      Tyler Artist sweetie, no one deserves to be violated that way. You may still feel the same way about abortion when you get older but also, you will see that life can be very hard and these decisions are not easy. If you can separate what you feel is wrong of the pregnant woman to do from what the abortionist back in the day did, then you may see that regardless of who is on the table, for whatever reason, it is sick to violate a woman or man for any reason. I am not here to tear you down, but hope you don't fill your heart with hate for these women or doctors. That isn't going to help anyone.

      Sad stories. Molesters are horrible people.
      However, most abortions happen simply because people don't want to take responsibility of having a child and they actually have the audacity to say it's their right to choice to kill a defenseless human, no matter the background story.
      Someone gets raped they're only thinking about themselves and not the harm that they are doing to the baby; the baby does feel pain, just the female doesn't feel the same pain that the baby does. The babies only chance is the mother's decision.
      Plenty of real females that live in the real world, have been raped or molested and still gave birth and life to the innocent child!!

    My grandmother is 83 years old. She is one of the most conservative and religious people I know. She was also a nurse in the 1950s. She's told me stories about young women coming in and hemorrhaging from sitting on knitting needles or coat hangers. Perforating their organs by quack doctors. She remembers 12 and 13 year old girls who were raped and forced to go through pregnancy breaking their hips during labor, because caesarians weren't safe/common procedures yet, and their bodies were too small to carry a child. My grandmother is pro choice, because she doesn't want to see these things happen again.

      I know little boys who had their feet and hands cut off from not being able to do their job efficiently enough. I know men who were killed or seriously injured from protecting a woman they didn't know from a man they didn't know. Bad things happen. Even to the good and the innocent people. You can not fix a wrong with a wrong. Most abortions have nothing to do with rape. Just irresponsible people. Even so. I don't see how forcing death on a child who never asked for it, is any different than forcing sex on someone who didn't ask for it.

      I dont see how a clump of cells matter more than actual children. Shouldn't we be actually caring about ensuring that our children are safe rather than forcing people to have kids they dont want? its even worse to be so adamant about controlling other ppl to have babies they dont want but not do any part in the child's growth when its born. Ya'll be the people that goes triggered over a clump of cells in the first 5-6 weeks but not actually care for the unhappy children in the adoption cycle who's only chance at happiness is a literal lottery system with strangers. Thanks for making this world a miserable place for the actually born children. There are people that can't afford a child or should not be raising a child. There are children that have to sacrifice their education so that their new sibling gets enough to eat. Go adopt some kids or something or actually help the mom that wants to go through with the pregnancy. Ya'll think women just shit out babies after 9 months of doing nothing and then ya'll just wants to collect their baby free of charge. All I'm saying is, dont preach until you've done your part. I'm all for contraceptions and pills, they should always be the first thing if a couple doesnt want a child. Abortion is a last resort

    Remember folks, when you say things like "Only whores have abortions" and "It's only right for women to die for their sin of abortion", chances are quite likely you're talking about one of your elderly female relatives. Your grandmother or great-auntie. Or on the other end of the spectrum, it could just as likely be the nice young married mother who lives next door, who you're so fond of.
    An enormous percentage of women have an abortion during their lifetimes, so any time you're around a group of women chances are at least one of them have had an abortion- regardless of age, race, religion, or socioeconomic status. It could even be your own mom. So hey, howzabout you stop slandering them behind their backs to their faces. The LEAST you can do is face them with your accusations in the open, instead of back-stabbing them at work or church or the grocery store because you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

      myintx Yet no one seems to care about the children in foster homes who are abused daily. At the end of the day, it is the woman's choice and her right to do as she wishes. Whether you like it or not, its HER business and still HER body that harbors the child, thus SHE deserves to make the final decision. You dont know the circumstances that would lead for a woman to have an abortion and it is none of your damn business what she does with her body anyways. Worry about the kids already born in need.....

    • @myintx
      @myintx Před 6 lety +4

      Say a woman wanted to have a baby and changed her mind when the baby was 2 days old... Can she kill the baby so the baby doesnt have to go into foster care? What about abortion at 7 or 8 months for that lame reason? Yes ,there are problems with foster care....that doesn't justify killing a newly unwanted newborn or an unborn child.
      No one should have the "choice" to kill an innocent human being to make their life better - NO ONE.... A woman has to use "her body" to care for a newborn if she gives birth in her house... are you OK with the law FORCING her to make sure her newborn is OK? OMG, she may have to use "her body" to call 911 and then use "her body" to care for the baby until the police come - how ever long that takes..... And if your LAME "her body" excuse applies at 12 weeks, does it also apply at 30? Can she have her unborn childs arms and legs ripped off his or her body at 30 weeks for any reason she wants?

    • @ItsTopCat
      @ItsTopCat Před 6 lety +10

      myintx What about rape victims? What about the risk of losing your life if you continue with a pregnancy? Regardless of the reason, it doesnt matter at the end of the day, the decision is solely up to the woman.You can only worry about your OWN body and have no right to tell a woman what to do with hers, no matter what the reason is. And it takes two to tango. Why dont you also express your frustration towards the men that got the woman pregnant? They are equally responsible in influencing what the woman's decision will be. Or, worry about things in your control instead. You disregard the idea of tending to already born children in need but all that is proving is you wouldn't give a damn about the kids who almost got aborted. Plenty of kids in need were almost aborted but live terrible lives as their parents didnt want them.

