@@MiloMurphysLaw Well, I don't know what kind of computer Matt uses compared to anyone else, and I've only seen one other person play this game which is pretty well the same case for most of the other stuff I see him play. I don't personally have enough evidence one way or the other to say whether it's the fault of Matt's hardware or something else

Why does Mat keep experiencing such unique bugs? He had a unique bug when he played JR's, and now it is happening again here with the Golden Freddy Suit where he is OUTSIDE THE SUIT.

I think "screamers" is the old term for jump-scares. And the term is still used by a lot of people.

You are partially right,
screamers are kind of the pre-evolution of the scares we associate as jumpscares nowadays (ie an image that suddenly pops up and there is a loud noise (often a scream), and it was very normal for people to put them at the end of videos or in middle of them, they were often ones where you were asked to concentrate on an image, kind of like the meditation videos, only for the poor watcher to be suddenly met with a horrifying image and loud screaming.
Originally the two terms were more separate, a jumpscare was just a scare that made you jump and it could be anything, but overtime the two became more or less the same thing.
I don't recall there ever being a term for having experienced a screamer, people would make lists and warn others about videos that were screamers as many of them had traumatising images, and they weren't exactly good for those with heart conditions, heightened hearing or any form of neurodivergency, aka people who were more likely to seek out calming videos to begin with.
Tumblr still keeps on this tradition as many of its users are older Internet users, and some blogs there exclusively mark themselves as screamer free during the Halloween season.

A 1.5 years a long time in the FNAF game and indie world, so I can see how a single playthrough can get forgotten.

Fun fact the symbols in room 2 are electronic symbols used in circuit board diagrams. In order of their location on the buttons they are diode, capacitor, inductor resistor, dc voltage source, and ac voltage source

Ah glitched attraction. A game I have only seen a 7 hour vod for, but just the atmosphere was enough to get me to stay for it all. It doesn’t just give off that feeling of unsettling, or just give you a fear response. It genuinely gives you that feeling of being physically unsafe despite obviously not being in danger

I did an escape room once where we made it al the way through, and we made it to the last door, but it had a three digit lock with no hints to it. Someone remembered that in the waiting room they noticed that 814 was hidden in the paintings, on the pass-time knickknacks like the rubik's cube and lava lamp, on the desk, hidden in the title of the room, so the only way to beat it was to pay attention while you were waiting for the prior group to be done. it was genius. 10/10
You know it's weird to think game theory might not be as iconic as it is today if it weren't for one man having a bad dream about a bunny.

I was in an escape room with some friends once. We (They, I barely contributed because I'm not smart) did it so fast that once we were done and left, no one was waiting for us because they expected us to be in there longer
Me, my sister, and a handful of our friends went to an escape room for my birthday last year. We didn't get much done int he first thirty minutes but speed ran through and finished ten minutes later with 17 minutes left. We were so proud lmao

Fredoor was a name given by the speedrun community during one of the versions of the Glitched Attraction in which you could simply wind up Freddy on purpose to make him get out of his box, and simply just hug the walls near his area and crouch to get past him to put the cogs in without getting killed by Freddy. Sadly, this strat was patched by the developers.

Okay, this game from the very beginning scenes is amazing! Right from the get go you get a few options for people like me who are color blind! It's so cool to see people noticing that and modifying their games to do so!
Matpat has so many of that style of jacket but in different colors it feels the color select of fighting game character
My father was colourblind yet for over 5 years he worked in a paintshop and only used the names of the colours to mix everything to the exact shade, they never even knew.

I'm pretty sure that the symbols in the code for that last room were meant to be the symbols for circuit components. I don't know why, I just found it interesting.

Seeing the gang in performance mode with the happy music made me so happy!
Also makes me want a game where you're the new employee at Freddy's and you have to do little quest for the automotronics and the staff to get more friendship points, bonus if you can befriend the ghost kids while solving their murder/getting revenge. You can fix Foxy, help Freddy with things, and depending on who you befriend depends on what ending you get. Befriend Staff and you get a manager ending where you get to hide bodies and protect the image of Freddy's and it turns into like a buisness tycoon game in the game+, befriend the robots and you become an engeneer and you get a chance to ruin the robots to protect people with the dlc being you get to create your own robots and try to beat Freddy's after you're fired for tampering with the robots, befriend the ghost and you become a tool for their revenge with the game plus as a the "parent" of ghost kids or something...
sounds fun but lots of work...

@@pessskychaos4874 What I'm saying is that the other people who played the game did so on a version of the game *newer* than the one Matpat played. This one was sitting there from before said update, presumably where the bug was fixed, and the team just never updated it.
