- Not going to put a infographic description because I wrote a whole one before and then the video wouldn't upload so yeah
Testing: Caroline and Talbot Counties test First Saturday of Every Month at noon (12:00 PM) ET
Cycle: 45 seconds-1 minute fast wail and alert
The Federal Signal 3T22 / 2T22 was a dual tone, mechanical outdoor warning siren made by Federal Signal Corporation from 1952 through the early 1990s. It has a very recognizable design, having a ten-port rotor on the bottom with ten cones and a 12-port one on top with twelve cones.
ik
GE motors for the win!
3 phase GE motors are my favorites on Federal sirens!! They tend to sound so much healthier!!
OMG I LOVED THE 3T22!!!!!!!! ITS MY FAVOURITE SIRENS!
cool!
Probably my most favorite siren! We have one in my hometown and I gotta say, when it starts wailing and the sound echoes off the hills, it gets eerie lol. When the FD does their tests right before a storm hits, it gets a bit unnerving. Makes me think they're expecting the worst to happen.
Yeah depending on where you are 3T22s can sound pretty scary
I love 3t22 with dampers on
I love the 3t22
One of my favorites
same!
Reminded of a sire here in Ellis County Kansas lol
I wondered if that was still active! Does the STH-10 up the street sound with it?
The STH-10 does still test and sounds with the rest of the county including this 3T22. I just couldn't hear it when this was going off
1:06 it is sparking inside take a look
@@Pelonisheaterwhoa!!
@@WoodJack99 you saw???
Thats not sparks, thats just a glimpse of the cloudy sky through the chopper
Definitely do for some refurbishment. But the motors are super healthy. The wind up was really fast.
2t22 and 3t22 and 1t22 is my favourite sirens
