I don't blame Matt for jumping off the couch. These jumpscares were top notch and honestly scarier than most of FNAF
Almost as FNaF 4, right?
Btw:did anyone else laugh at the 51:10 jumspcare
I think the best part of him getting jumpscared is the fact he climbs over the couch slowly
Some think they arent scary at all but for some they are the scariest shi ever
Me: "yay another episode of Matpat's Return to Bloody Nights playthrough"
Mat: sings a fnaf version of Coming Around the Mountain
that moment was great, especially with Ash clapping along as well. a genuinely fun little bit.
I literally read your comment while watching, thought “when does he do that” and he immediately started singing it 😂😂
I absolutely love seeing MatPat being genuinely scared by these jump scares
Also, anyone else noticed that when MatPat would stay on one screen for a long time it would start glitching a lot more or just me?
Yeah it's to stop people camping on the screen and 'actually play the game'
14:53 My personal theory as to why the Aftons are British is that Scott looked at the demographic map of the US and noticed that Utah has an unusually high rate of people with English ancestry and said "Heh wouldn't it be funny if the villain of my story was British?"
I mean, looking at the origins of the Afton family names, combined with the fact that 3.2% of people living in Utah had been born in the EU in the 1980s, it seems that they may be an immigrant family
That clutch win at 46:14 though was crazy. Such a rare, yet classic way to finish a night in anything FNAF related. xD
I just imagine the day shift guard strolling in mid-jumpscare, “Hey! No! Bad boy, bad! Back to your stage!”
Maybe a little, “His shift is over; let the poor guy go home” or “You’ll have another chance next time”
as the animatronic sulks back to the stage.
Ash’s “chomp chomp” during Matpat’s song was perfection👌
@@haleythecross-eyedtatterto8461
The song itself starts at 17:53
And the chomp chomp comes in at 18:11
I love how MatPat and Ash can talk about their sponsor for 10 minutes and still be entertaining. If this was any other creator, I would have spammed the fast forward button but i'll admit, I watched their entire conversation while smiling like an idiot.
I wanted an AirUp bottle right there and there. Sure, probably a third-party one since I they don't have any official vendors nor do they ship to where I live, but hey. MatPat sure convinced me about how it augmented his fence-building experience, and how it could do so to mine as well.
Matpat getting jump-scared at the last second but still getting it reminds me of the 5am at Freddy’s prequel 😂
@@SforSamPlays "You know what. There can't be two Freddys, right? FREDDY!"
"Yo."
"Well, now we have two Freddys in the room."
I got my comfy socks on and everything, I’m ready for some comfort vibes from MatPat playing this terrifying game 😂😂😂
The reason Afton is British is actually confirmed to be because the VA wanted his performance to be reminiscent of Hannibal Lecter, so not really lore relevant other than being a connection between the Afton family and a fun detail
Thanks for playing our game again! Hope you can beat it someday (*^_^*)
Again, to beat the game you need headphones, overwise cry in the corver >:D
Hope this gets seen but I've never seen him play a game with headphones no matter how necessary so 😔
I was not expecting Mat to just jump behind the couch from that jump scare lol.
@@Ect0foxsame, I came to the comments looking for other people who got scared 😟😅
“He’ll be chompin’ on our foreheads when he comes.”
“Chomp Chomp”
Matpat and Ash
-2023
This game has to be top 10 of the scariest yet most interesting FNAF fan games in my opinion.
Ash: *Jumpscared*
MatPat: *unfazed and was busy looking for lore*
Also them:
MatPat: *Gets jumpscared so hard that he jumps on couch*
Ash: *Unfazed*
Wow- Thanks for 132 likes!
348 likes?! Thank you guys!
412 likes?- wow!
To be fair, we don't know if Ash was TOTALLY unfazed, they just didn't audibly scream😂
As someone who doesn't watch Style theory because fashion isn't my thing, this intro without context is the most bewildering intro I've ever seen from a GTNotLive.
Here’s my pitch for why you should watch Style Theory: They merc a person using shoes
@@wyattrox11one of my favorite episodes...and my mom's cuz she's violent loool
I’m not into fashion at all. It’s more “lifestyle” or “hygiene” theory.
