I don't even know how and why but I really felt the need to do something special to be uploaded to my channel, something that would be able to show you my personal meaning of the following word: "thanks".
Thanks to all of you who are still behind my videos since 2007, both old and new people.
Thanks to all those people who, even after passing onto this new channel, kindly helped me to get back the support that I've lost since then.
Every single one of you contributed to obtain this result, even with just a click, but I've met a lot of wonderful people thanks to this channel and I am experiencing tons of amazing opportunities. I can definitely say this - Kingdom Hearts really changed my life.
This is a video I made just for you, an expression of my message. I am sure you will notice how much work has been put into this. I recorded 68 bits of battles videos in total without any screen bars and syncing them all together with music/the action proved to be a hard challenge. In the Luxord, Zexion and Demyx sequences (and even during Roxas' Reaction Command The End) it was really hard, since I couldn't see anything on the Command Menu and decide my next move. I do want you to catch some little things that I carefully did though, like some moments of the music perfectly syncing with Sora's attacks, or some extra dialogue quotes fitting the moment. They are all planned. I constantly moved the camera on different angles to make the battles seem as much cinematic as possible.
It's been a huge work, but I am very proud of the final result.
In short, this video represents the maximum expression of what I have been doing for these 5 years: making videos in a way that could entertain you, that people normally wouldn't do; making special videos that can catch your eye; videos that can make you hold your breathe; this is my love for Kingdom Hearts.

I won't lie when I first saw that the game had Disney characters in it I didn't get it because I thought it suck. When I saw someone playing birth by sleep I loved the game. I played every game and beat every game except recoded

When I first heard about Kingdom Hearts, I was weirded out by a 358/2 Days commercial which made me not interested.
But one day, I was on the computer watching games when I stumbled upon a random kh walkthrough.
Before I knew it, I was sold when I saw a boy holding a “key sword” fighting alongside Disney characters against famous Disney villains. To me, that was the coolest thing that I saw in my entire life.
Nobody introduced it to me so I was watching the story in a random order for a little while. I watched some of kh1, didn’t know of CoM until later on, and skipped much of the kh2 prologue because I thought it was boring. I honestly didn’t know that BBS was a prequel and was confused at times. Then DDD happened and that confused me a lot. Because of this order, much of the story beside kh2 was spoiled for me. I got used to it and I still enjoyed the series once I was older and gained better clarity.
The point is that I loved Kingdom Hearts so much and defended the criticism that it’s convoluted.
I’ll admit that KH3 was my first kh game but that’s because I felt embarrassed about buying a kids game. Although I watched a little bit of a walkthrough, I was compelled to play the game myself and it was worth it and tried my best to not get spoiled.
In short, Kingdom Hearts despite being mocked by its confusion would always be my favorite RPG of all time.

@Abdelmalek, you see, the whole video was based off the music I inserted in. The animations of the Organization members being defeated are very long, like 10 seconds, and I really couldn't do that 13 times. This was a pretty delicate project where every details counts, and my goal was syncing everything (battles, music, actions, even the sound of the attacks themselves) as much as possible.
Your channel literally made me subscribe when I watched this on your homepage. I had it fullscreen and when the vid ended. It didn't even ask me to subscribe, it just did. lol

What's scary about this video, barring the awesome editing, the fact that you breezed through the game in Critical/Proud mode with no HUD and your exclusive use of the Kingdom Key, is the length : whether it was accidental or on purpose, you managed to keep it at 13:07, referencing both the 13 Seekers of Darkness and the 7 Guardians of Light.

I'm only a casual fan of this series. What gets me into a series is generally certain characters I resonate with that have interesting and developmental things happen to them. At first I really liked Riku the best, I tend to go for the angsty badass characters. I figured Sora was just some sappy day dreamer. But what struck me as I played all the games was that he was constantly depicted to be the strongest character in the KH universe. Stronger than all the afflicted, hardened warriors of XIII, all the heartless, King Mickey, any of the Disney villains, stronger even than Xehanort. And by a small margin, stronger than Riku. Yes I know, technically his powers were "stolen" from Riku, but that's not entirely true. His powers come from all of those he's met and touched, starting with Ventus. And what allowed Sora to grow like that? To have infinite potential? His heart. He has the biggest heart in the universe. He's not some overly optimistic cheesy protagonist, he's just as emo as anyone else in the series at times. But he believes in his friends, and even in his enemies. He doesn't have the strongest muscles, the fastest legs, the most unfathomable natural power, he's just some kid. But because of his inner strength and boundless compassion, there's no limits to what he can do. KH is the ultimate underdog story, but it's hard to tell because it's locked up in all the intrigue and drama.
Makes you wonder how Sora was like before the series.

The heart is were the strength of the person comes from the bigger your heart the more power you can call from it it is we're we go when the people care for need our help and when you learn to master it work with and call for it when the time needs it you can unlock a power you can not believe!

@Psn Runfromitall Give them... a bit. Maybe they'll add more bosses in a DLC. Keep in mind that the Organization XIII bosses weren't in the original release, but the Final Mix (or like half of them weren't).
But I can agree that the fights felt underwelming in KH3 compared to the Organization.
And hell, I want a Lingering Will-like super boss in KH3. The game has many possibilities

To me, Kingdom Hearts has always been the *Epitome of Epic Boss Battles*! That bone-chillingly orchestral music, dizzying visually appealing fights with their uncanny odds seemingly against you! There is literally nothing more I could ever fathom is just how Kingdom Hearts is such a 🌟Fantasia of Awesomeness🌟 that really makes you feel more like a true hero.
Visually appealing is right. The kh games have held up extremely well due to their stylization, and the boss fights are still some of the most memorable in my opinion. I've only recently begun to appreciate how wonderfully the particle effects are done- so impressive considering when it was made.

