Friends, today we’re back with another FNAF Fan Game! This time it’s Bondee's Barnyard because we’ve covered just about EVERY setting imaginable for a FNAF fan game… except where animals ACTUALLY live… a barn. When the doors are closed, I think you lose oxygen due to limited airflow, not necessarily losing power

Well it’s easy to relate it or assume it’s power because every other FNAF game uses a power system. Not sure how many picked up it was oxygen unless they died to losing oxygen

Matpat is the only person that can play a fnaf fangame while telling stories of cheese and make it entertaining.
Supposedly, the animatronics actually get more aggressive after you use the breathing mechanic, as hinted in the intro cutscene.
26:30 They said "turns three", not "is green". It's a time thing, albeit with weird wording. Weird wording is pretty consistent throughout this game, actually. Also, holding the light would probably be better than strobing it.
29:40 That looks like a bug if I've ever seen one. He's supposed to kill you if you don't close the door.

Another thing you didn't mention is that there isn't a 'power" system its the oxygen in the room that's why they are tied together as shown by the more manual door disign

I believe when the duck “thing” happens it prevents the guard from using the cameras. Pretty cool
A fun tip: if an animatronic is at the door and leaves, you will see your oxygen meter suddenly increase by like 5%. Its a useful tip for if you have a hard time hearing the cues.

As someone who is actively involved in the culinary arts, I think the best pie to put tea in would be a transparent pie, it’s basic enough that there wouldn’t be any strong over powering flavor to the tea.

@@MichealthekillerA transparent pie is a kind of pie that has a jelly-like filling that is apparently very popular in Kentucky. It is not see through but the filling is colorless and seems to match the pie crust. (All this is based on my short Google search, because I’ve never heard of a transparent pie. The more you know!)

I would kinda like to experiment putting fruity teas in fruit pies (apple, blueberry, mixed) I doubt it would over take the filling flavour but I am curious how it would effect the outcome

I'm so confused by the fact that they didn't think to close the corresponding door whenever the chicken showed up, and the fact that the chicken showing up apparently prevents animatronics from ever entering the door on that side
He attempted that but was killed the first time trying it, so probably ruled that out

He did think, didn't you watch closely? He tried closing the door and was punished.
fun fact: after the first cutscene in that has the mother chicken, when it fades away you can faintly see the animatronic version of mother chicken 13:26. and the reason why bondee dislikes the light is because the child you play as accidentally lit bondee on fire when they tried to blow the candles out. it shows this happening during the cutscene with bondee giving the cake and in the newspaper at the bottom, but since the screen zooms in on the newspaper you have to look at the bottom first thing to find the message saying this.
PS the extra animatronics appear in custom mode thats why you didnt see them in the main or night mode. you should have a part 2 where you do the custom and night modes!
As an audio only listener while I work, hearing Matt being super concerned and quiet while he learns game mechanics is so entertaining lol

Just found this game and wanted to recommend it, SCP: The Endurance. It plays like a fnaf game with characters from scp, really well done, but gets really hard towards the end with 8 scps to fight everyone with a unique mechanic.

This is so crazy because this is the kind of game I was expecting Security Breach to be when I first saw the trailers, with the animatronics all actually trying to help you hide and the security guard coming after you as the main villain!
I'm pretty sure the "power" is still just o2. The freezer is airtight and closing the doors will let less and less o2 in, and if you pass out in the suit you're gone.
For a tea flavored pie, go with a water pie and just brew the water into tea ahead of time. Put some pizzazz in that Great Depression desert! Also an Earl Grey Cream Pie would be a great way to start the morning.

To be fair it depends on the chocolate pie, I've never had a real high quality chocolate pie the recipe that I use (that my mom taught me) is basically instant chocolate pudding in a graham cracker crust, not terribly fancy but pretty good especially with some whipped cream.
you're gonna love hearing about my favorite flavor then it is called "traverse city cherry fudge" and yep as the name suggests it is cherry and fudge mixed. it is amazing and when on sale in the store i have been known to buy a grocery bag full of them
Actually the power isn't attached to your breathing. The security guard is probably taking care of power but you need air to breathe and run to close the door and switch on the lights when your inside the animatronic.
It's actually happiness/calmth, not oxygen. The lower it goes thr more panicked and scared the child gets, obviously at 0% the child is breathing heavily and freaking out too much to close the doors so any animatronic immediately finds and kills them

Everyone makes the mistake in calling the percentage battery or breathing but it is actually a happiness meter. When the door shuts, it causes fear in the child so much so that the meter goes down faster.

