love beef with parota
He was mentioning about best vegetarian food and without being negative about non vegetarian foods. Why do you have to flex your beef eating habbit. It’s a free country you can eat whatever you want. Don’t mention south India when you say beef because majority of South Indians don’t eat beef.

All videos at Bengaluru 😂 mark loves bangluru❤
Love the way he appreciates every single food variety!
Good to see you with Joel again- back to the roots.❤
My first time watching a video of this kind. I have always enjoyed making sarcastic remarks on those who watch food and travel videos (this includes my wife). Pretty easy, not to mention satisfying, to poke fun at people spending time watching other people eat. But with much guilt I admit that I enjoyed the hell out of this whole video and smiled throughout, which I will never admit to a family member. Hats off to you for finding these places, doing such a great job of videography, and being such a great guy throughout! Also, a question: how in the world do you eat all that stuff in a single day and remain so fit, even skinny? I want that magic potion or spell.
See, it's not so bad.😂
All of Mark's videos are like this. I started watching him cause after a couple of videos, I realized how sweet a person he was and how much respect he shows to everyone he meets. You also learn a lot about the food, culture, and people of whatever country he's visiting.
Thank you very much, appreciate your support. Haha, not totally sure, just try to balance the food with exercise and usually eating quite healthy when I'm home.
I have been watching Mark for 8 years, you chose the best food vlogger :)
The only thing better than Indian food is the people!!!! I LOVE these videos and hope to visit in person! 🙏💜👍 I am very fortunate to have Indian neighbors here in Oregon 🥰

Wow I guess south India is a must place to visit.. they seem so welcoming and there seems no language barrier... I am afraid once I visited north india... LOVE FROM NEPAL..
I am glad that you are with these lovely blokes where they will keep you focused on the food not glorify it with too much English like Kripal. When Vloggers hog the attention than the food under review, the purpose of the Vlog is lost. You are a good Vlogger Mark. You have your trademark mannerisms but still the food is the central theme.
It’s like watching Godfather only for Brando, ignoring the stellar performances of the cast, the direction and work of the technical crew and the brilliant music. You know what I mean.
A food vlogger should visit, eat and share his honest opinion without too much talk and exaggeration. The old adage a picture conveys a thousand words rings true. here the food is the hero, paraphernalia unnecessary.
I can't take kripal for long. Over hyped. Mark wiens and Sam chiu are my favs across food and air flight industry. Used to be Anthony Bourdain for a long time. That's all. Nothing less, nothing more.
@@pramrv Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord. 😀Finally found someone who echoes my view. Jokes apart. It is economy of expression. All the names you mentioned have masters the craft. Let’s take Mark himself. Compare his video with this one. He is on song, blending with the scene, reacting to the situation and the food and the raw emotion as it comes. Call it as you see it. It is not a cookery show for the viewer to know what goes where and how.
For a kannadiga with origins in Tamil Nadu, it is extremely irritating to hear Yul Ammana telling his viewers to dig a dosa at the centre as if gold is stuck in its belly. It is common sense and practice, if the person wants the crisper piece he will tear the edge and dunk it in the chutney abd if he wants the soft insides a d crunchy outside will go to the centre with the filling. It is cacophony for South Indians to hear that. Feel like shaking up.
That said, we Indians always fall for glamour and glitz and flowery stories. Shiny sphere is milking it to his advantage. Enough said..
If I may watch the Delhi food walks vlogs, Anurag the host keeps it nice and simple and interesting without saying much
@@wanderingmystic6968 btw now that we echo the interests, watch the Karnataka coastal series of "visa2explore" by Harish bali. U will thank me for that. Almost documentary standards similar to Thaana Yaana by DD Chandana (best kannada travel documents series with Girija hegde as anchor)
Some folks here are jealous of kripals enthusiasm for good food and language. If you cant appreciate atleast don't criticize a Bengaluru legend.
Don't generalize your foolish opinions and think that the majority is easily fooled with just words as kripal spends enough time hearing the stories of the owners and the food. Spends enough time in the kitchen and appreciates each stage of the cooking process. If you cannot speak like him, keep quiet and appreciate the way he talks.
I LOVE MY INDIA🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤

Why don't the vendors wear gloves while touching the food ?
They are super nasty
India is the gorsses dump
@@Nina-wx4qmlol, you are probably 10 iq you only think wearing gloves is hygienic 😂
While plastic gloves have microplastic which is dangerous to health.
Wait till you realize the don’t wear gloves when they prepare your food in America
They don't wear in USA too go to any 5 star rated restaurant and see their kitchen u will surely be horrified to know even MasterChef's don't wear gloves