The kh2 team were geniuses. The amount of detail in this is crazy. Drive forms>form changes .
I disagree
Drive forms were pretty useless. The only use they really had was to give Sora's normal form abilities by leveling them up, were locked out in most of the fights in the game that they would've been useful for, and quickly got to the point where they actually made Sora worse when he used them. Form Changes on the other hand are massively more practical because they're integrated into the combat system with the intent to actually use them.
@@immortalfrieza i think drive forms (especially valor and master) are good for combat. Limit is good for thr situations on your own.
Form changes were cool, i just wish there was abit more variety in them (a few form changes were just reused between keyblades. E.g. the dual shooter type was used twice)

You know I see something epic like this and it reminds me that this all started from "What would happen if Final Fantasy aspects met Disney?" All this underlines the happy disney aspect, and something related to disney can be this freaking epic. Well he didn't fail because he wasn't strong enough. He is for damn sure stronger than Riku but being powerful isn't all there is to it. Riku became a keyblade master because Yen Sid saw his growth and maturity as a person and as a warrior. Hence why Riku passed the test and Sora didn't. Sora has some growing up to do
You know, I actually agree that Riku has grown as a person and that Sora has some growing up to do. Both valid points.
All the same, I would have thought that defeating Organization XIII, stopping The Seeker of Darkness from destroying the Worlds, and all the good he's done on the worlds he's traveled to were escapades and accolades that would make Sora worthy of being a master. Not to discount the good Riku has done, but I honestly feel he's striving to be something more like Sora (as a person.) That shouldn't discount Sora's growth as a warrior, even if he hasn't grown as a person. He's already what a lot of people strive to be.

Well in DDD Riku accomplished more and he was able to redeem himself from the events of the first game.
Becoming a master has less to do with skill and more to do with your heart's ability to stay pure in the face of darkness During the Mark of Mastery exam, Sora allowed himself to become overwhelmed by the darkness, making him unworthy.

Having never personally fought Larxene, the snippet of the fight you showed where she does that row of electric orbs, and then the clones and the dashing thing inspired absolute fear in me. Lexaeus and Larxene. The prospect of fighting those two strikes the most terror into me.
Lxeaus isn't that hard, just know when to use reflaga or block, but yeah, Larxene is a bitch

Ever, this is a masterpiece. The editing and footage is so well done, especially with the fight against Xehanort. When Sora and Riku were using their special move, you gave it the "flashback" kind of feeling. This is probably the best I've seen from KH

Seeing all these together makes you realize how awesome and varied the boss fights of kh2 are.
You melded the different drive forms together so well I had to go back 5 seconds and make sure I actually saw his clothes change.
Watching this in 2018. Very impressive.
I like Lea and Isa as much as the next Kingdom Hearts player, but I feel like IX through XII are in dire need of their own backstory. X: Luxord seems like he'd be the owner of one of the many Square Enix casinos like Gold Saucer or Serendipity. IX: Demyx and his laid back attitude makes for a good character to empathize with before losing his heart. XI: Marluxia has probably always been a cold and calculating manipulator, and that's got villain written all over it. It also makes me wonder whether he and XII: Larxene knew each other prior to losing their hearts and whether he had influence over her sadistic personality. I hope at least one of them is picked to fill one of the 8 remaining seats on the True Organization XIII.
I heard a theory that Luxord is a member of the True Organization since the other three members of the original Organization that have been revealed to be part of the True Organization are all fought in the World that Never Was, which is also where you fight Luxord. And it does make sense, as unlike Demyx he's not lazy as heck, and unlike both Marluxia and Larxene he was never plotting to overthrow the original Organization, the two things it's implied made several members of the original Organization unsuitable.
Doctor Nobody I doubt that: they gave hints about who would be on the True Organization XIII since there's one thing that all the members had: the same eyes as Xehanort (i.e eerie yellow ones) So, unless they change them into part of Xehanort while human now, I highly doubt any other member of the first Organization would be sitting in those chairs
Doctor Nobody If it were up to me I'd pick Luxord in a heartbeat (no pun intended). Out of all the Organization, he's easily the most qualified. Calm and collected like Saix without lunar rage, smart and calculating like if Vexen suddenly grew a pair, had one of the best fights in the game and his Reaction Command is really difficult for players with finger lag. You are a Godsend to this community.
The entire collaboration shows how Sora can handle almost ANY situation thrown at him. Through each fight with Organization XIII, he has used multiple solutions to dealing with their attacks, such as Drive Forms not commonly or are commonly used, the foe’s own weapons and attacks and most importantly, the power given to him by his friends.
What gets to me the most is the end of it all, when both Sora and Riki are weakened greatly. Seeing the situation before him and with one last push of power, Sora manages to put a complete stop to Xemnas’ actions, ending the fight to the death. It’s signified by how the music is handled as well, growing silent and then going full force for the last few seconds of it, which I find very nice.
I hope to see something of this caliber for KH3 and it’s organization, along with any other boss fights included.

I remember the boss battle at the end of KH2 (last battle of this clip) and having goosebumps and stress sweating. Still to do this day one of my favorite video games because of the story, the battles and the music
