Thanks for this information it gave me the confidence that I needed to adjust my trigger and to get it back together with Pride
Thank you thank you thank you for not wasting the first five minutes of video like the typical CZcamsr does. You didn't shill for sponsors or beg me to subscribe and you only gave the context that was relevant to the video, not your whole life story. Because of this, I subscribed and I will use your sponsor links next time i get something from Brownells! This is how all CZcams videos ought to be!
Thanks for the kind words. I try to make videos that I’d want to watch.
I'm loving how accurate this 22lr shoots
Took mine down to 1.5 Pounds on day one. Now fitted an Oryx Chassis. Tack driver! Great vid.
Thanks, I just got a CZ 457 as well, looking forward to warmer weather and head to head testing!
@@ZackCarlson What you prefer the CZ or the tikka?
They are both pretty good but the tikka seems to be shooting a tad better but I still need to do more testing.
Great info. Thank you.
Any concern re the dry firing during this testing? Did you have a snap cap or similar to protect the breech face or is it a non issue?
Great video. Just bought one and it needs torx not allen wrench.
Thanks for your video. Straight to the point. Very good. You mentioned that you are changing stock and you measured the Tikka composite stock. Could you please share the weight of that original composite stock? Thank you in advance.
I planned on replacing the stock, but after painting it I'm less inclined to swap it.
Regarding the stock: get a pse. Great product. But i would recommend to get with bedding.
THAT'S EXCELLENT FOR A FACTORY TRIGGER, I WONDER IF WE CAN GET A SMALLER ALLEN HEAD SCREW TO GIVE YOU MORE ROOM TO LIGHTEN THE TRIGGER SPRING SCREW.
I WILL BE PICKING MINE UP SOON, I AM PLAYING WITH IDEA OF GETTING A KRG BRAVO CHASSIS FOR IT IN GREEN, I know you can use that stock for the regular tikka T3 short action also, so you can switch barreled actions in one stock!!
Nice! I have a KRG Bravo on a centerfire gun and did consider getting one for the Tikka as well, but ultimately I decided I needed to keep it light enough to shoot offhand if needed.
You may be able to put a different allen in the trigger but for how many times you are actually going to adjust it in its lifetime it's likely not worth the trouble.
Thanks for watching.
How many full revolution did you go from factory settings to rich your settings - I don't have the trigger gauge to check my one. Great video mate 👍.
I don’t remember it’s been so long.
Nice video!
Thanks!
You use t1x rail, what torque need to tight it?
Cheers Mate!
Thanks for watching
Great video
Thanks!
Yeah agreed.. I was cringing every time he was pulling the trigger 😖
Good vid though. Explained and demonstrates clearly
Get a Yodave trigger spring and you have a really nice trigger at 12 ounces trigger weight.
Already have them coming for both my Tikka and CZ.. taking forever to get here though.
Don't buy from YoDave if you pay with a credit card. The guy tried to scam me. I had to get Visa and the Bank to correct my loss. Dave called me every name his little mind could think of in the email reply's. A real piece of turd. Buy on eBay.com or anywhere else and avoid this scammer. If you have given your card number to Dave, check it constantly for Dave helping himself. I cancelled my card after that theft event. I was lucky that I found the theft of $36. Charge me $80 but took $116 from my Visa.
Just did this, went from mid 4 to high 2 lb.
How do you like this rifle?
I absolutely love mine
Can it be dry fired or not?
Manual says long term dry fire may damage bolt
Just use an empty 22lr shell
Bing Bang
@@robertsalyers1351the manual says that using an empty brass case is not sufficient to cushion the firing pin. Use a snap cap.
Manual recommends a safe setting and you ignore it 🤷♂️🤦♂️
