  • Arm swelling can be caused by Lymphedema, arthritis, or other reasons like an injury or surgery. In this video, I show step-by-step how to apply kinesiology tape (also known as KT tape and Kinesio Tape) to a full arm for swelling, edema, pain, and lymphedema. Arm lymphedema, pain and swelling relief can be challenging and wearing a compression sleeve isn't always always realistic or comfortable, or easy to put on. Using Kinesiology tape is another option.

I was a massage therapist for over 20 years. I did this to myself a couple years ago before I got my custom sleeves, and now that I have the lymphedema under control, I did this occasionally when I was outside over the summer, just because the sleeve was soooo hot. Works pretty well! glad you put this out there!

I just had the same conversation with an individual yesterday! Thanks for acknowledging that everyone has different circumstances to consider

When addressing swelling in legs, please mention the different implications of swelling in both legs vs swelling in only one leg & if only on keft keg what it could signify & same if only in the right foot/leg

I really don't understand the mechanism of this tape. I'm at a loss how this could work.🤔

You should check with a doctor since she hasn't answered.

I don't see how this actually works. As the uncovered parts of the arm don't apply any pressure. My father has lymphedema in both arms. I thought a sleeve would apply greater pressure all around the arms. 🤔🤔. I never even heard of this type of tape. My father has Hospice care and they don't address his lymphedema at all..🤔🤔
