The 3/8" rimfire mounting slots has been the .22 rifle standard in the USA since some time in the 1950's. I am glad we are moving away from it, but it has long been the standard for .22 shooting.
Can you take it apart and dry tumble it in corn media?
Can you take it apart and dry tumble it in corn media?
de cuanto es el riel que tiene integrado 11 mm?
why this gun is so hard to find, i been looking for 10+ years now and still can't find it
I don’t think they make them often. I look at my distributors every so often and never see them in stock.
Hello. I would like to buy such a rail, but unfortunately I could not find where I can order it and where it is delivered to Hungary. Maybe you can recommend a European webshop?
No idea but you could reach out to the manufacturer directly and ask.
Best ever mags are the Victor Precision 25s out of Queensland, Australia.. I'm Told
Love my volquartson drop in kit
Might as well take a jack hammer to that poor crown. Wow.
Thanks for watching
I’m thinking about buying a bar model and sending it to them. Do you recommend any specific models? Maybe a heavy barrel model ?
You’ll probably want a heavy barrel model if it’s gonna be a bench gun.
@@ZackCarlson picked up the Talo edition LVT Ruger 10/22 today!
Iam82 in 2 months and live in daho and was elk hunting.with a remington 30-06 an it the went off I was picking it up by the strap .wont buy a rem again.
Okay cool! I just got my Holosun red dot optic in for my Glock 43x and was curious about the fix it stick tool set. My local Scheels has this in stock and wanted some feedback as to whether it was worth it or not. It looks as though it will do the job no problem. Thank you for the video.
I love mine. I’ve expanded my kit since this video. It’s my most used tool kit by far.
I thought the most valuable export from the great northland passed with the demise of the Professor. Then I found Triggertech.
Just curios,, the SMA4 AR appears to have a SME/Flash hider. I have SME on both AR 10.5" pistols. Significant sound suppression having measured 100 dbz max. with their use. That's roughly 85 dbz reduction. I went with the SBA4 for the wide cheek well after having 1st seen this video. I've subsequently ungraded both 10.5" Pistols, 7.62x39 with H3 (5.4oz) buffer weights; a southpaw having both left and right hand side charging pistols (one for Tonto) I'd like the brass going downrange range rather than into my breast pocket or BVDs, should I adopt a two gun approach, in the absence of Tonto.
You whine about the cost if magazines? ❓And yet throw useless kitchen sink stuff on a damn good CZ in stock form. You did because this eas not out if your pocket money? All tis is Lipstick on a great stock gun. Useless, but if it makes your boat float. Do It.👎
Thanks for watching
Idk if I missed it. But what brand pistol brace is that?
It’s a sb tactical
Thank you!
What length action screw did you use? I bought an Enoch Industries Deep Six chassis, and it requires a short action screw, it seems.
99% sure it’s a factory 10/22 screw
@@ZackCarlson I figured it out. The Odin and Deep Six chassis both require a 12-24 x 1/2” screw. A normal 10/22 action screw is too long.
The prices have risen dramatically......the BX alone is $100 today, not $50.
You are the ONLY ONE who clearly explains the distinct pieces and where they go.
Hope it helped!
Bolt open firing mechanism?
Yep!
Sound meter a must for comparison !!! SHAME ON YOU! AD REVENUE GREEDY!
Nonsense, maybe every 500 rounds. . . Maybe
Thanks for watching
Very. Very cool. Thanks. I need to build this.
They are addictive!
I know this is an old video, but what color is the chassis? PEWter? Bronz'N? Thanks! Great video BTW! It looks very similar to FDE but color over computers, TVs, etc may look different than up close.

I'll give you an HONEST review of a brand new Vortex Recon R/T 15-50 Monocular without all the BULLSHIT HYPE and gifted product BIAS. First it needs to be said I am a HUGE Vortex fan. I have been amazed by Vortex products in the past. This Recon IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Firstly is the glass. On a cloudless day with very low humidity on a windy day I was not able to get "absolute clear focus" at any range with this monocular. The retical was able to focus with plenty of adjustment on both sides +or- but the objective was in a word AWFUL. SECOND was the CONSTANT NEED to micro adjust focus at minimal differences in distances. This is simply NOT optimal performance under ANY circumstance. Eye relief is ABYSMAL. You need to be almost touching the eye piece to view thru this device. Next is the belt clip. For a Vortex product of this price, this clip is something you'd expect to find on a Chinese clone NOT a genuine Vortex. At TWICE the strength it would STILL be too thin. If you can overlook these CATASTROPHIC shortcomings of this monocular and are impressed by reviewers who avoid telling you the TRUTH because they are PAID with free products or are too dumb to actually conduct a quality review...( either will cost you your hard earned cash and give you buyers remorse)....then pick one up... otherwise.. AVOID THIS SCOPE. Vortex does have the BEST warranty in the business and that does go miles generating them loyal customers including myself. I'm just surprised that for the price of this one sided binocular..... it is of such poor performance quality. Build is Vortex standard SUPERB other than the clip and a kinda cheesy carry case. Vortex s/n 009971