@@gracejordan110 That’s what appeals to me too. Interesting to think that it’s possible to shower wrong
MatPat: *jumps behind the couch to use as a shield against jumpscares*
Also MatPat: This is a couch I am commenting on the couch. Now my leg is commenting on the couch. This is a couch
Matpat climbs behind the couch, finally debunking my theory that the couch is against the wall. Now to write my theory how Matpat is trapped in a 2 dimensional reality that can only use his surroundings to ask the viewer to help!
😂😂 guys please get MatPat to see this comment and like it as proof of his theory
You just debunked that theory as well. Him going behind tge couch proves he's in a 3 dimensional space and not 2d
@@FNAFPlanetif things go in front of matpat wouldn't that imply that there is a dimension for depth make is so that there is a third dimension
The way matt sounds so teary when ash asks about his weekend is just so heart warming😭
Just graduated from high school today and I'm watching this in the car ride back home. Thank you Mat Pat for providing fantastic content through all of my school career. I can't wait to continue watching you as I figure out the rest of my life.
Yes congrats man! I graduated in may, and I can completely relate to you when it comes to being thankful for a good source of entertainment as I too figure out my life
Watching these sessions and I keep realizing how relatable Ash is to everyone.
You know what… maybe Ash is a cloned robot infused with REMNANT to embody everyone. But hey. That’s just a theory.
The intro already informed me of how good this is about to be.
They got MatPat in the time when he least expected it...
When he was listening to the LORE
MatPat "We went through part one without doing a lot."
The Game "And I took that personally."
Love that part when Ash was fangirling over Powerpoint, while MatPat was scarred for his life.Cant wait for part 3 and the theories and also I'm quite excited for the Hello neighbour video.
Have a great weekend everyone.
MatPat: "Life comes at you fast, man..."
Ash: "But Death comes at you faster." lol
dear ash,
1) my color season: autumn
2) my favorite summer flavor: watermelon
3) what color i’m trying to get my air up bottle to be: big fan of the soft lilac
sincerely,
the 1% that will actually answer all your questions in the comments even though matt said no one would
Completely unrelated to the video but I appreciate that Mat is still wearing the bracelets that fans made him
Everyone talking about Mat jumping behind the couch, but nobody talking about that killer song. @17:52
Ash's raving about Excel and being an "Excel Girlie" is a style of wholesomeness I didn't know I needed
46:13 is a totally awesome fnaf fanfic plot twist material. i think matpat really deserved that unexpected 1-inch-from-frontal-lobe-removal-win.
I love how Matpat trying to use new slang to sound hip and it sounds wrong but right, and Ash is just supporting it as a Gen-Z rep
We finally got an ash scream! And it was adorable! Just like her!
i love how mat hasn't learnt that he needs to actually listen to noises. that's taken quite awhile
18:20 Matpat always comes up with catchy songs the psychic friend fredbear is still my favorite🎶🎵😄
“Odysseus went on an odyssey. Odiferous went into my nose.”
-MatPat, 2023
I'm excited to see MatPat next episode of GTLive where Ash teaches him how to make a pefect powerpoint of the FNAF-Timeline.
It's so adorable that matt is still wearing the bracelets he got from fans.
Him color matching his air up bottle has me thrilled. She's Gorgeous.
My favourite transition in PowerPoint is "Morph". If you layer and edit it correctly, you can animate with it way more than the standard options. There are plenty of videos showing how to do it step by step, but prepare to have your slide count explode. Don't worry though, it's worth the effort and will impress.
36:53 - okay hear me out... listen to this part again where they're talking about perspective on the cameras, but listen carefully to the music. It fits so well! 😅
Of course you can fit them in a room. The Empire State building only has like 100 floors, so it would certainly be less than like 200 stacks floor to ceiling. That's plenty of room
Love Matt talking to ash about what matches their skin tone
I can’t wait to see matpat go frame by frame on his on video to find the secret messages
Matt patt hiding behind the couch is the perfect summary of witnessing the world rn
17:49, Sing your heart out Matt!
46:01, Most undeserved victory!
