Austin got a liver punch (which hurts like a mother fucker don't get me wrong) and couldn't handle it. So, in McBroom fashion, he suddenly broke his ankle, got popcorn lung, developed and cured cancer, got the flu and mesothelioma- It wasn't Gib.
So nice of him to cure all cancer! Maybe we were all wrong about McBroom and can finally feel at peace that the world is a better place!
Same thing I thought. Liver punches, if landed effectively, can easily end a fighter. You can't stand straight, breathing hurts like a mf, and even if you recover you're gonna be so worried to protect that side you leave everything else uncovered.

oh god just made it to the part, I don't think it was supposed to be funny? I don't think anyone but actual children would think it's funny and I don't think they make content for kids anymore, I could be wrong never watched them. The only way it could be funny imo is if someone edited in a black screen with text saying, "not intended to be actual financial advise" at the end of the clip.
They literally made a joke saying "If you look like us, run." You have to be a special kind of dense not to get the joke and not see the humor. Especially seeing as how both of those boys are out there legitimately beating "real" fighters. Whindersson Nunes is a Brazilian Stand Up Comedian. He tours all over the world, has several Netflix specials and he usually sells out big venues with his comedy. Without much fighting experience, he fought against one of the biggest Brazilian boxers and got his ass served to him in a platter. So he's not just an influencer, but an artist admired and beloved by many.

I know about shattered bones. I'm a nurse 20+ years. I got in a wreck and shattered my hip and I instantly went into shock..... Wasn't in pain but my r leg just wouldn't work. I was trying wasn't in pain but I crumpled down every time. I passed out but thankfully someone else got me out of the road

As someone with brittle bone disease, even if he had one, no way in hell did he shatter his ankle. He even walked pretty normally for a few steps, then I guess he decided on his excuse and started limping. But even that looks fake--at best he'd be walking like Kerri Strug if he really shattered it, but she was a badass olympian gymnast. In reality he'd be on his ass in tears just like the rest of us.

No, it isn't, you clown. If it was, you wouldn't see ground and pound in MMA. Boxers wear 16 ounce gloves, while MMA fighters wear 8 ounce gloves. So I actually broke my ankle recently (breaks in three different places) and let me tell you the pain was beyond excruciating, it was all I could do to keep from screaming. Maybe I'm just a weakling, but I can't fathom even _attempting_ to walk on it now almost 3 weeks later, much less the moment it broke. I've heard stories of people walking or running with a broken limb before, but those were usually in life or death situations where their adrenaline overrode everything else. So yeah I _highly_ doubt Austin "shattered" his ankle, *maybe* an itty bitty stress fracture, but an actual break? Yeah, I don't buy it.
i broke my ankle as a kid and its never been the same, it twists and sprains with no effort. i can say that austin may have a similar bitch-ankle but he def didnt SHATTER it. prob a bitch-sprain or he would have been screaming his lungs raw or biting his cheek/tongue bloody trying not to scream
I tore my groin muscle and busted my kneecap during one rehearsal before our recital, which was the next week). I still had to dance through it. To this day, it still messes me up. Had to retire temporarily and years later, it's still giving me problems. Dance injuries are so common, but you're trained to dance no matter what. Brutal stuff.
I broke my tibia and fibula like 3 years ago but I remember the moment it happened, I couldn't even crawl on my hands and knees bc it hurt so much to move at allllll. He's lying

I sprained my ankle last year and couldn't walk on it right after (I did get it pretty good 😅), I highly doubt Austin actually shattered, let alone broke, his ankle right there. He would not be walking so casually.
As someone who had a broken ankle on both sides of my foot the pain was excruciating. I dissociate as it is normally and even that plus morphine wasn't helping me to cope in the following months in hospital. I wasn't even allowed to go home for over 3 months due to the severity, so I call bullshit.
Adrenaline is the best drug he probably felt nothing until the fight was over
@@waynemunn5200 I had adrenaline too and kept walking on the ankle until it snapped fully on both sides, I was told by the drs if had kept walking I'd have lost my foot so I get your point but there's no way he could have carried on with that kind of injury without there being SOME visible signs.
As someone who just had a Trimalleolar Fracture 'a shattered ankle', that required emergency surgery; I can say without a doubt that Austin didn't _shatter_ his ankle. It was an excuse, like always, because he was losing his fight. 💀

Brazilian Here. And I live in the USA and he is really big, also a comedian that tours and has Netflix specials. But I also have to say their is nothing like Brazilians cheering someone on. ❤❤❤❤
Whindersson was the first Brazilian youtuber to get out of the "CZcams bubble". Before him, most of the Brazilian CZcams users were pretty niched; videogames, technology, beauty, etc., and quite young too. But when Whindersson started making videos, he spoke with the parents, uncles, grandfathers of that user base. He basically paved the way for Brazilian CZcams as we know now. At that time, even people who didn't ever consumed video content started talking about his latest video or some joke he'd told. So yeah, he isn't just an artist/youtuber/comedian, he's a cultural landmark here.
So i broke my ankle...in three places. To be honest, I wasn't in pain (to the point doctors initially thought it was a bad sprain). HOWEVER, despite not screaming in pain, I DEFINITELY could not walk on it...If he "shattered" it, that would not be his response AT ALL. Maybe he's going out for the most fights while injured 😮
Whindersson is fucking massive, he started off as a comedy/story time channel back in the day (hi I grew up in Brazil watching him and q bunch of other Brazilian CZcamsrs)
And this man is a brilliant stand-up comedian from what I remember, I haven't been in touch with what he has been up to lately BUT he's for sure massive as hell

