I dont know if anyone else needs to know this but what is VERY important to note is that the length of the spell STOP is tied to how large Sora's MP bar is so make sure you equip all magic boosting equipment to him before to get as much time from stop as possible

I found that using divine rose helped me a bunch with those heartless. The way I do it is to jump down from the hotel side and strike then as they spawn. That way you can get them all at once. Also equip encounter plus that helps too. Hope that helps :)
Super old vid, but I haven't seen anyone say it so I will, but I've fought the mushrooms multiple times without them being on that first initial road you come in on. So always walk forward to spawn the heartless to be sure. Just because you don't see the mushrooms doesn't mean they haven't spawned.
An important thing to note regardless of what weapon you picked at the beginning: this can be done with Stopra. I've gotten Serenity Powers without beating Phantom at the clocktower. The duration of Stop spells is the equation: Time = (Maximum MP) + 2. This means Stop will last longer the more MP you have. Make sure to equip a keyblade that raises max MP by 2 and use all accessories to boost your MP as much as you can. He's at level 100, but I've done this at level 60 (chose Shield, gave up Staff). The duration should be long enough to get a 70 hit combo with Ragnarok/Aeroga combo performed twice.
After my complaint, i changed my equipment to add more mp. Got 1 serenity power on the next try with 73 hits. Went again, got 54 hits & 3 serenity powers. Wtf
This guide was the only one I found that really told me how to properly reset the enemy spawns, with both this and the giant heartless in Alice's world. Major thanks for that alone

There is one more spot the white mushrooms spawn in this area. On mine they can spawn on the platform above the boat. I suggest heading up to the roof and gliding to that platform. You can see it from the roof if it is there.
Same abilities like the video, the prompt to use ragnarok doesn't pop-up.. It does only with flying enemies. And I always point at his head, but nothing :(
If you picked "sword" at the beginning you dont get it till level 90. They changed the order in which you get abilities between shield, staff, and sword at the beginning
This took me some time and practice to get the hang of it. Don't give up! This is what I did-I took herpty dumpty's advice (from comments) and I used weapons and equipment to add MP. I used weapon Lady Luck. I equipped Moogle Badge, Ray of Light, and Exp Ring. In addition to using the move Ragnarok, I also used the move "impact" that comes right after Ragnarok. After impact, I switched to attacking the body (can switch by pushing L2) four times. Then I repeated all this a second time. After the second attack wave, I stopped attacking and just kept distance from enemy. Here's entire attacks> Before anything, make sure Magic meter is at 100% by using ethers. 1. Cast Aeroga on self. 2. Cast Stop on enemy 3. Aim for head. 4. Use Ragnarok and then impact (will see right after ragnarok.) 5. Switch to body by pressing L2 6. Only attack four times. 7. Push L2 to switch back to head and attack with Ragnarok and Impact. 8 Push L2 and attack body 4 times. 9. Step away and do NOT attack. At this point will see enemy dancing.
If you jump down from the tree house to the tunnel, save, go though the treetop, go through the climbing trees and then back to the tree house. The mushrooms will respawn every time. Make sure you don't spawn any enemies in the climbing trees. (Glide your way over to the treehouse entrance)
Yo how come the floor isnt broken there for you? My pink agaricus keeps dropping onto the nets because my floor is broken there. I didnt know about locking onto its head so now that i know that i should be fine.
Okay I need HELP. I can not for the life of me get the darn thing. I have tried to follow what you are doing but instead of Ragnorak showing up it brings up strike? The most hits i've been able to get where barely in the 20's.. what should I have all my abilities set on etc? I cant summon any character for some reason I've seen people say to summon Bambi but for whatever reason I cant summon any character. I am loosing my mind and have spent hours just trying to get the serenity power, power stone is just impossible for me as well and for whatever reason mystery goo is a long shot too because I cast one spell on them and they go away, they dont let me do it 3 times? Please HELP me!

I got 2 SERENITY POWERS from 1 PINK AGARICUS using Lady luck, Ray of light, royal crown, and magic armlet! Sora and Goofy r lvl 70, Tarzan is 69 and Donald is 68 and I also equipped Lucky strike to BOTH DONALD AND GOOFY TOO! but sadly Sora and Tarzan DONT have lucky strike yet :(

Stopga gives you more time, but it can be done with Stopra for sure (I did it). 40 hits is the bare minimum for Serenity Power, but if you can get 60-70 with Stopra (and it's really not too hard with Aeroga + Ragnarok), you should get a decent drop rate. I would say it took me about 20 minutes or so to farm up about 10 Serenity Powers with Stopra. But of course with Stopga, 100 hits is pretty easy and will guarantee a drop every time.
+Arlo This is actually false, upgrading Stop does NOT increase it's duration, just the range. The duration that it lasts (and for Aero too) is based on your Max MP, so the more MP you have the longer it lasts, even with just Stop (Time = Max MP + 2 for all Stop spells). Naturally, choosing the Dream Rod gives you the longest time since it gives you 2 extra MP in the end. Diamond Dust is also recommended over Ultima bc it gives +3 MP instead of +2.

Finally someone explains what the hell to do. I always aimed at the body and wondered why the hell I never got Ragnerok.
You need to aim at the head. Sora leaps into the air to perform this ability so it isn't in the air if you target the head

Chasity Shull if it says strike that means you have strike raid on. Unequip that and equip ragnarok.

You shouldn't leave the tree house so early, white mushrooms don't have to be visible, just walk up and the comman box will turn red
despite the asspain...still a good way of farming exp and potions..
