Most boring organization is glory the organization brings kickboxing to a level it was never before since k1 Japan
Saki's punches were so freaking tight. No wasted motion.
Major fax, this dude is nowhere near Saki's level. This guy's a heavy brawler with a lot of wasted punches and limited technique.
@123Jaxjax He definitely reminds me more of a slim young B.Hari. Either way with the gym that he is at, his fighting instincts, and his genetics I'm sure he will be a dominant force in kickboxing for a long time.
I have to say while he is certainly a fine fighter with certain Tysonesque characteristics, his punching itself isn't terribly analogous to the great Mike Tyson. That's a tough standard to meet, especially for a fighter not focusing solely on his hands. To find something more comparable to Tyson, you'd need to find someone from boxing. When Tyson threw, he never looked like he was swinging, but more that his body propelled the shots and this fighter doesn't have that same body unity. It's like a guy swinging an axe. A pro is letting his body do all the work, while someone less capable looks like he's swinging more and wacking away.
He is a very fine fighter indeed, look forward to seeing his development and if he captures the title
he also has a very different build to tyson, way taller and longer, so of course his punches and style will look different
@@LawrenceKenshin breakdown is on point! Can’t wait to see this prodigy fight again
The defense is the big difference. While virtualy everyone with the ability to see acknowledges that Tyson has an incredible power and offense, most people don't realize, that Tyson's defense is up there with the best ever in any combat sport. Before splitting up with Kevin Rooney and letting Don King to destroy the greatest talant in heavyweight boxing, ever, he was never hit flush. I chalange anyone to show me who hit Tyson clean, with him not seeing and reacting to the punch. He was never out of position, no matter how hard he swinged
@@steveibiza5516 No, that's true too. It sort of defied what people normally associate with good defense. Not many super aggressive fighters had that kind of defense on the inside or on the way inside. But you're right, the closer he got to King and the further he got away from the Catskills crew, the less of that we saw, culminating in a reign that was shorter than anyone could have imagined. And the only time I ever saw him clipped was when some flailing dude got lucky with one out of like 20 punches thrown, maybe Reggie Gross a second before he was murdered, maybe Ribalta and Pinklon, but nothing too substantial.
Definitely more of a Badr Hari. I forget how good Tyson was and then watch the knockout compilation and it's truly scary. Look at clips of Tyson on the Arsenio Hall talk show, he looks like a 1970s bodybuilder. The fact he could move all that mass at crazy speeds and was super accurate and hard to hit is ridiculous.
Thanks for watching!
The closest too Tyson in Kickboxing was Zambidis second was Manoef both had short compact hooks and utilized uppercuts and overhands also masters at closing the distance.
What about Saki? Or badr ?
%100 agreed
Saki kills manoef
Awesome stuff again mate, thanks Lawrence and cheers from the Netherlands! Good to see another one of big Mike’s boys represented. Excited to see what will happen if Serkan fully takes the reigns of his own aggression in his hands and develops his arsenal even more. Osu!
Glad you enjoyed it
Mike Zambidis. Best Power puncher of Kickboxing of all time.
Pffff that guy was a beast.
If there any one close to Mike tyson it's Mike zambidis what a great fights the man give us
Another great video!
This is actually the next gokhan saki of kickboxing which in itself is very Impressive. Great video
Saki is a legend
Always enjoy learning about new and old champions..
Really looking forward to this card!
Great video of another great fighter, more great work Lawrence! Haven't fought him yet so I have no stories to tell at this time - was scheduled to fight him two weeks ago but woke up before entering the ring. With luck I'll stay asleep longer next time.
his evolution in glory is nothing short of impressive, exciting to see a saki and badr hybrid
I so love your videos ..... top quality stuff....ALWAYS
Thank you
I personally think that Mike Zambidis was the best puncher in kickboxing.
I agree.
Gökhan's technic was the best of all. Both his punch and kicks. 🇹🇷 🇹🇷 🇹🇷 🇹🇷 🇹🇷
Mike Zambidis is the Mike Tyson of kickboxing. They are both called Iron Mike
Hari made him looks easy . Saki always was smaller heavyweight but he is entertainning to watch.
I was already sold after only the intro. What a pressure fighter/knockout monster INDEED!