I broke my foot last year, and no you aren't walking on it. Others who broke their ankle (so, more direct experience) have commented the same.
For me, I had a Jones fracture of the 5th metatarsal (tl;dr: broke the bone of my pinky toe side sort of around midfoot/ball of the foot area). I heard the bone break but thought it was the plastic thing I'd tripped over because it was so loud and sharp/popping sounding. Didn't feel any pain sitting on the floor and when I looked over my foot looked completely fine.
But the second I tried to put ANY pressure on it, the pain flared up... and more importantly, something on my body just did not allow me to try to power through it.
Even after thinking I may have broken my foot I didn't want to go to the hospital right away, thinking maybe I was wrong, plus ambulances are so expensive so I thought I might just sit somewhere for a few hours until someone may be available to bring me in. But I couldn't even scoot across the floor properly... let alone hop unaided as I'd planned.
The tiniest shift of the bone almost locked up my leg or something, or more like made it weak where it needed to be strong and locked where it needed to be loose or something, iirc... I guess I don't remember the exact details of how and why, just that even with high pain tolerance and a huge aversion to calling for help and a tendency to stubbornly do everything on my own, I wasn't able to get back up on my feet to get anywhere and I couldn't put pressure on my foot.
I did figure out a way to hop soon after and with the aid of a friend I got into the car, and later hospital wheelchair no problem. I also was totally fine waiting hours at the ER and when they gave me a boot until I could see a surgeon I did my best to keep weight off my foot but when I accidentally did touch down here and there it wasn't the worst feeling I've ever had.
With adrenaline and all that, and for someone trained with stronger muscles and etc, it's not that I think it's impossible for someone to hobble on a broken ankle or foot... if there had been a fire in my home when I broke my foot I'm sure that stopping mechanism in my body/brain would have allowed me to scramble away.
But it took months for me to be able to properly walk on my foot without fear or aid, and that was with the surgery that potentially would be a shorter recovery than not doing it. And the surgery went well and so did my recovery. But even now slowly coming up on a year later I can walk on it but I have nerve problems.
And this is for a broken foot... ankle would be even worse I have to imagine. It turns out there's no way to put any pressure on your foot without affecting that bone I broke, but at least when I had my foot up it was fine. But the ankle with its mobility and complicated structure in comparison has to be even worse.
If he'd ever broken his ankle he would have been out of commission for weeks at least, and if it was shattered he'd need surgery which would increase the time when you add in recovery. Especially for someone who is an "athlete" of any sort, he'd have a much stronger drive to make sure his ankle has minimal lasting damage or issues.
So yeah.... I may have given the benefit of the doubt based on the circumstances, MAYBE, if he were someone else.... but he's pretty much definitely lying here.
I’ve only ever torn the ligaments in my ankle and I think it’s safe to say if there was an injury , that would be it. Cuz I was still able to walk on it when I injured myself , broken bone you wouldn’t be walking lol

I broke my ankle 3 times as a kid. Fractured the bone, tore the ligaments. It was the worst pain I'd ever felt until I got my first kidney stone as an adult. Still, it's the 2nd worst pain I've ever experienced... Even my c-section was mild by comparison. That's no way he shattered his ankle.

It does not look like Austin "shattered" his ankle. If it was that bad, he'd be crawling out of the ring. If it was broken, he'd have a very noticeable limp. If it was shattered, he wouldn't even be able to put pressure on it. Now, he could have sprained or strained his ankle, and that's something you can walk on a little more easily (not to downplay that kind of injury-it'll still hurt like hell-but walking on a sprained ankle is very different from walking on a shattered ankle). And yes, to determine the presence and severity of a fracture, you would need an x-ray and a doctor to review it.

I sprained my ankle once after sliding down the stairs drunk and I guess the alcohol was enough to ignore it and go back upstairs to bed but the next morning, as soon as I put my foot down the pain hit me. There's no way you are walking on that if it's 'shattered' especially with how long he has his foot on the ground with no visible whince. Yeah you can have different pain tolerance by the body is very automatic and we would've noticed it

Brazilian here! About the question "How famous is Whindersson Nunes in Brazil?": he is definitely one of the most famous youtubers here. I don't really know which English speaking youtuber I could compare him to, but he has become a millionaire from CZcams (and he was quite poor before that), he has traveled the whole country doing comedy shows and I'm pretty sure he's been in movies as well. Nowadays I'm not even sure if he posts that much anymore on his channel anymore, I think he is at a point in his career where he is focusing on other things

As a person who has shattered their Ankle you can stand on it a little bit. It hurts like a bitch but with Adrenaline going at that moment I’m sure he could walk on it. I rode scooters professionally and broke my ankle competition day during warm ups and still ride on the comp cause I didn’t want to not compete. Was it smart absolutely not, is it possible yes. Of course a compound break is different to a non compound break but just judging from the clip it looks like his foot was planted and turned so fast to where I could see it breaking.