Very cool I just ordered an el Camino for my 10/22. I went back and forth between El Camino and the Q erector for a while
I got rid of my erector and kept my el Camino if that says anything
Which one is more comfortable when accidentally shouldering?
A4 to me. Accidentally of course
No Kidd trigger??
Nope
@@ZackCarlson I really like my Kidd trigger, especially the two stage aspect.
@@dwightbrown2808 I fund the videos and I can’t afford a Kidd. Most places offer some sort of discount for the video but Kidd didn’t so they aren’t included.
@@ZackCarlson It was expensive. It replaced one that was an original Ruger trigger tuned up by Clark’s years ago.
Bought my 10/22 in 1970 ($49.00). Up until about 10 years ago still had stock factory trigger. It was like grinding two rocks together. Broke down and bought a timney, and it was as smooth as butter and broke like glass. After a few hundred rounds it was harder to pull, but still broke nice. Just went off the deep end and ordered a tg. 2000 volquartzen. Hope it lasts better than the timney. It's hard to spend 5 time's more on on the trigger than the rifel cost 😩
HA- I got mine about '71 at Woolworth for $50. Outstanding. Fun to read someone else got one back when. $300 today is nuts.
Awesome setup and great data!
Glad you enjoyed it

Bought one this week. Had a few feed issues on the first use but nothing too bothersome. Hopefully a good cleaning and some use will get it sorted out.
Hope you enjoy it!
This is the 22lr I carry in my range bag I bought it when it first came out and taurus didn't have a Stella reputation but a 15 round magazine 2 included it came with the half by twenty eight adapter witch is rare and it was one of the first 22lr that was and actual striker fired pistol and at the time they where cheap plus they offered 50$ back on mine I went right to the range with a box of the wall mart 560 boxes it ate everything no jams stove pipes I had sub sonic and my rimfire suppressor and it cycled them perfect plus it was so quiet I have 5 22lr pistol all good names but I rarely use anything but the taurus is always in the bag and it's so reliable why switch
Everyone thinks pull weight matters. It doesn't really. It's the travel that makes one fast or slow. For Steel Challenge, I'm looking to replace the stock trigger on my 10/22 Stainless Takedown for RFPI. It's just too long of a pull to go fast. My TCR/22 I use for RFRO has a much better stock trigger with no need to upgrade.
Fixing problems that aren't problems.
Thanks for watching
Thanks!
No problem!
Damn my stock trigger was like 6 lbs
Upgrade time!
What muzzle device did you go with, and did you have to use a crush washer? Thanks 👍
Hmm, sounds like the Pulsar is a better option. Not sure what the selling point is that makes it worth more than twice that of Pulsar.
Durability mainly
Want to have anything but full noise reduction I run my can at full length the best sub sonic ammo so I get the sound suppression as low a as possible that what I payed for I hate having to wear ear protection the full length suppressor brings the sound level down to the point you only hear the action of the gun that to me is what made it cost so much with tax the sub sonic ammo I like is more than standard velocity but to me it's worth it there would be much point to paying all that money then waiting 16 months witch I did the last time not to get the best possible performance from it.
Many people say six baffles is ideal (not including blast baffle and mounting baffle. Do you find that to be true?
I can't un😊derstand these suppressors why would you w
What’s the easiest way to clean the erector without destroying the aluminum or the anodizing
I'm trying to get my head around the graphs. It seems like a trigger that has increasing force that then levels off or goes down represents trigger creep. Am I wrong? It seems like the graph with the smoothest increase has the least creep.
Can you get a 10 round mag for the 6.5 for this rifle? Is so what brand? Thanks
I just use the magpul aics mags.
Can you please tell me how you clean your switchback I use an ultrasonic cleaner with purple power it does ok but the insides of the baffles get nasty. Thanks