52:03, O.O (From the intro)
the CEO always reminds me of Cave Johnson, especially in the way he has a line along the lines of "Some people have questions about the safety of this job... and let me answer that question with a question. WHO WANTS 20 BUCKS" also his voice sounds so similar to Cave's
I know this recording is old but here are some tips for the more confusing animatronics:
The hide and seek bonnie hides its face in the cameras. When he's just standing in the hallway you don't need to do anything, but when he's right in front of the camera DON'T flash the door and close it. He leaves after frantically knocking on the door.
The "speaking" fredbear is on the left and works kinda like plushtrap. When he sits at the door you can wait a bit and then close the door. Just like the others he leaves after you hear a knock on the door.
(Also the puppet is BEHIND you not under so if you're by the puppet and you hear a knock on the left it's actually on the right and a knock on the right is actualy on the left. )
Can wait for him to realize that one of the extra modes is a 6 hour marathon with no breaks, there may or may not be lore behind it
Oh god, he's just exclaimed at his disdain for those 5 hours' worth of cut content in a previous FNAF Fan game stream. Telling him there's a mode that's EXPECTED to be 6 hours with no breaks in this game but with LORE is absolutely gonna shatter him, despite the fact that we still know that he's gonna do it for the lore.
I love how ash and matpat both made a song about a child dying to a robot bite 😂
When I heard Ash go on their rant about Excel, I laughed since I am certified in nearly if not all Microsoft programs like Word and Excel so I know EXACTLY what they mean when talking about fluidity with the cells.
good job MatPat you've found a game that finally scares you :D
7:06 Happy Birthday Ollie! I hope it's a great one :D
I literally was wondering when we would get a part 2. Super excited for this 👀
As a data developer, I can confirm Excel just hits different. Most of my analysis is done in R, but Excel and VBA are just incredible for making data entry applications, plus some excellent dynamic visualisation. PowerPoint is one I don't care for as much, but Excel I will die for, that is great software. I could talk about data analysis for hours ngl.
I think you would be able to fit an Empire State Building worth of stacked quarters into a typical room pretty easily. If the room's height is about 3 meters, then it's like 127 stacks 3 meters each. Idk how wide an American quarter is, but not thicker than a small pipe, which I have 2 in my room already so it's not that hard to imagine 125 more, and they fit
I was looking for a comment talking about this! Here's my thought process for the Quarter Question. For me, it depends on a lot of factors. For one thing, is the room furnished, or just like a big box? Because if it's furnished, then what kind of room is it? If it's like a bedroom with a closet attached, does the closet count as part of the room space? Is there stuff in the closet and bedroom? Or, what if it's a bathroom with a shower/bathtub? Does the shower/bathtub area count as part of the room, since there could be like a sliding door or the tub could be raised up? Also, is the room part of a house, in which case, could you open the doors to the other rooms to make more room for the quarters? Lastly, how are the quarters stacked? Is it like a pillar of quarters, or is it more stable, like a pyramid, because depending on that, you could have way more or way less quarters.
I've thought about this for too long lol :)
The diameter of a quarter is close to an inch, so ~25mm. If a standard room is 10ft x 10ft (3m x 3m), you could fit enough 3m stacks for dozens of Empire State buildings.
Ash is right about presentations. If you make them fun, people will pay more attention to the slides and it makes public speaking more fun. It's fun to make them and add funny memes or unique designs.
This may just be the scariest FNAF fangame in months maybe years
I personally love the witty banter throughout the episodes.
The banter is the best part of a GT live - the gameplay is just a means for that to happen
Of course the "REMNANT" girl has PURPLE veins
ash just up and simping over microsoft 360 in the middle of the episode out of nowhere is the strangely wholesome yet hilarious, chaotic energy i have come to expect from them, yet that exact energy throws me off every time
I love how Matpat takes weeks to come out with the next part of a series LMAO
If you think this is bad, it takes CZcams Animated series months to drop a new episode. (And they always leave off on a cliffhanger for some reason)
I didn't think i would enjoy listen to ash and matpat talk about the joys of powerpoint would be so enjoyable
Ash's passion for spreadsheets makes me love them even more. I feel so seen.