My theory, from how much I've watched, is that the security guard was out to kill us since we didn't go to them for help, we seem to be hiding from them, and when we tried moving they shocked us immediately. But that is just what I think...
I believe you. Why would he shock us if he could see our face? Why does he think all the animatronics are coming in this room when he probably knows what they’re programmed for? The security guard is sketchy.
I already love this game so much just because of the breathing feature. Like we're in imminent danger AND we're suffocating.
That's so goddamn scary man.
Even if we're hidden we're only really hidden from the security guy since the other animatronics seem to immediately know we're inside the other animatronic.
So why are we hiding from the security guard huh? Were they the one who took kidnapped this kid in the first place??
Also I wonder if the cow animatronic just not sentient of is it a glamrock freddy type situation?

It sort of explained how the other animatronics are programmed with extra security against intruders, but the cow is the one that was programmed to stay with the kids until the parents come back. At least, that's how I understood the beginning cutscene. The kid hiding from the night guard is kinda sketch, though. The night guard does cause the cow to clamp down on the kid if they're seen, but how would the kid know the guard was unfriendly until it was too late? Very interesting...
The way I understood it is I thought the kid was at their party, but accidentally burned Bondee. So they then got scared and the cow found them so had them climb in.

Dear matpat, you should start a podcast where you just get to listen to a bunch of witty banter amongst other things I think the side conversations during the gameplay are very entertaining and this idea would be very cool to see happen!
Wraps are superior to the sandwich. A wrap contains all components of the sandwich but with the added bonus of being water tight (after being correctly wrapped) allowing for transport of thinner ingredients like gravy of stew. Next the tortilla is a more versatile container allowing for very shapes like flat casadilas or fat round Borrito’s giving greater storage capability. Finally any food can and will work in a wrap from butter chicken to sauerkraut.
Safeway has some pretty good wraps. I like roast beef and cheddar on sandwiches so I tried the wrap version. So good! They also have blue cheese in the wraps and it's great that way.
Earl Grey and vanilla is also a common combination. I'd be down for a London Fog themed pie
The cheese Matt was looking for when describing himself is mimolette. A bright orange aged cheddar. Nice and hard with a strong sharp cheddar taste. Its quite an excellent cheese.

The bonus characters were all in the Custom Hour, doubling the possible threats from 5 to 10 (10/20 too, of course). After Geet was in the video chapters I was hoping you'd get to see him in action. Maybe another day.

Their conversation about the specialty ice cream in NC reminded me of the BYU creamery here in Utah. They make such good ice cream that's only available in a few places around Utah. The Graham Canyon flavor is definitely top tier
Never had BYU's ice cream, but USU (Utah State University) has a pretty good creamery.
I thought about the Graham Canyon too! It also made me think of Rockwell's down in Provo.
I'd like to suggest a game for Mat's personal time I *KNOW* he'd love! It's an extremely difficult 2D Metroidvania Puzzle Platformer called La-Mulana (there's a remake of the original, and a sequel as well), and it's all based on solving puzzles in ancient ruins where all mythologies were born! It's a game where even your own knowledge of mythology can help you solve the puzzles, and the lore goes extra deep the ruins of La-Mulana! Please please please make sure he tries it, it's literally the perfect game for him and I know he'll love it!! Thank you Ash or whoever :D! Oh, and when he gets stuck, there is a hint-based guide on Steam that can help without spoiling things outright! :D

Ash, if you read this, the barn thing I went to they had cheddar that's been aged for different lengths of time. Like 7 year aged cheddar or15 year aged cheddar. It's so good. Highly highly recommend everyone to try multiyear aged cheddar. My favorite though is probably 8-9 year aged cheddar. Not much of a pie person, I much prefer cake and that's red Velvet

I love how MatPat heard "when the clock is green" instead of "when the clock strikes three." Totally didn't catch on that the instructions counted down each hour.
the fact that the singer sounds like MatPat is something to really consider whether this is actually MatPat game and he is secretly profiting out of it XD.
Hot take, but I'm willing to argue that "bowl" is the ideal form of food, not "sandwich." I've more or less stopped eating sandwiches, but recently have been experimenting with making things in bowls. For example, you can do an awful lot of things with rice, and so basically anything that I would normally put on bread is becoming a viable rice bowl. My favorites so far have been pepperoni pizza bowl (rice instead of crust, chopped pepperoni, parmesan, and sauce), chopped hotdogs bowl (rice, chopped hotdogs, plus whatever condiments you like on your hotdogs), and a few more tradition rice pastas (chicken alfredo, meatball marinara, chicken parm, etc). So far, I've not found a food that I didn't prefer as a rice bowl over a sandwich. I'm willing to grant that there's something to be said for the portability of a sandwich, I just find the breading to be inferior in the end reducing the overall experience.

For tea pies: I havent heard of any, but I HAVE made chai tea sugar cookies! It's basically just a normal sugar cookie with a packet of chai tea (you can grind the tea if you don't like the bigger pieces in the cookie) and a simple glaze (powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract) with either ground chai spices like nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, etc. or ground chai tea! I love them and they're super duper simple. I know it's not pie but it is a tea dessert! I'm sure you can also do this with other teas as well :). You can do pretty much anything with sugar cookies