One of the best Middle weights of today is definitely a great fighter. I do think that Donovan Wisse is gonna take it into a decision win though.
Hope it’s a great fight !
This video goes hard. He is awesome
🔥🔥
Serkan is the real deal..
Nice video and i believe that he will be the next champ on 17 jun
cesar almedia kick his ass😂😂
Okay 😂
I love watching his fights. He knocked out my fellow countryman Braun in Essen city but I still like him 😁
Gökhan Saki ist die größte Legende aller Zeiten 🇹🇷🐺
Lawrence, with all your good technical analysis, how do do you tell if a gym is good or not to start training?
In terms of boxing/kickboxing what do you think is the best gym in atlanta? Or how would you recommend i find out myself? I have so many choices
What a beast man, had no idea he was gohkan sakis cousin. He certainly fights like him and badr. His name isn't as catchy tho, ngl 😅
Good thing you brought him up. Why do you think Saki did so abysmally in MMA even in the striking?
Because he joined mma way past his prime after several knee surgeries. And he didn't really take the time necessary to get used to the small gloves.
His guard relies on big gloves.
The ever present threat of the takedown.
His age when he entered mma.
His injuries to his knees always left him wary of the clinch in mma.
Lots of reasons. In his earlier career if he had transitioned I believe he would have been more successful, but waiting until he did the mma fighting style was at a point where his skill set wasn't as effective
Serkan heel veel succes broer
Serkan is an animal!
Damn! You don't want beef with that family
Please do a video on masato next
Aggressive, hard charger, that swings a bit wild at times and keeps his chin high?? DEFINITELY, don't think he should even be MENTIONED with the likes of Badhr or Saki.
never will come like Mike Tyson
Hi everybody this is a new full Tacnick man in fighters, Rapidly, strongman, intaligant, Raisisting, good nice fighter 👍💐🌹❤️🍁🇲🇺
Why do Dutch-based fighters change between SB Gym and Mikes? Same with Badr
Intelligence and strength make it always a win for him.
gokhan saki
Hey man just wanted to point out that ç in Turkish is pronounced like ch. The Ö is like the 'i' in 'sir' or the 'e' in 'her' , and ğ is more or less silent, but that one's tricky. So something like "Erzchalayan",
Please consider lowering the Background Sound
it’s much too loud to hear you talk over it ☮️
Thanks for the feedback
Gokhan saki is special never will be a fighter coming like him explosive techniqeu skills lightning speed..
Yes sir, thats right
Alistair Overeem has the hardest punch and the most power. I wouldn't want to be in the ring against Alistair Overeem, this guy is a machine. He reminds me of a robot. He knocked out Badr Hari twice and broke Gökhan Saki's arm. He goes into the ring and pushes his opponents who weigh over 100 kg away as if they were a fly.
I never knew Mike Tyson was any good at kickboxing
I am sorry but I cannot see neither good classic boxing nor good old K-1 kickboxing from times of Hoost, Aertz and many others. Glory kickboxing has evolved into a limited straght standing version of boxing with a couple of light low-kicks per round. Kickboxing from ONE promotion is much more technical and exciting to watch.
His style is very aggressive, with high pressure detailing an elite cardio. That said, his punches seem to lose technicality because of the power he is throwing at. His tempo is flat, and his body is exposed between every swing. That front leg dominance indicative of an aggressive striker is also a vulnerability against a tactician who could wether that storm.
Maşallah Allah bilegine kuvet versin
The guy is a foot taller than all his opponents
This is a MASSIVE advantage when knees are allowed short fighters cant move like mike tyson dipping low
Serkans a blood hound
Maybe I need to watch kickboxing more but he seems quite normal to me. I don't really see the Mike Tyson cross over but the Kickboxer does seem to bait people into guarding, by bursting them, and then he delivers a few different shots, such as the liver shot. Mike Tyson had much cleaner movement but perhaps that's due to the difference between kickboxing and boxing - I have no idea other than being gifted in pattern recognition. San Chai moves very well and so it's perhaps an anatomical issue in regards to the movement of the kickboxer looking unrefined.
Unstoppable til u fight the right oponent
You usually pick fighters to be the "next big thing" and they always end up getting KTFO lol
He's got a good left hook...
