Reality: all the monetary thing's you complain about with Apex are decided and handled by Respawn.

Imagine just wanting something shiny without the drama & politics. Can’t solo que without someone opening their mouth about your buster sword/cobalt. People who would have been silent the whole game just piping up to trash talk. While I fully understand voting with your wallet I’m not letting community thoughts and opinions get in the way of something I personally find desirable. It’s my money and my time. Glad someone brings up no Apex August because it shows that people just want to play the game even if it’s hella skuffed. I understand having complaints about the games greedy nature, but it’s a reality with EA. I genuinely don’t think you’ll be able to fix this with boycotts because it’s in the nature of people to buy shiny things. If you’re so compelled to complain about the nature of the publisher stop playing the game and see if it makes a dent. Unless there is a miracle this type practice will only get worse. So maybe leave now if you can’t still stomach it I guess. But if you’re anything like me you’ll just keep playing regardless because you love the game. Who knows how long apex will last under EA so I’m just trying to enjoy this game everyday.

And ooh no the event where apex implemented shitty confusing FOMO gacha system for 400$ sword is one of the most profitable seasons yet EA says.
*Like, I 100% get behind the sentiment that we as a community should NOT be supporting EA* for this behavior, but I'm still gonna be a realist that sees the facts for what they are. We don't have as much of an impact as we like to believe we have, that's sad but true to some extent.
@@teku6266 Ok, you've made some good points. Didn't take the final fantasy event into account. And I guess the bugs were going on for a long time before that too. Still, maybe with people's inventory being messed up people won't spend nearly as much and EA won't be as profitable this season and upcoming and they will make changes.

Do you play ranked so you can show off your rank to other players? No one cares about your rank or your skill level. Grinding to a rank in a video game is not an accomplishment.
If people are grinding rank the last two weeks, they are doing it for the rank reward, not for some arbitrary skill placement on a competitive ladder.

It’s a true marker of skill and some keep getting better with each season via ranked. Nothing else in this game is worth playing if it’s not for ranked. If it stayed the same as season 17-19 this game would be dead in less than a few months and they knew it. That’s why respawn reverted ranked back to season 13. Just because YOU think it’s meaningless with your casual gameplay doesn’t make it meaningless to the majority of the player base.

Im much more interested in the sociology of "ranked" over "casual." It is interesting how people get so offended when you question the rank title or skill level of someone; they need to have that emblem to validate their skill and show everyone how good they are at the video game - it's truly pathetic.
with the loba challenges a rly frustrating thing is the damage challenge having 2 tiers, both counted towards the total progress, now I am sitting on 4 challenges done total with only 3/5 progress. which ones don't count then? here I was, excited they finally gave us an alternative to doing the 25 rings but instead they just effectively sneaked in another challenge
Create it so exotic shards are used to make customizations like colors to heirlooms and can be earned somehow

@@rekthereaper3760 I know what i bought, i know that in a BP there is 14 packs if you buy it, there is like 8 packs in treasure packs and i know that at lvl 640 your about 300~ packs opened so.. It'll be my first heirloom so i know im close to it but the game wont let me have it

the Breakout Challenges were fixed yesterday with an update or at least I got mine fixed yesterday with an update on my XBOX SERIES X. I have my progress back and only need to finish Valk in 2 weeks.
I remember once apex about season 12 was giving everyone a random amount of apex packs some reason and I got heirloom shards too
One of my loba challenges was 3k damage then I got the 3k damage and it increased to 6k.
The only think i want is : old prestige skins be updated with sky dives trails

One BIG thing I have been noticing also the last week, some games, even while beaming the crap out of someone, half my mag doesn't even get hit marks, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE STANDING PLAIN ASS STILL. Like, what the hell.... come on Respawn, fix all the damn issues already...
Seems to happen a lot with guns that have a high rate of fire. It will fail to register a lot of the hits.
exotic shards does make sense heirloom shards were always and only meant to be for heirlooms and theyll continue to do so. but we've known since s7 that artifacts were coming

a lot of the legend challenges I just find annoying like use 5 grenades in 5 seconds as fuse 5 times often to get the most out of your nades you gotta move in after getting a good one off like cracking shields with an arc star or frag or dealing good chip damage with thermites. So weird to get such anti synergistic challenges
