Seeing Mama Rabbit fry both MatPat and Markiplier's brain is easily the best part of these, there's a few other games by this dev as well, they're pretty good!
Putting aside Mama Bunny’s huge honkers, I love how she comforts her child until the end instead of scolding him. Character stuff like that gives this game a lot of charm.

I feel the same. Like, I was so wary of the change that Ash brought to the videos, but as soon as I heard them help gang up on Mat, I couldn’t help but to like them a bit more. I do wonder where Mirror Matt is though; I haven’t heard his sassy inputs in a hot minute.

Ash is such a perfect fit for this channel. I was honestly a little hesitant when she was first introduced, but I absolutely adore her now. I love how everyone in these streams just blend together in conversation so well, Ash really does fit right in perfectly here.

i think they have stuff prerecorded because if I remember correctly from their instagram story, they mentioned doing a lot of prerecording. i could be wrong

they have prerecordings
Don't worry, they rarely stray away from schedule due to the algorithm issues and unless it's a last minute trip they always do as much prerecording as needed
I remember them having done pre-recorded GTLives / GTNotLives before, and I think they've already done one in the context of a trip. I guess I just hope that there'll still be uploads, even if they'll be a lower amount.

Another kind word about Dad: I went to Game Grumps Live in Orlando, and he was the opener. He spent almost an hour before the show keeping the audience entertained by peeking out of the curtains in increasingly-creepy ways as well as walking through the seats and talking to people. He stopped like a row behind me, so I took a chance and asked him to deliver Dan and Arin a gift I had brought with only the smallest hope of it getting to them. He immediately agreed and was super nice and sweet about it, even asked my name so he could pass it along. Great man, absolutely lovely human being.
Okay real talk. Without the context of the Rabertson's a game where you're a single mother trying to protect your child from an intruder is actually super unique and terrifying. I don't know why but provokes something primal within me

I cheered when MatPat mentioned Babadook. Such a creepy movie and the book even FEELS just like it with the Dr.Suess style and Babadook's book even called him an "odd fellow". Loved that MatPat knew Babadook
There are game shows on YT, "Um, Actually" (which is a trivia show) and "Dirty Laundry", which some of it is locked behind premium but there are many "Um, Actually" episodes for the public and it goes really well with GT's whole thing since its a trivia thing for nerds
(EDIT: I FORGOT THE NAME OF "Game Changer",,, ITS ALSO A DELIGHT)
Game Changer's going to come out with a new show called "Make Some Noise" soon that's going to be people making sound effects competitively, and there's also Paranoia where there's a group of people and 1-2 of them are high and the game's about deducing who's high and voting them off for some kind of prize. And there's one more gameshow (Odd Man Out) that's about a group of people trying to find out who's lying about having/not having a particular trait/job/etc.
All in all, there's a surprising amount of game shows on youtube that haven't really blown up

As soon as you started talking about that boxing thing i just started laughing. One of my favorite movies "music and lyrics" has the male lead (a former member of a pop singer group) get a scene where they are approached by a company wanting to produce a show called "Battle of the 80's has-beens" where these suedo forgotten musicians would box each other and the winner would perform. It's not identical but the simularity is hilarious.
I just love Ash and Mat they always do funny things even out of context sometimes and I love that!
I loved watching Markiplier's video and I thought "Oh Mat has to play this on GTlive" AND WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT, 2 DAYS LATER, MY WISH HAD COME TRUE! I love this channel no matter what you upload here, I've been watching since the beginning of the Kindergarten Series! I've loved all 4 of the Theory channels for a while now! If you like the idea of solving a puzzle within a specific space, look up the Don't Escape series. I found that it feels very similar mechanically.

This game really reminds me of the game series "don't escape" that I've had really fond memories of. I would definitely recommend them and would love to see Matt attempt them.

This year has been especially rough, I'm coming up on the one year anniversary of my mother's death and no matter what I feel like I can count on you to give me something to smile about even if it's just for moment. To MatPat’s point on Game Shows on YT, Ludwig has done a few game show type things. It started on twitch, but the vods were posted here. Personally, I loved them.
I would like to recommend playing a nancy drew game. They are detective point and click games. I would specifically recommend the ghost of Thornton hall. It's an amazing game, and I would love to see your rection to it. 😊
those games are so old they probably can't run on modern computers without special software and even then it'll probably be a glitchy mess. (I've tried playing a game on my modern pc from 2001 it took forever to get it to actually run with special software and glitched out still at certain points)
@@tophatcat9996 some of them are old, but the most recent one came out in late 2019. The more recent ones, like Thornton hall, came out 2010 or 2011

Personally, I'd love a CZcamsr version of Match Game, but a version of Creator Clash that transforms into a Who Dunnit could be great as well.

Love how Ash continues the Legacy that Chris brought with his interpretation of the intro by doing their interpretation of the outro.
For YEARS. I have been trying to think of what song the GT Live intro reminded me of... and it took MatPat sing/humming it for it to HIT ME. The first few notes are from a youth group song we used to sing. "Blue Skies and Rainbows" :P Just the first 5 notes then it variates, but it boggled my mind forevah. :P
