The Darkball's enemy card effect is "Duel Trigger"; no matter what value card Riku plays while an enemy's attack card is displayed, he will trigger a duel. Sora can't duel enemies like Riku can, thus why Sora cannot get the Darkball enemy card. Hopefully at least a few people will see this comment before they start trying to farm Darkballs as Sora for their enemy card (which he will never get), even if it's a few years too late for several people.
Too Late. I spent 8 hrs farming this card on Sora's story before reading this comment. Welp, at least I got to collecrt many attack cards for my Sonic Rave sleight deck.
I grinded a few hours until I stumbled across your comment, thank you for saving even more time I could have potentially wasted.

In the original GBA version you could acquire the Darkball card, very frequently in my experiences. However, the cards effect was purely for the VS mode where your deck is obscured from the other player. Completely useless against the normal Heartless and the C.O crew. Still, wish they would have added a different effect for it in Sora's story. Having it left out makes the completionist in me very annoyed.

I found that using Magnet Spiral in earlier floors work wonders for Black Fungi. Nice to know the exact chance boost for using Looming Darkness and those other chance boosting rooms.

I went back to 358/2 days, and I watched the whole film interrupted, looked at all diaries and secret reports again, and the dynamic them unlocked, and when I opened the calm bounty in Traverse Town, I got Maverick Flare. Finally!

I had the same issue. Try going to chapters and watching the final cutscene again and I think it should unlock the characters option. Look through all the characters and you should unlock the 358/2 days theme and then it'll be considered truly complete.
I`m not getting enemy cards with teeming darkness is that normal
Hey, I'm noticing that you're missing the Gold Card. I dunno what the requirement is, but I got it from a Calm Bounty on the 13th Floor as a Clear Bonus.
Do you still get the Mushroom card if you soft-reset, after you killed them all and they didn´t drop aynthing except normal roomcards? Can you beat up the Black Mushrooms like any ohter heartless aswell? Or in the same way you have to kill the white one?
Although Darkball's card were in Sora's story in the GBA. In Riku's story you just have this card in Re:CoM in Atlantica instead of the Sea Neon card.
So I found out for those who don' t know, you don't have to start a new game after completing Days to get the rest of the cards, I'm still using the first playthrough and I'm getting them all. Fact is I didn't get the Maverick Flame in Traverse Town from the second reward in Room of Rewards, I got one of the Organization XIII enemy cards there (I forgot who). I'll check again for the Maverick Flame.
You get the Maverick Flame after complete Riku's story in Traverse Town. That's when I got it.
Do I have to start traverse town first if so when I have the key to rewards card?
How exactly do you get the other attack cards? Not the 358/2 Days ones, but the ones Sora has, like the Spellbinder card and the others?
Oh yeah, I follow your logic and it does make sense :) But I believe the enemy card drop rate is not influenced by anything else other than the map card you use, and the same applies for dem white mushrooms!
How do the Treasure rooms work? Like will I guaranteed get all the cards if I open them all or do I have to farm them or something? (Im playing on PS4) For example according to the wiki the Destiny Island second chest can give you either Photon Debugger or Two Become one do I have to open it multiple times or do I get both?
If you defeat the enemy by almost defeating with it's hp low do u still get the card

How do you get the Random Joker card? I haven't been able to get one in Either of my Proud mode files, even keeping space clear for said card.

@@paintsniffer401 I don't blame one bit, I've played re:chain of memories for about an hour and I'm already considering dropping it, the story's good, but the gameplay... God dam is it BORING! This is what happens when you combine a action game with a card game.
But let me hear a suggestion from you, should I skip it and just watch the cutscenes? Or do I power through it and play the game to completion? (I thought about doing 100% but after reading the requirements... NOOOOOOOOPE!!!!! No way in hell am I doing it [more power to whoever did it though]).
@@erickbrites642 I don't think it's worth playing something you don't enjoy for 60+ hours so I'd say you skip it and watch the cutscenes, and if you want you could come back to it sometime in the future

For anyone who is trying to get the black fungi/fungus card. I recommend going it Traverse Town, you have way BETTER luck there.

