first I quit paying money on the game...now im slowly backing away from the game...I love to play...i love this game, but I just can't do it anymore.
This was always going to be the way it went out curtesy of EA.
This is how it happened for me.
Started in S3.
Spent $100s over many seasons.
Was frustrated enough to stop giving them money by S12.
Basically stopped playing by S16.
Uninstalled a few months later.
Good riddance
I thought season 20 was gonna be the best season yet.

My apex experience for a few years has mainly been watching the dumpster fire of a game evolve on this channel. I miss being able to actually play, but it's been unplayable for years even after getting fiber.

@@raikashihetake6824 To be fair, the players are at least half responsible as well. I've played over 15,000 solo q games with an average ping of 300ms and still had fun for years. I had to stop playing because I was being abused verbally almost every game. I can't help my ping, but I can cut the toxic players out. Unfortunately, it became every lobby so the game had to be cut.

its not up to a stuido to fund orgs that came about just to extort part of the winnings off these tourneys, the tourney is and has always been the reason to compete, orgs promote teams to sell merch to earn money off players content, orgs extort its players for earnings, whether they "pay" them or not they feed off the players content in order to do so, they have no way of generating funds without the players, and its not on any studio to fund orgs just because they compete, they have no affiliation and no game would die without their existence.

This is a pretty long April fools joke
I told you weeks ago that these bugs would be common now. It happens in every game after critical teams and devs get laid off or they leave the studio. It will be patching after patching and no one will be ever able to stabilize the code base due to all these patches. I used to work managing these support teams and sending the bug reports myself. I feel for everyone still working in this game because this is the turning point where everything turns from pressure into nightmare. The people capable of understanding and fixing a code base with so much work and years behind it would rather make their own game than take this job. GG y'all. Also, you haven't covered it but the servers have been utter garbage lately, with people from very different locations in the same squad experiencing the same packet drops, lag and crashes. Hope this gets fixed but with so much going on, I'm not positive about it.
i talked to ea support about missing badges and it isnt worth it, the only things i got was an email asking if i still needed help and a day after that i got an email that said something along the lines of "Dont worry you arent alone we are working to fix this issue" 😐
some of my weapons have been getting blue glos on them but when i switched they disappeared.
@jmeyels the octane vs horizon event was for the story for the season if you watch the most recent cutscene its octane giving horizon the artifact from his dads collection!
I picked the heat sink skin today now i got the flatine recolor.........whats going on lol
I did get the pop up for the event and octane winning.
Respawn would rather release overpriced events rather than fixing the game and expect everyone to continue to play

1:36 Bro I logged on saw my battle pass was tier 86 but I had hella skins I didn’t have before and i even had unreleased skins I restarted all everything was normal again
No in the storyline octane win not a event in game but in the storyline have a event
Ive lost all hope in this game tbh. I quit playing 3 weeks ago and it has been the most stress relieving time of my life. No pressure to grind, no relentless server issues on other games, no sweaty 3 stack weirdos doing cringey childish rat plays, no toxic comments from the community in my videos. Its been eye opening to alot for me. These devs no longer care about the players. They are here to maintain this game and fix only the things that will prevent them from continuing the flow of money. Do yourself a favor and take a couple weeks off the game if you play everyday/other day and try some other grinds. I promise you that youll begin to feel the same way. This is coming from someone who played since day 1 of release and played NOTHING but ranked when it dropped. Dedicated 5 HARD years if my life to the game. Realized in 3 weeks it was a waste of time. Video games are meant to enjoy, if were not enjoying the game becuz of cheaters, servers, etc... why are we continuing to support them? Really think abiut that. Would you support gatorade if they continued to let dirt get in every other bottle? Maybe you get a clean bottle maybe you get a dirty one... why not try powerade?

The reason this happens is simply poor dev practices, your prod code should not have update code. Compiler options are too easy to convince me it's not intentional.

The octane vs horizon was about a lore event for final chapter of the in game chapters for the season horizon still gets what she was after so it didn't really matter besides maybe inside jokes for the future
people will continue to blame ea as if respawn isn’t also responsible for this
People quickly jumping to the conclusion that the firing of the QA team is causing all these issues, you ever take a moment to think that maybe the QA teams are being fired because of all these issues?

We don't need New or more content, new Cosmetics, new Materials to purchase stuff.... We need a Solid game. 5 years+ of this "successful" game and it acts like a freaking Beta, pre-released copy of the game. The issues fucking suck.

The event was promoted no different than any other bs EA/Respawn has done. The only thing that was not promoted was the score between the two legend teams. The whole event was promoted poorly and there was nothing significant enough to appease the community. All of this bs going on since that major hack has basically given those 3rd pty tool users a green light to go full stupid. It's significantly worse, each match has any number of cheaters on avg. 2 out of 3 teams has a 3rd pty tool user(s) cheating. This game is quite literally falling a part in front of us all & EA gives 0 f's about it and us.
Clearly firing so many QA people has worked out.
Do we think that the fired employees are hacking the game and making the glitches?
This is just embarrassing at this point....
Apex did a great job as players basically cheaters who are addicted and spent money lost their items 🎉

Still lost my master badges and the amount of cheaters is still Brazzzzzyyyy. But it’s cool. Multiplayer games are loaded with to many cheaters and cheating is bigger then ever and I’m about to just stop playing games. I’ve been playing multiplayer for 15 years now…..and cheating on any game back in the day was a super fast ban or suspension. Like you’d get banned for boosting in call of duty lmao but now you can run around with walls and be fine.

@Jmeyels It isnt just Apex its from an gigantic data breach that hit EVERYTHING!Including Bandai namco, paypal, facebook, government website accounts etc.Literally everything got hit by this data breach the largest in HISTORY just a few months ago.