Bdar 🐐
Try Thai kick boxing, he'll get a kick right on his chest coming in 💪
Exiting to watch like Gokhan and Badr however he also adopted the same reckless traits as the later. He wings shots leaving himself open, if he continues to do so, 💯 guaranteed he’s going to get exposed at the elite level and he doesn’t throw enough kick for my liking.
The mike tyson of kickboxing is melvin manhoef
Saki kills manhoef so bad
Strange how Saki's kickboxing pedigree did not transfer to striking with 4ounce gloves.
It wasn't the gloves, it was the takedown threat right? Did he ever do 4 oz kickboxing?
holland style we are kings of kickboxing 100%
There's only one name for the closest thing to mike tyson in terms of kickboxing and everyone knows it, but he has many names ...
Its the Former 16x world champion, Greece's National Treasure and Knocks Out Artist, The Son of Ares, The Heavy Handed, Hands of Axe and Hammer, The Proud Dwarf of Greece, The King of the Mountain, The Stone Hands of Erebor, The Mad Oompa Loompa, He is the one and only "Iron Mike Zambidis" 🔥🔥🔥
Gokhan Saki got rekt in the UFC lol
Badr Hari is the best kickbokser on the world
Cingiz alazov is the best kickboxer on the world
can he beat rico?
Is rico middelweight
He’s been about for years
🔥🔥
Nah if anything, the champion - Donovan Wisse is alot more reminiscent of Tyson
Looking forward to the fight !
@@LawrenceKenshin Its going to be a guaranteed war bro
Nah bro. For about 10years Saki is known as kickboxing Mike Tyson
Definitely can see some similarities but a bit of a missed opportunity tbh, as someone below me said, one of the best examples of Tyson's style in kickboxing is iron mike zambidis, bar none
That’s honestly a bit of an insult to Mike but good for that dude
Bro you can't another an be Mike Tysoe how does that work
Name
Damn False Swipe Gaming let’s go….oh nvm
What’s that
Mike Tyson of kickboxing is mike zambidis… if you don’t know him do yourself a favour and get to know…
Zambidis was realy great
Very impressive but there's only one Tyson
There is One Michael
Are you kiding , TYSON destroyed his enemy with one clear hit!! This guy doesnt
Signature technique my ass... prolly the first thing you learn in boxing when you start sparring. 🤣🤣🤣
Great fighter but I still think, Iron Mike Zambidis was the kick boxing Tyson.
Im sry I like your videos much but Serkans skill and fight style and record has nothing to do with saki, hair or Tyson.
Nah i have train with serkan he is not saki and not close
That's right, saki is diffrent
Badar Hari is the best figher
💪🇹🇷
Not technical like Tyson or Saki. Completely different body type. Not really throwing massive combinations. He's a great fighter but i don't see the parallels.
Saki was special
Bro der is only one Mike Tyson
Love Saki but you gave him way too much credit in the intro. He lost to and never beat the great ones Badr (2x), Rico Verhoeven, Overeem, Sem Schilt, Bonjasky and even a 40 year old Peter Aerts.
Nah only tyson of kick boxing is decker. Hah
I See one kickboxer from Surinam kick him and brock the leg
Thats dreams
@@alican-nw1jc sorry my english is brok
Saki kick him
always fighter that the material is about is the best for joe rogan xd
Whatttt
The best turkisch fighter all time.
In holland he is not in the top 15.
No, he's not.

@@LawrenceKenshin love you muwa
Why must every fighter be called the next Tyson cause of His KO ratio?
Pfff it gets anoing 🥴
his sheer aggresion represents a lot like tyson
btw don't read my name
Very aggressive
Man you can do better than thumbnails with arrows, its rmbarrassing
i love the arrows
@@LawrenceKenshinme too👍
Sloppy strikes and poor defensive technique. So no
Nah Mike is one punch finish 😅😅😅😅
C'mon, really? Where's the kicking??? Might as well be boxers.
He is Armenian 🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🦁who live in turkey
Hahahahapuouhaaaa why he is armenian? Özcagla-yan?
Must be UK kick boxing, he won because his opponents don't know how to use their feet 😂😂😂