Any tips on getting the Neoshadow card? That whole floor is just ridiculously hard. I've read tips on how to clear it normally, like with Trinity Limit and Mega Flare (even though that doesn't work against the elemental heartless), but I don't want to use those because there's a chance you won't kill a Neoshadow last. I've been trying to just use all level 9 cards, but that forces me to ignore all the stats of each keyblade for strike/thrust/finisher, and so the battle goes on waaaay too long...
How did you get oathkeeper and diamond dust and oblivion? :p I'm having a hard time finding them :/
Nevermind. Just realized that sora does not get the darkball card at all. No was actually missing the crescendo heartless. All that time wasted farming for darkballs

Today I just came to a horrible realization. In kingdom hearts final mix, in order to platinum the game you had to beat it 3 times. In re chain of memories this is doubled because of both sora and riku's stories. So what im getting at is that when birth by sleep final mix is released in 2.5, in order to platinum that game one would have to beat it 9 times because of terra, aqua, and ventus's stories.
when the 2.5 hd remix comes out it will be with the final mix version. that as well contains the 3 main stories, the last episode and the new secret episode, total of 15 times to beat, gonna be a looooooooong time to beat all of them :P

Actually, it's not that bad, but it's also worse. There are actually 4 difficulties, however, the time it takes for you to complete all 3 stories, the final and secret episode is about the length it takes you to complete a normal kingdom hearts game.
Yall are forgeting in 2.5 kh 2 and birth by sleep will both have 4 difficulties. And there are 4 characters all together. Sora, Ven, Aqua, and terra. So if they make it a trophy to beat the game on critical (which they most likely will do) then there will be a minimum of 13 playthroughs to a maximum of 16 playthroughs (depending on whether they decide to make it a trophy to beat critical with each character or just one.
We don't know that for sure yet, KH2FM & BBSFM are so much more longer games than KHFM & RCOM, maybe they won't do it that way with that one, but don't hold your breath, just keep your fingers crossed.
A question about riku's story rewards: can i find them in my previous save file? Or i need to start a new game to get them?
Michele Di Tolla jeez i'm probably super late but you don't need a new game, just reload your previous one and you should get the cards. Note that it might not come first try though ^^

I have done everything for 358/2 days, as well as rikus story and soras, and starting a new save block, yet there is only ONE CHEST. Idk what I am doing wrong. I have exhausted all online resources to figure out my fault.

This is a very late answer but If you still wanna know the best way to get either card is as a reward in a roulette room.
Roulette rooms, make it very easy. Make sure to grab a roulette .card after spending one, so you can keep farming if need be.
I've completed Sora and Rikus story can I just go back on Soras game after watching the cutscenes to get the rest of the cards?
I saw you mentioned that Create a couple of random cards. Don't forget Pluto, he count towards Trophy as well. Does Pluto cards pops in battle when you create a couple of random cards? sorry, i am confused.

That wasn't quite 100% you'll need to open up two more calm rooms for the gold and plat card after completing the collection.

Le rooms of reward mi appaiono sempre con 1 solo forziere... Perché? Forse perché durante la storia tornavo indietro ad aprirli anche prima di finire la storia con riku? Tu parli di 358/2... In the GBA White Mushrooms have lots of HP, compared to the Black Fungi. This seems to be reversed here
Maybe this is a little late, but I have been playing COM, been leveling up Riku and trying to get the elusive joker card, I am now LV90 and I have yet to see any joker card, am I doing something wrong because with Sora I got 4 joker cards...

Regarding the black mushroom and the white mushroom, you advise me to use all the cards I have and then, if I do not get their card, turn off and on the game? Or count just on luck?
+lpallad1 Use the sleights Warp or Warpinator on the White Mushrooms and Mega Flare on Black Mushroom in Traverse Town to help make it better to help deal with them (create a deck to use these sleights 2-3 times or more and at least a high-level item card that can reload normally unreloadable cards. It still requires luck, but this will wrap up these fights quicker to help make it less irritating. Also for White Mushroom, if two or four appear, just reduce it down to one to help make it easier for Warp or Warpinator.

Can someone help me? I've gotten all the trophies I need except for get all cards for sora. All I need left are a few enemy cards such as the sea neon and power wild. I've beaten sora and riku's campaigns both on proud mode for this playthrough and I can't get these fucking enemy cards for shit. I've reloaded sdave and everything and have fought for hours. PLzzzzzz help
