Guide to All of the New Exclusive Heartless in KH Final Mix - Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX

- All of these new Heartless drop rare materials needed for synthetizing some of the Moogle's items at its shop. If you're looking forward to collect all the trophies for this game, then prepare yourself and learn as much as you can about these new enemies.
Note: About the Pink Agaricus, in the original Kingdom Hearts Final Mix you could reach 100 points. But the new command reaction system introduced in the HD ReMIX clashes with the system of calling Donald and Goofy to let them attack a target enemy. And since every attack from Donald and Goofy makes the hit counter decrease, we can't normally reach 100 point.
Remember to keep your Encounter Plus ability enabled when hunting for these enemies.

I know this video is old but I just found out in the ps4 version hitting triangle during ragnarok on the pink mushroom doesn't make goofy and donald attack anymore, they fixed it :D

Liezl Bohnen you know what the sad part is? without even knowing what they were, I got the prize, and kept killing more of them, thinking "HOW MANY OF THESE THINGS ARE THERE?!" And then I didn't know that once they spot you, they become invincible, and I finally said "SCREW IT! RETREA-" and got killed.
I also encountered the black mage, but had no idea how to tell them apart. >_
Liezl Bohnen yeah that happened to me a few times. I didn't know they were unlimited in their spawning and was hoping that this new enemy would stop, but no. Got my ass handed to me instead.

Those tuto videos are just amazing. All the little details such as the target searching and the fact that you used keyblades for each world. It really shows how much quality you want your videos to have, and that is great =) Keep it up!

i never noticed neo shadow weren't in kingdom hearts 1 which is weird since there in chains of memory
Yeah, Neoshadows were an addition to KHFM, but it was since a mainstay in CoM.

These videos are really helpfull and really excite me for its release and being as im abit of a troohy hunter this video will be very helpfull in the future as being as i wont to obtain 100% completion and definitely not going to memorise all these locations so I will watch this again when its out :)
I actually HAVE found a strategy for the Chimera:
- go to the Manor Ruins as usual, using the Red Trinity at the gate as a mark of location (if it's there, no Chimera)
-defeat the 3 waves of Wight Knights as usual
-when the Chimera appears, summon Bambi. 2 reasons: 1. To refill your MP, and 2. To get rid of Don and Goof
-cast Aeroga on Sora and just ram into the Chimera till it reaches a sliver of HP. Recast Aeroga as necessary throughout the battle.
-once there, stand a good 10 feet/3 meters from the creature, and fire a Thundaga to finish the first HP bar.
-once its heads are out and you're a fair distance away, stand still, with Aeroga still on, and just Guard. Each head should bounce off either the key or the wind. Keep at it till each color is reflected 3 times.
-collect your prizes, then follow the Chimera to whichever platform it jumps to. Take out the gargoyles with Thundaga.
-Repeat this process until it's defeated. This guarantees 2 Stones, with 3 more possible by luck.

ugh... synthesis grinding is NOT worth it in this game, it was fine in the original, but then they botched it up with final mix... i wish these new heartless were never created T-T

100% agree. I was cool with doing this once on Ps3 but doing it again for the Ps4 is killing my vibes lol. I also did this in the original and it was 100% more fun synth grinding.
I like how the icons within the Journal for these enemies are different than in the original Final Mix version! :)

Very nice video. Although I never get to beat the Sniperwilds, it's so annoying. But the tip for the Black Ballads really helped (stopping the screen). And luckily the Pink Agaricus doesn't disappear that quickly because I always spent minutes watching it twerk

I've heard on some sources there's actually a trick to disabling Goofy and Donald to follow you on your assault, leaving you to attack the Pink Agaricus alone. (It's a trick rather than an in-game function however)

I just saw how Donald is flying in Neverland ... :facepalm:
The secret boss is Xemnas if I remember correctly and can be found in the place in Hallow Bastion where you fight maleficent as a dragon. He's pretty hard though so be sure to be at a high level before you try him. You can also look up KHFM secret boss on this site and watch someone fight him so you can get an idea of what he's like.

I have a question, for Pink Agaricus couldn't you just keep casting stop on it after you hit it once to be sure that it stays frozen a certain amount of time, or does stop not work like that?

If I may give some advice for first time players. With the special Heartless, I'd reccomend using the Bambi summon if you have it just so that way it saves you from using an Elixir or an Ether for all magic and abilities like Strike Raid and Gravity magic (which won't work on the Neoshadows like EG said) for example. Helped me VERY much going through this game synthesizing the Ultima Weapon keyblade.

About the Pink Agaricus, why isn't Ars Arcanum a good technique? (I haven't played the HD Remix?, does the same happen with the reaction command? (Being the triangle button)
No, because of Ragnarok´s Impact Finishing move.... it´s an explosion that delivers around 10 or so hits, so it´s way better than Arcanum... tested this myself...

Yeah when i first fought the chimera, i was surprised to see this new heartless. Plus it was proud mode, and i was only using the kingdom key
The hardest ones to kill it seems will be Sniper Wild, Black Ballade, and Giga Shadow. How many of each item will you need total for synthesis if you plan on synthesizing all items?
They come back, Deep Jungle between the Tent and Cliffs was my favourite grinding ground cause the bouncywilds drop a load of munny and I always ran into them going back and forward through the areas. It's just chance when you go into the area if they will appear or the original heartless will, but I've found (least in 1.5) if there's a FM enemy located to an area 8/10 times going through it it will be the FM ones that appear over the original.
Question could you go back and find these enemies anytime?? or if they dissapear is it for good like the Black Ballade? cause i messed up on that guy
quick question, do you have the exact Odds or Method for a Jet Balloon Encounter? because of my two run throughs they are the only Heartless I have yet to Encounter.
Sniper wild is sooo aggravating
In HD 1.5; he does a trick that involves gliding around and summoning Bambi that gets Donald and Goofy stuck somewhere long enough to finish the 100th hit.
Are these heartless super rare or how long did it take to encounter them ?
I have a question: considering the Final Mix trophies, it says not to change equipment. I know that means the keyblade, but what about accessories? because i started FM beginner mode, and the EXP necklace and Ribbon were automatically on.
does that mean i can never change accessories, or...?