    Once, I was asked by a very religious family member of mine after a discussion on abortion if I would get one myself. They claimed that if I said no, I couldn't defend abortion. I answered that I have never been in the position of a young, pregnant mother, so who am I to say I would or wouldn't? I DO know, however, that it would frighten and disgust me to be in a position where my decision affects me, and ONLY me (a living, conscious, fully formed being who was and is wanted) but not be able to make it.
    Women are not puppets whose behavior you can dictate and control just because you think she's "purer", "refined", or "classier" if she doesn't do this or that. When a decision you take starts affecting others, then you must be stopped. Until then, NO ONE can control you and certainly doesn't have a right to control your own body.
    * P.S. No matter what you do, man or woman, you will be judged. People will say you are too tall, too short, too ugly, too slutty, too much of a prude, too fat, too liberal, too conservative... etc. So just take a step back, check that you aren't hurting anyone (physically or emotionally) and, if you aren't, ignore them.

    I feel sick when she said that she got molested after getting an abortion. For the people that are totally against abortion have to realize that sometimes you don't have an option. For example when I was 12 my aunt got pregnant but, she had her tubes tied. that means she could possibly die, i think. she has enough kids already and she didnt have the money. so she did what she had to do. believe me, she didnt want to but she was not in a good place at that time. and for the teens that get pregnant, i don't know what to say to that. it's a whole different story. but just know that abortion is a choice, except for the moments that it's not. so if you know someone that had an abortion, let them explain what happened before you say anything. for all people that want to argue with me, I'm not gonna respond, you're just wasting your time for me to not look at the comment.

If abortion was illegal, we would probably have hundreds of thousands of kids in orphanages, unloved, and/or unwanted. What if you conceived a child from rape? What if you didn't have any money to raise a child? See, this is why abortion should be legal.

    I kinda feel like we have too many people having babies that aren't ready. it's better to have a child when you're ready then have it growing up with the struggles. it really changes a person. but it is sad killing something that could be but you should do what's best. Use protection people and stay safe!!

      Well you have to see it from their P.O.V. People have different ideas on what is considered "a life". To some there is a life as soon as a sperm and egg meet, to others it doesn't. Is either side correct? Who knows.

      "The pregnant woman doesn't have a life, obviously." People with that perspective seem ignorant of the fact that a woman is a person with a life and advanced cognition. But let's throw that all away because we believe that cells are worth more than people. It's okay to abort animal fetuses, for some reason. War is somehow okay, to send our families to die and kill the loved ones of other families. It is not okay, however, to remove an unwanted nest of cells from a body.
      10/10 logic, humanity is doomed.

    • @emmiluc
      @emmiluc Před 6 lety

      Good points from both sides. This is why before even debating abortion we need to have protection be provided everywhere, and we need to do more education on protection and rape, as well as self defense. We need to prevent something controversial from happening in the first place before we debate it.

    This is a really interesting point of view that I think people really need to think about more. I live in Ireland and right now a lot of people are fighting to legalise abortion, I really feel like this aspect of it is something that the government needs to take into account more.

      Niamh Doyle I feel for you. The situation in Ireland is dire. I read on the BBC about a woman forced to carry her dead child to 4 months pregnant because she could not have the dead fetus removed, as apparently it classed as abortion (even though the fetus had died). Keeping that fetus for so long caused this woman a lot of emotional distress and I wish the government would change their stance to at least allow for those circumstances.

  • @patriciamagana8918

    I think most abortions are necessary especially if the mother and the baby are at risk because of some medical condition, rape, incest, or if they don't have money and can't pay any medical bills. Idk how I feel about the people that just want to have one but at the same time I get it. If they're not ready to have a kid then they won't. There are so many kids waiting for a family, someone that would adopt them. So if you're against abortions do me a favor, go to an abortion clinic talk to one of the girls that are about to get an abortion and promise them that you will be responsible for the medical bills and everything she needs during the pregnancy. Then adopt the baby. But if you're not going to do that then you shouldn't be fighting against it.

      And even if there aren't medical or financial factors, like... why would you force somebody into parenthood against their will? Or, framed a different way, why would you force a child into a situation where their parents view them as a consequence (or something equally negative) rather than as an enthusiastic choice (or something equally positive)? Why is that a family dynamic you'd want to see perpetuated just because the alternative makes you uncomfortable? That's the kicker for me, is realizing that some people straight up don't want and don't even LIKE kids... no child should be forced to grow up depending on someone who doesn't want them around. Part of why I've come to see pro-choice as actually pro-life and "pro-life" as anti-abortion or pro-birth.

    Even if you don't support abortion women should be able to have a CHOICE you never know what could have caused the pregnancy, the steps of prevention taken that failed, rape, unable to support. No matter what religion or belief a women's right to decide what happens to HER body should not be taken away, so even if you don't believe at least let women decide to make the choice on their own.

The only reason we don't have as many stories like this is because we are so close to the UK and are able to access abortion pills online.

    me and my partner have been together for 6 years and are not sure if we want kids at all. so are we just never allowed to have sex? if both of the 2 forms of birth control we use fail (0.5 percent chance) I'm just supposed to suffer through pregnancy and childbirth, and we are just supposed to raise a child we don't want? I don't think so.

And o other things like, "You are disgusting if you have an abortion!" And honestly, I think it's pathetic that they would go on a street and parade those signs like they are proud of what they're doing. It's horrible.