I love how matpat just jumps over the couch from the jump scare
Okay definitely never eating dinner while watching anymore; that jumpscare at 0:06 almost kILLED ME
34:40 My last presentation for an AP English class, included the screaming seagull meme within the first two slides and discussed the minutia of mental health. It was fantastic and I do not regret a single thing.
As someone who can't stop gushing about their home-made money-managing spreadsheet, I feel Ash's love for the Microsoft Suite on a spiritual level
Seeing matpad get jumpscared is so funny to me 😂
@heatherramirez6141 I was so confused for a sec, till I went back to the actual comment 😂
I love how the thumbnail looks like a game theory thumbnail instead of a gtlive thumbnail
My question about the quarter question is if the quarters are stacked vertical or horizontal. This is a hypothetical after all so if they are stacked on their side like most expect it is a lot of quarters but if balanced on their edges it would not be quite so much. :) Either way I think it is doable.
The gameplay is awesome as always, but as a builder, those are some pretty good guesses about your typical room size, closer to an 8 to 9 foot ceiling though, gotta remember that the floor and ceiling joists are included in the height of a story

Would't the measurement graduations on a blender jar be on the outside of the glass? Having them on the inside of the glass would introduce a disruption in the fluid dynamics of the vortex created by the blades.
Because I was very curious and intrigued by MatPat's question, i looked up the width of a quarter (1.75 cm) and the height of the Empire State Building (443.2 m) (including the antenna), pulled out my trusty calculator, and found out that the Empire State Building is about 25,325 quarters tall.
"A little bit of everything, all of the time." Love the reference, I watched Inside recently and it still holds up lol.
6:38 why did mat give such a frown after being asked what he did that weekend lmao
Haven’t even made it to the actual intended content of the video and I’m sitting here, 31, wishing MatPat was just telling me to go do things to take advantage of my time and the opportunities around me
I feel like the most important question to the quarter question is, does it have to stay in some sort of stack? Cause my immediate impulse is to just put them in a bunch of bags or bins which would easily fit in an average room...because it would probably be able to fit in any room with enough open space. And you can put them onto dollies to get them into the room.
Considering everyone else is doing calculations, I guess I wouldn't get hired lol
The fact that Matt can largely forgo swearing while playing these types of games is really impressive lol
Mat is slaying in those bracelets
Makeup wise, she can be either neutral or cool undertones 🥰💖
Fantastic. Spent the last 8 years getting over my fear of these things. Now the fear’s back. These f-ing jump scares.
I like how the picture of the doors is according to the animacronics that attack in that door. In the same position too, that's a cool detail!
MatPat going full circle to now working for Google but in the most badass way possible
I love how his reaction to getting jumpscared is to hide behind the couch
I would do anything to have a “Mattpat learns PowerPoint” being taught by ash in a video or stream
I LOOOOOOOOVED POWERPOINT as a student. Elementary school through college; you bet your bottom dollar if I had a presentation, it'd a PowerPoint packed to the pixels with transitions, fancy fonts, and moving backgrounds!
Ash and Matt are great together, I love the banter between y’all. Jason, Chris, MirrorMatt and Ash my beloveds
we should just get a GTLive of Ash teaching us about powerpoint
the sticky note on the fan changed to a code at 43:50 and if you put the code into the keypad on the same night it pops up next time, a minigame will be unlocked
I need yall to know that sometimes I only watch an episode because of the witty banter and what bits of it catch during the gameplay
bro's drinkin' from his air up bottle. Way to stay loyal to those sponsors.
You know its gonna be a good night. When your left home alone with your older brother and GTL posts
I calculated that approximately stack of quarters with the height of Empire State Building would consist of 78 thousand coins. And if we consider common room being 5x5x2 then it would have volume of 50 m3. That room would be able to place around 17,4 million quarters. So the answer is yes. It definitely would be able to accommodate that number and even many many times more than that.
I would love a mini series where Ash teaches you "How To: Microsoft Office" so that you can do the best things with office
You know the video is going to be good when MatPat jumps off the couch in the first few seconds
On God
That was the biggest overreaction I've ever seen lmao
This is absolutely true
