    "Sniperwild" are a special type of Heartless that sometimes appear in 'Second District' of Traverse Town.
    They drop the "Power Stone", a material used for item synthesis.
    They come in waves of 1, 2, and 3.
    Attack them from behind and be wary of any still left roaming about.
    Do not get caught in their line-of-sight! If they spot you they will alert other Sniperwilds and attack you relentlessly until you leave the area.
    This method is simple for the most part. All you really have to do is increase your MP as much as you can, equip the "Cheer" ability to you and your party, and have Mushu available as a summon.
    Sora learns Cheer after clearing Pooh's Hunny Hunt with at least 100 licks, Block Tigger with at least 150 points, Pooh's Swing with at least 40 yards, Tigger's Giant Pot within 30 seconds, and Pooh's Muddy Path within 5 minutes, then speaking with Owl.
    Goofy learns Cheer after defeating the Parasite Cage for the first time in Monstro.
    Donald learns Cheer after defeating Maleficent in Hollow Bastion.
    Be careful, Sniperwilds can still be a tricky bunch even when you're fully prepared.

      +Amber Crystal You get Mushu's summon stone after defeating dragon Maleficent at Hollow Bastion.
      Then when you get the chance, talk to the Fairy Godmother in Traverse Town and she'll turn the stone into Mushu for you.

    What other strategies do you recommend for the people who DON'T have that much mp and that keyblade? I'm asking because I'm at level 86 and in the beginning of the game I chose the sword and gave up the magic wand.....

    I head right, glide over the other side of the gizmo shop where the ladder is, climb the ladder and glide back over the roof where the roof entrance to the 3rd district is, lock on and wait for them to come in range and thundaga they asses. It takes longer bc sometimes they jump away or stay in one place but eventually they come back and the items gravitate to me including the power stones. For some reason tho after going through a few waves, they end up spotting you somehow so I just dip out to the 3rd district. Rinse and repeat. But I’ll def have to try this method.

    Wish I knew of this before I spent so much time on farming the power stones.

  • @nerium.nerium
    @nerium.nerium Před 6 lety

    I did this at level 67. I found hiding around the corner in the alley that leads to Third District very helpful so you don't get spotted as easily. I am +Shield/-Sword. No cheer on Sora yet, Lucky Strike on everyone. Diamond Dust, Crystal Crown, Cosmic Arts, and Shiva Belt.

  • @GeneroMachina

    This doesn't do much on the highest difficulty, if you're only level 64

  • @colourismagical
    @colourismagical Před 8 lety +8

    This is virtually unrealistic, by the time I get to lvl 100 what is the worth in bothering to get the Ultima Weapon if not only for 100% completion purposes. I'll echo a couple of others and say if you find a way to do it at half your level, I'll be impressed. If not, at this stage the whole point of the enemies is rendered useless. Because at that point there really is no enjoyment in synthesising items.

      Ben Wadey bad game design. KH suffers alot from it. Its more logical in KH2 which improved those aspects of the game.

    How many sniper wilds can you beat? Or do they just spawn always

    • @itszigzag
      @itszigzag  Před 4 lety

      Not sure if there is a set amount but it's a odd chance they spawn. They get stronger after the first visit to Hollow Bastion so it's not a bad idea to go after them beforehand if it can be helped.

  • @Ekh0es
    @Ekh0es Před 7 lety +1

    This just doesn't seem to work unless you are a higher level. My summons are just too weak. Yes, I am using Lady Luck keyblade and accessories that increase magic and summon. I have Cheer equipped on both Donald and Goofy (I have yet to get that ability at level 58). Mushu is just too weak. It takes too many hits to kill just one, while the guy in the video was able to kill one in 3 hits or so.

    • @itszigzag
      @itszigzag  Před 7 lety +1

      This playthrough was started with "use the Shield, give up the Sword." The level in which you get said abilities may differ greatly. That being said, I understand the criticisms received with this video since this was done at max level, it was never my intention to "show off" like one user said (lol at that being the motive) but if I ever do a guide like this again I'll make sure to do so at realistic levels.

    • @Ekh0es
      @Ekh0es Před 7 lety

      Thanks for the reply. I also chose the Shield and gave up the Sword. Not sure why my summons are so weak. Only thing I can think of is I am a lower level. Great video though, definitely will help me out when I am a higher level.

    • @itszigzag
      @itszigzag  Před 7 lety

      No problem. I have pinned a comment that showcases their loadout at level 60 with the same "+shield/-sword" choice. Try that out and see if it works for you like it works for them. What difficulty are you playing on?

    • @Ekh0es
      @Ekh0es Před 7 lety

      I saw that comment. I equipped what they had and still no luck for me. I am playing on Proud.

    • @Ekh0es
      @Ekh0es Před 7 lety

      A method that worked best for me was just using the Stop ability and then wailing away at them/using Stop again whenever it wore off. I gave Goofy/Donald a bunch of Ethers so they can replenish my MP. I was able to get one Power Stone. So far this is what worked best for me.
